The service was great. They were able to meet my scheduled timing needs. When he got here it was easy to tell him what I needed done and he made me feel confident he could do it. I warned him that no one works on this house w/o finding an "uh oh" moment, which he did find. It wasn't a huge deal but once he discovered it he had to fix it to stay in code. He was able to laugh it off, he had everything he needed to fix it even though it wasn't the original need. He was professional and pleasant and very thorough.

All went well. I have an older circuit box so Eric needed to go back to the office to get some parts. He fixed the issue and we discussed rewiring two outlets to add grounding and separate out the circuits. I can now run my toaster and microwave at the same time! All the work was great.

We called Montgomery Electric to investigate a GFI outlet/line that was not working properly. We also wanted to add an outlet panel on the wall by a built-in desk. The service technician arrived on time, was very professional and accomplished all the requested tasks in a minimal amount of time.

1955 rehab house, needed panel, power and pole upgrade. Contract bid was within the three other quotes obtained. Arrived on time and completed the job in two segments; panel and pole. Panel was updated first to minimize down time of continued rehab project (needed power/lights for other projects), upgrade included a 28 breaker panel. Time - less than a day. Moving of the main power pole (where the power comes in to the house) was delayed by unusual snowy spring weather (NOT under the contractors control). At the first relief in weather opportunity the contractor moved the power pole from in wall to home exterior (per code). Necessary access holes through eves and brick were done in an esthetic manor. Final rain proofing of old roof hole (to far for the new pole boot to reach) was left to the owner. Time - less than 1 day. Worker was timely, professional, and knowledgeable. Would recommend to others.

I had four items on my list, fix an outdoor outlet, add a GFI breaker to the garage, fix a loose GFI in a bathroom and install a GFI in another bathroom. The electrician was on time and fast! It turned out the outlet outside was working (another mistake by the buyers fly by night inspector) and the other three issues he quickly took care of in just about an hour and a half. Parts and labor were under $300 which was a score for me as we had initially offered the buyers $500 to have it fixed on their own (which they declined). Overall this was a VERY positive experiences. Mendota electric was responsive, honest, professional and a good value. He explained everything as he did it and didn't push for anything that wasn't needed. He worked quickly and cleanly and the house looked better when he left then when he arrived.

John was very responsive and was able to do an interim fix to get my water heater to work before replacing the full electrical panel. He performed the majority of the work on the weekend which helped with my work schedule. He made sure everything was back in working order before completing the job.

He arrived on time. He got right to work. He gave me choices for some of the work. He told me where to look for the cans I wanted or that he could provide them. He told me when he could come back. He cleaned up his mess - totally cleaned it up- and he left. In-out-done. Excellent experience.

Called in the morning and he was here by 11:30. Very friendly. Took the old fixtures off. Put up one fixture to see how flush it would be to the stucco. Discussed options and then completed the installation. It was all done very quickly. We will definitely use them again.

They are super professional, courteous, knowledgeable. They will talk you through the function or disfunction of your home in the current state just as is and not as a bias or up-sale perspective. I have done some framing so I know how things should be and what to look for. Josh is on top of everything and is very approachable. They are super great. I am having them do all my stuff and have canceled the other two bids. Earlier in the week they did some other things like moving my upstairs laundry to the downstairs. We are also remodeling the kitchen and they did some re-wiring. Josh worked his tail off and is super clean and super cordial. They also upgraded my service and panel. They are the best that I've found.

We would definitely recommend Mendota Electrical. We received 3 estimates and their estimate and actual costs were about 55% of the other estimates we received. The technician was here a few minutes before the agreed time and finished in 4 hours which was 1-2 hours less than estimated (the others estimated 8 hours to complete the job). We had 2 light switches and an outlet removed and moved to exterior walls from a wall we were taking down. We were very pleased with the overall professionalism and efficiency and would call Mendota for any electrical needs in the future.

I was able to set an appointment at a convenient time. The electrician arrived right on time. He quickly determined there was loose wiring in one of the kitchen outlets. He replaced the outlet and the circuit came back on. We also had a couple "funky" overhead lights in our basement and he was able to get them both working again. He was good at explaining what was going on and had a very professional demeanor. We are very happy with the results.

The electrician showed up on time. I could not find an exact replacement for my 1960 kitchen ceiling fan, so I got the closet thing to it I could find. He did a great job at making it fit. He needed to go into the attic, which has a very small access. He did this with no problem. He also changed the on/off switch on the wall at my request. He was careful of the stovetop that was below the fan. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service.

When they did come, they had forgot to put something up; because of that there was a problem when Excel came out. Mendota did come out to fix it and they resolved the problem.

Great. There was a list of items from adding GFI into the kitchen to upgrading the Master electrical box to a new, larger one. It took 2 days and Josh was great. He made sure he fully understood what was being asked and that everything was done the way I needed. They corrected a number of items to bring the electrical up to code that I didn't even realize were an issue. I would definately use them in the future and recommend them to others.

They did a great job! Their guy arrived early, was extremely professional and was able to solve the problem in less than an hour.

Except for my part, all went perfectly.

Josh showed up on time, and was kind and courteous. He installed the new panel in two days and timed the electrical "outages" around our family's needs (I work from home). After he finished the panel he set up the city inspection for us. He also installed three new outlets in our upstairs.

Work was sceduled according to my timeline. Work was done in the time frame promised and was done in a professional manner. I would definitely use them again.

Mendota Electric was very prompt in getting out to my home to provide an estimate. The estimate was performed Friday afternoon and I received a quote on Monday. I was happy with the price as quoted and had them out their next available date, Wednesday. Josh showed up on time and after a quick walk through, got right to work. It was a big project updating to 100-amp service, moving the service panel into the utility room, and re-routing the service line into the house. Josh was clean and efficient and prompted my input anytime there was a decision to be made among different options for doing things. I also had Josh remove my existing low-voltage lighting system and replace with new 120v wiring. He was quick and efficient in this process as well, consulting me on where he would need to remove drywall in order to properly run wire and having me approve locations so there were no surprises. The worksite was swept up appropriately each day and upon conclusion of the work. Once I had Josh working, there were a few items that came up throughout the house that I requested be done. I was given the price estimate for each additional service and all were reasonable upgrades. Even after the additional work, they came in under other estimates I had for the basic work. I would definitely recommend Mendota Electric and will have them back to my home if I need additional electrical work done.

Things went very well. The electrician, Josh, arrived on time, even a little early. Was very good at letting me know what was going on. Answered all my questions. There was obviously good communication between the electrician and the person who wrote the estimate, Rick Swanson, because Josh understood exactly what I wanted done when he got to my house.

Garage circuit breaker kept tripping, Mendota Electric investigated, we dug the trench, they rewired the garage. There is a deck that starts about 12 inches from the basement wall and they we able to come out of the basement, attach the wiring under the deck and then bury it across the rest of the backyard. Everything has worked beautifully since then and the new alley light is great. Even our neighbor across the alley commented on how much the new light helped illuminate the alley.

I called a few places that were booked out 1-2 weeks, but Mendota was able to get an electrician out to our place the next day. We really appreciated that, since we were running a window AC on that circuit during a heat wave, and were concerned about the safety of the heavy load. We have an older house with some oddball wiring (stuff not going where you'd expect, and several rooms on that one circuit) but he managed to find a solution quickly. We didn't get other bids on the job but felt the price was reasonable. Glad to get the work done promptly!

We had a very good experience with them. I called another company too, but Mendota Electric was able to get here quickly. We have an older home and the easy job turned out to be a little more complicated. He explained things as he went and got us taken care of. He was on time and he got things done in a timely fashion. He was able to come within a couple of days of me calling to make an appointment which was really nice. I would call them again.
