Within 20 minutes of my call AJ Alberts plumbers arrived at my home. Colton and Thatcher were professional,friendly and did great work. They were done in 1 hour. New toilet installed and water leak gone. Price was very reasonable and couldn't be happier. I'm a repeat customer and will continue to use their services

I heard recommendations for AJ Alberts Plumbing on a radio station I listen to and called them after finding out we could not turn our sprinkler system on due to a cracked pipe. They came out and assessed the situation, gave me an estimate and proceeded to try to do the required work. They were able to replace the shut off in the house but had to order the correct vacuum breaker before completing repairs outside and replacing the broken pipe. They called as soon as the part came in and came out and completed the work. They were knowledgeable, courteous and prompt and we will definitely call them in the event we need plumbing work in the future. The cost was actually a bit less than the estimate.

Matt did a wonderful job. He was on time, friendly and professional. We had air in the piping and he was able to remove it. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in the future.

Our experience with AJ Alberts was great from start to finish. I requested a quote online and received a follow up phone call within the hour. We scheduled an appointment for later in the week. The technician that came to our home was prompt, polite and knowledgeable. He looked at our current water heater and recommended a replacement. He honored the Angie's List deal we initially inquired about even though we upgraded to a slightly different model that more closely matched our current unit. We just paid the price difference for the model we had installed. The tech had to replace a valve that wasn't up to code (since our water heater was 15 years old). The price for the valve came in under what was quoted. He replaced another valve for free because he had some time while he waited for the water heater to arrive. Everyone we worked with at AJ Alberts was courteous and professional. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them in the future.

Matt and Dan arrived and removed their shoes before reviewing the projects. They were totally professional and easy to work with. Matt discussed the projects with us noting that faucets purchased off the shelf have a lot of plastic parts. In the future we would purchase faucets from them. They installed the faucets, cleaned up and double checked their work. We were totally impressed. When they left everything was cleaned up and they even took the boxes with them. They also provided warranty information on another faucet that was leaking. We were very pleased with everything that was done.

The Plumber was very professional. He arrived on schedule on Friday afternoon, removed his shoes and reviewed our concerns at all three locations with me. He then promptly worked on the shower, followed by the toilet. He then explained that the Pressure was very high (over 110 lbs.), and showed me on a pressure gauge on the laundry tub sink. He also explained that a new Pressure Reduction Valve would need to be ordered, and that I would get a call to schedule the replacement. I received a call within an hour, scheduling the replacement for the following Tuesday. The work was completed as scheduled, with a good explanation of how the pressure relief valve worked, that it was set for 55 lbs. of pressure, and that I should call if any concerns arise. This firm installed a replacement water heater (High Efficiency) 4-5 years ago, and it has been working very well for us, without any problems.

We contacted a couple of plumbing companies, and this one seemed the most knowledgeable and professional. We went to their showroom and talked with the owner (Jim). He answered our questions about water heaters and gave us options to consider. We went back the next day with a couple more questions, exchanged emails with Scott, and scheduled the install. The plumber (Matt) that came to the house was very professional; it was obvious he knew what he was doing, and he was very efficient. We would definitely recommend this company.

We were not getting very hot water from a tub faucet. The plumber (Steve) came out and was familiar with the faucet and how it worked. He adjusted it up as far as it would go and checked the water temp. Temp now matches that of the other faucets in the house. He asked if there were any other plumbing issues, and offered to review where shut off valves were in the house, etc. While doing this I asked about our washing machine hoses, which were 19 years old. We discussed options and had him install a couple of new hoses.

The lack of service stated way early in the process, which should have been a red flag, but since I don't hire out many jobs, I didn't know better. When we met with the showroom individual for the original bid, we can to what I thought was a comprehensive agreement of the work to be done. The lady requested dimensions and I submitted the requested drawings in form of a very detailed Visio drawing the very next day. We were promised a bid within 3 days and did not hear back for two weeks. Once we accepted the bid and paid the half down payment, I requested a site survey to ensure they would be able to deliver the services we contracted for and within the time frame we agreed upon. The request for the site survey was never fulfilled. We started the entire process mid January 2014. and did not receive a quote until January 24th. The agreement was to have the job finished before Easter as we were planning on entertaining, we were promised it would be completed with plenty of time to spare. We paid for half the job on March 12th and the job was scheduled to begin on March 31st and completed by April 9th. All required parts, faucets, tub and tile were ordered. The demolition was started on the scheduled date, by the time it came to install the tub, I received a call at the end of the day stating that it was too big for the space and it would not fit, they needed or get one 2 inches narrower. When I measured out I found out that the dimensions I had provided were correct, but there were some support studs under the tub that were not visible with the old one in place. A site survey may have been very beneficial at this point. This snafu would delay the project by up to 2 days. The plumbers in the mean time installed the faucets and added plumbing that was not in plan, so the had to alter the pipes as they installed a diverter valve that was supposed to be external an not within the plumbing. The carpenter worked on an off, never any full day, although I must say his workmanship was the only good thing I can say about the project. During the entire time I was down to one bathroom in the house as both toilets were removed for the floor tile work. The carpenter went on vacation the week before Easter, he hurried and finished the floors so that the plumbers could set in the toilets temporarily for Easter Sunday. We were then told the project would be finish the Tuesday after Easter. Never were we warned that the Carpenter would be on PTO. The project was finally finished on May 6, 2014, after many phone calls, a great inconvenience to the family in terms of having to share a single small bath, and repeated visits due to workmanship other than the carpenter, so all plumbing. This is a plumbing company! The biggest problem was the communication which was so poor, the commitments that were made and dates that were repeatedly missed. For a 9 day project it took almost 4 months from start to finish. I will never use the company again, they did not seem to have an attitude that they cared.

Megan Dent worked closely with us in all aspects of planning, easily incorporating all our suggestions for color schemes and product design. She is extremely well organized, accommodating, punctual, and knowledgeable. She was so thorough in the planning that she made complete drawings of all aspects of the job just to be sure everything was on track. She also served as the project coordinator, scheduling the plumbers' work and the subcontracted carpenter in a seamless cooperation. Megan also honored our suggested budget limit and provided updated written estimates as needed to accomplish the financial goals. As the work was scheduled, Jim (the principle plumber) and his associates were very accommodating. Phone calls and emails received prompt attention. Especially helpful was their flexibility in staging the work in phases so that I could do the painting and wood finishing prior to the final fixture installations. This sense of teamwork helped to guarantee the success of the whole project. Special praise should go to Keith Johnson, who regularly contracts with A. J. Alberts for carpentry work. His conscientious craftsmanship was obvious at every stage of the work. He did all the demolition, carpentry, the cabinet door installations, accessory attachment, and the demanding floor tile installation. His workmanship is impeccable, he cleans up thoroughly each day, and he does not cut corners. We are very satisfied customers.

First cold snap of the season, my outside faucet wouldn't quite close properly. Lots of ice outside the house, although the real problem was the shut-off valve inside the house. Called several plumbers who, if they returned my call, gave me times that were a week or more away. Jim at AJ Alberts said that they could fit me in the same day, even though they were busy. Steve, the plumber, arrived after 5 p.m.. He explained the options for fixing the problem, then went quickly and efficiently about doing that. Very polite and friendly, explained what he was doing and why and cleaned up better than I do. :o) Made the inside shut-off valve easier to use as well. Great experience. Would definitely use them again.

The man who came seemed very nice and was helpful. The service did take a while but he did it well. He was very courteous in my home which I appreciated. I recommended him to my daughter who was having plumbing problems as well.

He was late according to the time he told us he would be here, but he had a job before us that presented some unforeseen problems. He did a great job and totally cleaned everything up when he was finished. The cost was better than we expected.

This is our second time having them out for two separate projects and we'll definitely call them back again if we need any work done. These guys are spot on, they're punctual, professional and reasonable. They get the work done fast and the price is great. Honestly don't have any negative things to say about these guys. Plumber was on time and was able to do the job quicker and cheaper than originally planned. Moved water heater location to different place to make it easier and cheaper to install. Old water heater was taken out without any problems. I'd highly recommend.

Due to snow covering an outside faucet much of the winter, a coupling was fused to the faucet and needed to be removed. I'd had 2 friends look at it and both thought I'd better get a plumber to look at it as I probably would need a whole new faucet. I called AJAlberts. Dan showed up 5 minutes early, checked it out and figured he could remove it without damaging the pipes or existing faucet , which he did. He rechecked everthing and assured me I did not need a new faucet and suggested an alternative replacement for the "coupling" so as not to repeat the experience in the future. It all took just a few minutes. When it came to paying, he charged me less than the company minimum fee. I've used this company before and would definitely use them again.
