AA Garage Door Service

I bought a deal for a garage door tune up. Very promptly scheduled and arrived at the appointment on time. Was told it would take 15-30 minutes. 5 minutes later I was told the service was completed. Oily hand marks were left on our opener in the garage and on the garage door itself. When my husband came home from work he asked if someone had tried to break in to our home. Other than those oil marks, I can't really tell any difference. Our garage is just as noisy as it was before the tune up.

Sean, the technician, did an excellent job. He was punctual, friendly, professional and quite knowledgeable. Repairs were done well, and we have not had any more problems. We will definitely use them in the future.

had to pay for two rollers that were not included in special. Dave was very friendly but yet professional. The work was done in half a hour. He cleaned up after himself. I was very pleased with the work done. Two days later the car remote would not open the door. I need to call him and find out how to program it. I hate to have him come all the way back out here for this.

The technician arrived within the time window that they promised and I was surprised at how quickly he was finished. I am satisfied with the job and would call them again.

They had a special, replace two torsion springs for $169. I called on Sunday afternoon and we set up an appointment for Monday. They showed up Monday morning as they said they would and did a great job. charged $169, no upsell, they did not try to sell additional service or hardware. Very professional, courteous, good work.

They did have to come out and adjust the doors after they installed them. They used my broom and got it all greasy so that I could not use it again and I was not very happy with that.

I was very happy with the service: They came on a Saturday, the day after I called (Others told me I'd have to wait 'til Monday) They gave me a window of 11am-2pm and showed up at EXACTLY 11:00 With the Angie's List coupon, they were the lowest cost of 4 companies I called He had all the parts he needed. He ran into unanticipated problems (e.g. spools were seized to the rod) which required extra work and parts, but he took care of it all without complaint and charged just for extra parts (very reasonable price) Finished quickly, left garage cleaner than when he arrived.

They told me the garage door was in good shape but just an lower value garage door. They were very good, friendly and customer service oriented. I would definitely recommend them to others. They were very accommodating and answered all of my questions. I thought the price was very reasonable for what they did.

I had an old Craftsman chain-drive garage door opener (guessing at least 12 yrs old) that I had to repair once myself by replacing internal plastic gearing. After I had completed some DIY work on frame around the garage door (replacing rotted wood), the garage door never rode up smoothly after that - it would buck and jump as it was opened and the opener made some awful noises. I called AA Garage Door Service because they were highly rated on Angie's List and many of the reviews noted that they responded quickly and everyone seemed to be happy with the service and price. I called Dave and described my track issues and noted that I wanted to replace the opener. He asked if I wanted a belt or chain-drive unit (I had read that belt-drive units opened very smoothly and quietly and are long-lasting) and asked for a basic belt-drive unit. Dave immediately quoted an all-in price for the opener, installation and adjusting of tracks. One of his more senior guys (Sean I believe) showed up within 10 mins of the earliest quoted time several days later, walked me through what he would do, and immediately got to work. When he was done, he tested all controls with me, programmed my Homelink control into my Honda Pilot and cleaned up all the debris. Whole job took less than 1 hour. I was invoiced for the exact price quoted by Dave. I'm completely satisfied with the work -- the door opens very smoothly and is very quiet. All the remotes and Homelink work perfectly.

Chris came out within the scheduled time. Got to work right away. explained everything to me and never pressured me to purchase anything. Which I really look at when I am paying someone to do a job. He did let me know that eventually I would need a couple of rollers but would not need to now. He also went over and even showed me what to do and how to do it to keep my garage door and all the workings last and work well. When he saw somethiong that was not put in properlly or something that needed to be adjusted or fixed he did it at no charge. He cared about how he did his job and me. That is also very important to me. Customer satisfaction seems to be a rarity these days and I don't think that companies that go out of buisiness don't get that with out customer satisfation there eventually are no customers. Word of mouth can make you or break you! I AM A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER and am happy to take the time to let everyone know that I would recommend AA Garage Door Service and will use them again.

It went excellent. He came in about a half hour and took care of the job. It took about 20 minutes to a half hour to finish. It was very excellent service. The door would not open at all and he fixed it.

Called late Thursday afternoon. Was given an appointment for the next morning. Technician showed up on time. Within 1/2 hour, he installed the new spring, adjusted a misaligned bolt on the door and provided maintenance tips. Was friendly, courteous and professional. He even reminded me that I was holding an Angie's list coupon in my hand (I had forgotten about it...) and adjusted my fee accordingly. Very satisfied with the service. Would use again.

Scheduled on-line. They confirmed the service needed, the cost, and the appointment time with a phone call. Service rep. showed up at the time interval scheduled and quickly fixed the spring for the quoted price. In addition, he lubricated and tightened the hinges and rollers. Could not have been more satisfied.

They were very clean. They did everything, including taking away the old door. We spent a lot of time calling different places and we were going to be required to dispose of the door ourselves. The quality of the door they provided was also higher than others.

They were fantastic. My wife was raving how courteous and kind he was. She was pleased with the service.

Everything went well. I asked for a quote and to be scheduled via email and this was no problem. I was scheduled for two days out with speedy service and the time window was narrow which made this more convenient for me. The repair person was on time and called ahead.

Arrived at the promised time (just over 3 hours after I called) and completed the job within 30 minutes. Excellent service all round.

Very responsive. Came out the next day after I called, but couldn't install the garage door opener because I needed an electrician to install a new outlet box. After the electrician installed the box, we scheduled a date for the install. There was a miscommunication on the date that they would do the install, but they were very apologetic and came out the next day. The service door was done on a different day and again there was a miscommunication (my fault this time) , but the serviceman managed to install the door despite my car being in the garage and the mower chained up nearby. It looks great. He also dismantled a couple of old storm doors in disrepair and hauled them away.

I signed up through Angie's list to use a coupon. I received a call within 15 minutes, and set up an appointment. The worker arrived promptly, was very courteous, and completed the job in 20 minutes.

Dave responded to my email within about 15 minutes and set up a time the following day for a technician to meet with me and review what was happening with my garage door. The next day, the technician (Chris) arrived in the appointment window and within about 90 minutes, had the new opener installed. Chris noted an issue with a component within the opener unit and said he would need to stop back the next day (Saturday) and switch it out. He was back by 9:00 the next morning and had the new component installed in about 15 minutes. He reviewed the operation, helped me set the keypad code and was on his way. Overall, great experience and I?d happily use them again.

Stopped in to Home Depot and decided to take advantage of their service to install a new opener. Next business day I received a call from AA Garage Door to set an appointment. Shawn from AA Garage Door was there within the time quoted. We went over what he would be doing and how long it would take. He was very professional, courteous and helpful. Once installed (took about and hour to take the old opener out and put the new one in) he went over all of the details about what he did and how the new system worked. Took the time to help program the factory installed opener in my SUV. Everything works great! I am very pleased with the work Shawn did and the time he took to go over the install and the operation of the new unit. I highly recommend AA Garage Door!!

I called the ST Paul AA Garage location and they came out the next day to show me their products. I picked a few samples and looked through the literature to choose the right doors. I chose the energy efficient Clopay Canyon Ridge. It took about a month for the doors to arrive. The installation took less than a day and was professional and top-notch throughout the process. The cost was high because of the doors chosen, not because of the service.

Problem with the door last night--the pulley flew off one of the springs. Called this morning at 9:30 and Derik was out at 12:30. About 30 minutes later he had replaced the pulley (I thought the spring broke) and all is well. Appreciated the prompt service. Will use again when I look into replacing the door next summer.
