Nate did a great job coming out to our house and replacing the old water heater. Found these guys on Angie's List and was not disappointed. They also were about $100 cheaper than anyone else in the area. Called them at 9:00 a.m. after the other company couldn't make it and he sent his son out by 1:00 p.m. the same day!

I had two outdoor faucets that were bad. One leaked constantly and the other had cracked over the winter. I tried, but was unable to repair them myself. I called Janecky and we worked out an appointment time that worked for me just a couple of days out. They were punctual and very friendly. Two plumbers arrived and each tackled one of the faucets. The one that leaked was handled in just a couple of minutes. The other was much more difficult and involved having to work in a limited access area in the basement to cut the supply pipe so they could tilt it enough to move the head away from the outside wall. They were then able to sweat off the old faucet and solder a new one on before putting it all back together. They let me know that if the other faucet goes bad, they would have to cut into the drywall to get access, so I'm glad that one was able to be repaired. I was vey happy with the job they did.

Everything was completed faster than I expected

They gave me a window from 9-10 in which their plumber would arrived, and Nate was actually able to show up a bit ahead of schedule (about 5 minutes early). He took a look at the drain in the shower and within minutes was able to determine the problem. The drawback was that he was unable to fix the situation within the initial appointment, as the drain was installed incorrectly when the shower was installed. He was able to suggest a few ways to mitigate the situation (including hiring a drain cleaning service to help clean out the lines and help the water clear out faster). While Nate wasn't able to remedy the situation during his visit, he was very helpful in his explanation of the problem and took the time to walk me through what was happening so I understood what needed to be done next.

I originally thought the plumbing estimate was a disproportionately high % of the total project, but after getting into it, they quickly determined it needed a total gut and they ripped everything out, replaced with new drain pipe, venting, and supply lines. The end product was a thing of beauty, if that can be said of plumbing! There was a lot of plumbing in a tight space and they made it look simple and straightforward. We definitely got our money's worth! They also rerouted some drain pipe per my request which allowed me to gain 6" of headroom in the basement bathroom directly below. We did have a couple minor issues, and they were out to fix the issues the same day we called! To get the price down, I was on the hook for final fixture install, but in showing me a few 'tips and tricks' he ended up doing most of the final fixture installs anyway (I think he felt bad about having to come back out to have to fix the sink drain height). I have already referred them to friends and they were equally pleased with their work and responsiveness. Will not hesitate to use them again!

They advised me in the beginning that I might have catastrophic failure as the galvanized pipes may not come apart and I might have to replace one section after another. It was really tricky and I thought he did a really good job putting it together. He minimized the potential of it becoming a bigger job. I felt he charged me for an extra 15 minutes of time which included writing the bill. He was very professional. He did the job quickly. The price was very reasonable for what was accomplished. I would use them again in the future.

They were very responsive and came right away.

At the recommendation of a co-worker who has used Janecky in the past I contacted them to get a new toilet and leaking shutoff valve replaced. We needed to get the water for the entire building shut off to replace the valve, they worked around the time the management company was able schedule and did a great job.

Excellent. Janecky was professional from start to finish. They were on time, made good suggestions and did great work. I would recommend Janecky to friends and I will use them again.

The supplier that we ordered our fixtures and valve from sent us the wrong valve, unfortunately. Janecky discovered this after it installed the valve, but then they ordered the proper valve for us and installed it the day the new valve arrived. They also did a nice job of working with our tile installer to change out the valves without disturbing the freshly installed tile. Ryan (one of Janecky's plumbers) did a nice job of performing the work and explaining the process to us. He also replaced our old drain and secured our sink to the wall -- two tasks that he was willing to do on the spot. We highly recommend them, and we will call on them in the future.

I was refered to janecky through local remodeler. I recieved several quotes and thiers was the best. I did have trouble contacting them to get the job scheduled. I even got another company to give another estimate deciding to move on. When the other estimate came in much higher and janecky called me back I went with them. They came on time. nice guys. Easy to work with. Answered questions The job took longer than thought, but it was understandable, they worked hard the whole time. The plumber even put in a drainpiece not in th estimate and put it in no extra charge. Nice touch!

Very well. They were worked on the job for our remodel contractor CNS. Because it was a remodel they had to retrofit the existing plumbing as well.

They were exceptionally reliable and had a very reasonable cost. We would use them again and would highly recommend them.

We hired them to come when our older teenagers were at home. The kids forgot to tell them to take a look at all our bathrooms. When I called to see if they could come back, they did very cheerfully and promptly and didn't charge us anything more for the return visit! They also called me to report on what they'd done. I really appreciated that follow-up!

We were extremely pleased with Janecky's work. They promptly returned our call. The plumber arrived as scheduled. The work was performed quickly. The work area was left clean. The old water heater was removed. Thanks a bunch, Janecky!

It was great. They did a good job. Two other companies were going to charge a lot of extra money to move a toilet to a new location. This company did it for a fair price. They were one of the lowest bidders. Their prices are excellent.

Gave the best estimate for water heater of the 4 people I called. Called me and were able to come a day earlier then we arranged. On time. Laid down dropcloths to keep my house clean. Repaired part of venting that caused previous water heater to fail. Waived fee for taking away old unit.

Service was great. They actually called and asked if they could come early becuase they were running early. They diagnosed the problem, ran out to their truck and got what they needed and had it comepletly fixed within an hour.

I was referred to this company by my builder. The owner quoted me a price for the job. Joe arrived and when I opened the door, he greeted me by saying "Plumber" with no introduction. As I explained the work we needed he was sullen and rude. I verified the quote and work involved per the owner and was assured it would not go over the $ amount. When he completed the job he charged $155 over that amount saying it took longer than expected. I refused to pay the inflated price and he got angry and became extremely rude by raising his voice to dispute me. We had a heated exchange and I was going to phone the owner when he said to just pay what I had been quoted. I called the Janecky's and they apologized for his behavior and said the price should have been exactly what I was originally quoted. The work didn't pass a city inspection because Joe had neglected to caulk around the hole drilled to the outside of stucco and did not install the hose vacuum breaker on hose bib.

This company was recommended by a friend. I was really pleased. I wish that they could have been more flexible with time, though. They don't have afternoon appointments and I could get home as early as 3:30. So instead I had to have a friend come over and sit at the house for me on a Friday.

EXCELLENT. PRICE VERY REASONABLE. GOT A LATE START, WHICH SET THE SCHEDULE BACK, BUT WAS PUNCTUAL THEREAFTER.

FROM THE ROUGH IN THROUGH THE ALMOST COMPLETION OF THEIR WORK THEY DID A VERY SHODDY JOB. THE SUPPORTS FOR THE SINK IN THE BATH WERE CUT OUT DURING THE ROUGH IN AND WHEN THE SINK WAS INSTALLED LATER IT WAS OFF CENTER BECAUSE IT HAD TO BE ATTACHED TO A STUD. WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR THE FINISH WORK TO BE DONE THEY REFUSED TO ANSWER THE VOICE MESSAGES TO SET US UP ON THE SCHEDULE. WHEN WE FINALLY GOT ON THE SCHEDULE WE WERE PROMISED THREE MEN FOR EIGHT HOURS. WE GOT TWO FOR HALF A DAY. THE FAUCET TO THE WHIRLPOOL WAS AN ISSUE FOR MONTHS BEFORE THE RIGHT ONE WAS FINALLY PUT IN, THE FINAL INSTALL WAS VERY POORLY DONE. THE GAS LINE FOR THE KITCHEN STOVE WAS PUT IN THE WRONG SPOT. WHEN CONFRONTED WITH THE PROBLEMS THEY WOULD SAY THEY WOULD MAKE IT RIGHT. THIS MEANT HAVING TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER DAY. THEY FLOODED OUR BASEMENT ON THEIR LAST VISIT TO THE WORK SITE AND DID NOT CONTACT US ABOUT IT. WE ARE TIRED OF WAITING FOR THEM TO MAKE IT RIGHT.

THEY CHARGE BY THE JOB AND NOT BY THE HOUR AND THAT'S IMPORTANT TO ME. THEY DID GREAT WORK AND I WAS VERY PLEASED.

AFTER SEVERAL EXPERIENCES (MOSTLY POSITIVE), THIS IS THE LAST ONE. JOE WAS TWO HOURS LATE, BROKE A PIPE, TRIED TO LEAVE WITHOUT FINISHING THE JOB. WHEN I SUGGESTED THAT IN THE FUTURE IF THEY WERE GOING TO BE LATE IT WOULD BE GREAT IF SOMEONE CALLED, HE TOLD ME THAT WAS BETWEEN ME AND THE SCHEDULER. I TOLD HIM THAT IT WAS A COMMUNICATION PROBLEM BETWEEN THE PLUMBERS AND THE SCHEDULERS, BECAUSE I WAS TOLD NOON. ''NO ONE CAN PROMISE NOON, WE ONLY SCHEDULE BEFORE NOON OR AFTER NOON.'' I TOLD HIM I HAD PREVIOUSLY GIVEN THEM A POSITIVE RATING ON ANGIE''S LIST, IN SPITE OF A VERY NEGATIVE ONE BY ANOTHER CUSTOMER. HE TOLD ME IT WAS PROBABLY A CUSTOMER LIKE ME AND THAT NEXT TIME, I SHOULD FIND SOMEONE ELSE. I WILL.
