Description of Work: Repaired broken spring on garage door. I did question the cost since it took them less than 20 minutes to repair. I paid over $200 which seems a little pricey for that amount of time. I do not know however, what this work generally costs.

Description of Work: Installed weather strip on bottom of door. Screws fell out of door and I had to reattach myself. No response from vendor when I called.

Description of Work: The service person was here about 10 minutes. My garage door would not drop consistently. It seemed to get "stuck" at a particular point. Also, it screeched as it descended. I've never had an automatic garage door opener, so this was all new to me. The service provider showed me how and where to apply a lubricant to the wheels of the opener, and also how to adjust the "power" of the opener itself (and apparently when it becomes really cold outside ... it was very cold ... the opener requires more power. So, now I know how to do this type of service myself. I consider this to be a $49 tutorial. The service person was very nice and respectful (aka ... didn't make me feel like an idiot).

Description of Work: My Garage door had fallen off it's track and was dangling precariously over my husband's new Highlander that was still in the garage. I called AA Garage Door and they recognized the perilousness of my situation and pulled THREE men who were working on other nearby jobs to come immediately and take care of me. They replaced some parts on the system to prevent this recurring, gave me the Angie's list discount and and additional $100 "coupon" that had circulated but I did not have. Great guys, couldn't ask for more responsiveness.

Description of Work: The representative came out and looked at the overhead door and found a broken spring. He replaced the spring and did some adjusting on the door. After he was done the door still creaked and groaned and did not close completely. There was about 1/2 inch of daylight on the right side of the door. I was not satisfied but did not want to call them back as the I thought the job would not get done satisfactorily by that company. I called a company closer to home and they re-adjusted the door, replaced some parts that the original company should have seen as defective or worn, tightened the hinges, oiled the door and now it opens and closes with minimal noise and closes completely.

Description of Work: We had a new garage door and opener installed. They were quick to respond, friendly and made the whole process very easy ... in and out and done! I only got one other quote and the prices were the same.

Description of Work: Showed up early and had the issue fixed before I ever got there. Professional and friendly. I would use them again.
