+ -1 moreIT WAS WORTH PAYING AN EXTRA $50 TO HAVE THE TECH COME TO MY HOUSE (RATHER THAN DROPPING OFF THE COMPUTER) SO I KNEW EVERYTHING WAS WORKING BEFORE HE LEFT.
Description of Work: WE WERE RECEIVING VARIOUS ERROR MESSAGES AND OUR COMPUTER WAS BARELY FUNCTIONING. THE TECH RECOMMENDED UPGRADING TO WINDOWS XP (WHICH HE BROUGHT ALONG) AND WIPED OUT THE WHOLE SYSTEM AND STARTED FROM SCRATCH. HE INSTALLED WINDOWS XP AND ALSO OUR PRINTER SOFTWARE AND TESTED EVERYTHING.

THE DATA ON THE CDROMS WAS INCOMPLETE, SOME OF IT WAS UNREADABLE. THEY ADMITTED THEY DO NOT USE ANY OF THE MANY UTILITIES AVAILABLE FOR FREE OR NOMINAL COST TO CHECK THAT BACKUPS ARE COMPLETE. I TOOK IT IN AGAIN. ALTHOUGH THEY DID FIX THE ERRORS, THEY STILL DID NOT DO ANY COMPLETENESS CHECKING.
