Description of Work: Jay fixed my problem over the phone! With the recent rain and outdoor Christmas lights a circuit got tripped and I could not figure out which one. Jay talked me through it until I found the right one. What a nice guy. Thank you so much.

We were in between homes and he was very accommodating with our schedule and what was needed for the sale. Very clean, very fair price, always on time with great communication. Thanks Jay!

Description of Work: Kitchen lights wouldn't turn on.

Description of Work: Jay Dalum arrived very promptly to find out why our bathroom lights would not turn on & to install a new ceiling fan. He fixed both problems and also corrected some other wiring issues in our house. He was at our house for about 3 hours. He was very professional and thorough. We will definitely call him again for any future electrical issues.

Description of Work: I had been having an irritating "chirping" sound coming from one of my smoke detectors. All the batteries had been replaced a month ago. Jay Dalum was extremely busy that day, but he managed to check out the problem that evening. Since all my detectors were more than10 years old, he suggested that I have all of them replaced. However, the chirping problem continued after he left. I waited until the following morning when I called him again. He came within an hour. Eventually he discovered that the CO detector that I dismantled and replaced (and which I had not yet recycled) was the real culprit! He dd not charge me for the second call, even though the "problem" was really my fault. I haven't heard a "peep" since!

Description of Work: I called Dalum's for advice on electrical work. Although he was extremely busy, Mr. Dalum took time out to come to my townhouse and to give me advice on how to take care of my lighting problems. I am now in the process of checking out lighting stores and choosing fixtures. Once I have made my choices,I will be contacting him to install them.

Description of Work: I called and left a message approximately 2 weeks ago and never heard back from them. It was around May 12th. I was wanting to use them for the office that I work for. We needed electrical work done. It's too bad they didn't return my call. I would not use them or advise anyone else to use them.

Description of Work: Jay is one of the best of any tradesmen we have ever used in 20 years of home ownership. Jay worked and completed a tough challenge (setting up new electrical for a new wall mounted tv setup over the fireplace), and did it all very professionally ie cleaning up etc we have hired him to do two other smaller jobs, and we have been very happy with his work, punctuality and prices. He answers his own phone, and calls back if you leave a message!!
