Description of Work: Checked operation of the water heater. Repaired sump pump piping. Provided a floor drain plug. Had to return, because they forgot to verify the proper operation of the sump pump (it was on the list but not done initially, hence the B on quality). All other work was fine. Price was probably high because it was a rush job.

 + 0 moreThey came and installed a water heater. I called around and the prices were fairly comparable so I went with AJ Plumbing since they were the most responsive. I received a quote and agreed to have them install the water heater. They were able to come out within two days, which was earlier than I expected. I was pleased with the service, Nick even called to see if he could come early. Unfortunately, I did not ask for a quote based on time and materials. When Nick got there, he uninstalled my old water heater, and then waited for 45 minutes for the new one to come. On the one hand, I didn't feel like I should have to pay for him to sit in the truck for 45 minutes, but since I didn't ask for a time and materials quote, I didn't think there was much I could say. Next time, I will ask how they came up with the quote.
Description of Work: uninstall a water heater that was leaking on the bottom. Install a new water heater. I requested a particular brand water heater, and a specific size (bigger than my old one) They offered helpful advice with the decision.
