AA Garage Door Service

Garage door wouldn't work; spring broke. Called them, they gave a price by telephone. Technician showed up one-two days later (on time for the scheduled appointment). Technician quickly got to work, replaced the springs. Technician was professional and courteous, and did not leave any mess.

Garage door spring broke one morning. I checked out Angie's List and called AA Garage Door. They had someone at my place in about 90 minutes who clamped the garage door spring which allowed us to use it again. Since we'd been considering a new garage door, and would need to replace the spring one way or another, we asked for some info from them, and decided to order through them. Took a few weeks for the door to arrive (special order, custom windows) but once it arrived they came and had it installed the next morning. The applied the clamping service fee ($75, I believe) towards the price of the new door as well, which was definitely appreciated. Great installation, very clean, no mess for me to deal with afterwards. Door looks great, and is well sealed. They gave me some maintenance tips as well. Everyone I worked with was great!

The worker arrived on time and completed the work quickly and efficiently. I am very satisfied with the work done.

I called AA and someone was at my house a few hours later. He was friendly, knowledgeable, explained exactly what was wrong and had it corrected within the hour. Our garage door was making a nerve rattling shreik every time it was closed and had been for quite some some. It also came off the track once this winter. Needless to say, it now opens and closes quietly (my neighbors thank you AA). The price was very reasonable. I will absolutely use them again if needed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

This was a rental property that I wanted to get fixed as soon as possible. I called them on a Friday Morning at about 8:30AM. They said they could come out at about 11 but I knew the tenant wasn't home and I could not do an 11 so I told them I could do it at 9:30 or else I would have to wait until the tenant could be there later in the day. They showed up at 9:30 and fixed it in about 20 minutes. They were able to re-straighten the bent track and get everything reconnected and working again with no additional purchases necessary. All I had to pay for was the service call. I would definitely use them again. They did a great job and oiled the door and wheels before leaving. When using a service company I am mostly looking for the following things: Trustworthiness. Quality work. Fair price. AA Garage Door gets top marks from me in all three of those categories.

I called them at 10:30 on a Saturday morning and they were out by 2:00 the same day. Springs rated for 30,000 open close cycles with a lifetime warranty.

I have to agree with the majority of other members writing reports on AA Garage Door Co. My garage door opener failed this morning and after a quick examination, knew it had to be replaced. I call AA Garage Door Co. and spoke with the owner (I believe his name was Dave). After explaining my situation he informed me that he had a special on a 1/2 Hp, LiftMaster opener with Wireless Keypad opener. I thought the price was very fair (I'd researched opener prices already) and asked when it could be installed. He said today between 12 noon and 4pm. I agreed and told him to go forward. His installer, Shawn, arrived at 12:40 and had the new opener installed in a little over 1 hour (mind you it is about 5 below zero today) and took no breaks. He did a great job, cleaned-up after himself, hauled away the old opener and briefed me on it's operation. An added bonus was I was upgraded to a 3/4 Hp opener because they didn't have a 1/2 Hp in stock. This was done at no extra charge. Shawn was professional and very conscientious.

I think they did well. The guy was just running late so he gave me a discount.

The company answered their phone on the first call, came out the same day and completed the task in under 20 minutes. I did not get a quote up front - should have, I was suprised it cost so much for what turned out to be programing my garage door opener.

Spring broke on 15 year old garage door so decided to replace. Dave, the owner, answered the phone both times I called and honestly answered all of my questions. I only went with another company because they said they could immediately clamp spring so the garage door was able to be opened and install new door/opener/keyless entry pad within days. Wish I had hired AA Garage Door. This company offered a two year instead of one year labor warranty. It took a week and numerous phone calls for the company I went with to totally finish installation.

Dave arrived promptly and gave great service. He installed our garage door opener without any problems. He answered all my questions, and showed me how to program the new opener. I would definitely hire him again.

Great experience. They were friendly on the phone as well as in person, they were two different guys. They came out, I believe, that same day or the next day (don't remember the day I called). I like to use companies that are within close proximity as much as possible and as long as they do quality work and a decent price. I gave a B on price just because I thought it was a lot for the time it took to replace it, but I also don't have price comparisons as they were the only ones I called so it could be right on. Also, I don't know what the cost of the cable was. I was glad it got done so fast, especially because it is a rental property! I would refer them to others and I would use them again.

They were very good. They showed up on time. The workers were nice and courteous. They fixed our garage in a timely manner. The garage is still working 4 years later.

I was rushing to leave for work and the garage door stuck. My husband checked it out, managed to close the door manually, but couldn't figure out what was wrong. We called Dave, who had installed the door a couple of years ago. He had someone out the next day, and they replaced the opener mechanism, and added an outside entry pad. They were pleasant, efficient, and reasonably priced. We will definitely call them again when the other door opener gives up, which will probably be fairly soon, given that it's now 20 years old.

We attempted to go to work, only to find that one of the garage door springs broke the previous night (we heard a bang, but didn't know what it was until the next morning). We searched through Angie's List and found glowing recommendations for AA Garage Services so decided to try them out. We called the Stillwater number and left a message. 10 minutes later we received a return call from Dave who told us someone would be there before noon. At 10am, the guy showed up. He said it would only take roughly 20 minutes to finish and he started the work. He was very friendly and shared a lot of his knowledge on garage door openers, springs, etc and I found that extremely helpful. After replacing the springs, he explained the lifespan compared to our broken one and showed me what maintenance I should be doing in the garage to prolong the life of both the springs and the garage door opener. The only "negative" is that he didn't introduce himself when he showed up - only said he was there to fix our door, so I don't know his name. Other than that, everything was perfect and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs garage door service!

One of my garage door springs broke after I got home on a Sunday morning. Other places I called wanted $400-600 minimum to come out on a Sunday, which is expected and fair. I called Dave at AA, he answered, quoted $249, and said he'd be out in an hour. He was here in 45 minutes,very pleasant, and told me it would take 20 minutes and it did. Just a wonderful experience for a repair that happened on a weekend day. It could not have done any better and Dave told me how to oil the springs.

Dave came out soon after I called, on time, helped me select a good garage door, explained the "care and feeding" of a wood door, told me how long it would take to get the door. The door came on time, and was installed expertly, by two very polite and professional associates,in just the way the original door was placed. We have an old house, and we have had contact with many companies, over the years, helping us repair, replace, and remodel. Some better than others. AA Garage doors, in my opinion, is a model for customer service (I thought customer service was an old, forgotten notion) When the job was completed, everything worked well, and the area was tidy. A day later, my husband decided to make some changes that involved replacing and extending one of the tracks. I told him HE could make that phone call. He called Dave, who was (I think, remarkably) pleasant. Dave said he'd be out the next day, and , personally, make the adjustment. He was,and he did,at his expense, and we were impressed. We recommend these guys.

One of the cables snapped on my wood double garage door and left the garage door in a very precarious position with two cars inside the garage. One car being a Mustang that has been in shows. Dave and one of his employees came to my rescue. They were fast and courteous. They got the door down without causing any damage to anything in the area, especially the cars. They replaced the cables and I would have gone for replacing the tracks but Dave didn't think it was necessary and was able to straighten them out and save me some money. He is fantastic and it seems others know this too.

The tech came out and adjusted the tension on the garage door opener. He also lubed the bearings, pulleys, cables, hinges and springs on the garage door itself. Door opens and closes as good as new.

On time, professional, and the door works great! I recommend them! They had good value and were in line with their competitors.

They were very good. They were very honest. I thought the door was broke, but it only needed lubricated. They could have made a lot of money off me, but they did not. Everything is working good. They were prompt and charged me nothing. I would hire them in the future if needed.

Dave answered my call and stopped by a couple hours later after completing two jobs with other clients. He arrived within the time frame he specified over the phone. He is polite, courteous, and professional. He explained the likely scenario for why the cables detached, and he also offered some suggestions to prevent this situation in the future. Furthermore, he never complained about the sub-zero temperatures he was battling that day as he worked. This is the second time I've used AA Garage Doors. This company also installed new garage doors for me several years ago. I would fully recommend this company to others.

I called them in the morning about 10:00am about how much it would cost to have the garage door fixed, and when they would be able to do it. They gave me the price over the phone and said they would be out there between 1-3 pm. The gentleman showed up about 2:40 and came to the door to let me know he was there and would be starting the work. He was done in about a half hour, came in, gave me a receipt, and said if I had any problems to give him a call. The garage door is working great! Very satisfied.
