Description of Work: Garage door making a loud noise when opening and closing and would not close unless button held down. Technician arrived on time and was knowledgeable and informative (I now know that if the light is blinking and door won't go down, something is blocking the sensor - BAD SPIDER!). Technician diagnosed issue with noise and provided instructions as to the cause and how to identify signs that the door will need replacing.

Description of Work: Installed garage opener. Put the electric eye too high, causing door to reopen. Had to be called back to reposition them. Electric eye had to be lowered. Wires were cut, no extra available, so they are very taught. Hope nothing hits them on the wall of the garage. Nothing could be done?

Description of Work: I contacted AA Saturday afternoon and scheduled an appointment for the following Monday morning to replace the springs on my double garage door (one spring had broken). Tim called to tell me he was running about 30 minutes early and verify that it would be okay to arrive early; it was. Once he arrived, he discussed the job with me and got right to work. When completed, he showed me the completed work, demonstrated the door was properly balanced and the springs properly tightened, and explained that his inspection of the rest of the components indicated nothing further needed to be replaced. The work was done promptly and professionally at the price quoted; I can't really ask for more than that.
