Description of Work: Barbara used a systematic approach to help me improve the organization of my home office. We worked through the numerous piles and clutter, deciding what was trash/recycling, worth keeping, in need of repair, or for give-away. She stayed for 2 hours and my office looked and felt much better at the end! My office needs more time, but I found that 2 hours was all I could do at a time. Barbara is friendly and personable, and has a good system that provided the motivation I needed to make headway. Her style is not at all "high-end"- she dresses and does business very casually. | |I would consider using her again, perhaps every 6 to 12 months, to help keep the piles from taking over. The cost was low and the benefit high.

Description of Work: I am so glad I called Barbara. I postponed calling anyone for help for a couple of years but am very pleased and relieved that Barbara has helped get my house and myself organized and clean and I am continuing to use her services. Barbara helped me organize and clean after a relatives death left me overwhelmed with rooms full of things that needed to be dealt with. Barbara helped organize and categorize the overwhelming project into managable bits. The night after Barbara left I couldn't sleep I was so excited (like Christmas was coming for a little kit) because there was so much hope. Barbara has brought peace and joy back into my home & life and I will continue to utilize her services.

BARBARA AND HER COLLEAGUE WERE VERY PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL IN THEIR RESPONSE. THEY REMOVED GARBAGE FROM THE BASEMENT AND ORGANIZED EVERYTHING ELSE TO THE POINT WHERE I HARDLE RECOGNIZED THE BASEMENT IT IS NOW SO ORGANIZED AND NEAT. THEY CLEANED THE FLOOR AS WELL AND MY STAFF IS NOW EVEN WILLING TO GO DOWN INTO THE BASEMENT TO LOOK FOR THINGS. MY NEXT PROJECT IS MY BASEMENT AND GARAGE AT HOME AND I WILL MOST DEFINITELY HIRE BARBARA AGAIN, WHETHER THE JOB IS PERSONAL OR COMMERCIAL!
Description of Work: THE CITY INSPECTOR REQUIRED THAT THE BASEMENT OF MY OFFICE BUILDING BE CLEANED AND ORGANIZED WITH SPECIFIC CLEARANCES FOR FURNACE AND OTHER ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT. WE HAD 30 DAYS TO GET EVERYTHING ORGANIZED AND CLEANED UP DOWN THERE SO THE INSPECTOR COULD RETURN.

BARBARA SPENT A LOT OF TIME ON THE PHONE WITH ME FIRST TO DETERMINE WHAT MY ORGANIZATIONAL SITUATION WAS, AND GAVE ME LOTS OF TIME TO THINK THINGS THROUGH BEFORE HIRING HER. SHE CAME TO MY HOME, WAS PUNCTUAL, AND WAS WORKING MIRACLES IN A VERY SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. BARBARA IS NON-JUDGMENTAL AND YOU CAN'T SHOCK HER WITH YOUR PILES OF STUFF! SHE DIDN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO OR MAKE ME THROW ANYTHING AWAY, BUT SHE AND I CAME UP WITH SOLUTIONS I COULD LIVE WITH, AND THEN I FELT FREE TO GIVE AWAY WHAT I DIDN'T NEED. IF SHE CAN HELP A FAMILY OF FOUR LIVING IN A 900 SQUARE FOOT HOUSE ORGANIZE OUR STUFF, SHE CAN HELP ANYBODY! SHE DID IT ALL IN ONLY THREE OR FOUR TWO-HOUR SESSIONS!
