AA Garage Door Service

Came by on Monday afternoon to check out my old garage door during the time promised. When he found he didn't have the right parts, he said he would return the next morning to finish the job. He showed up promptly even though we had over 7" of snow over night. He was very kind, professional and helpful. My garage door now works great. I should have had them out to fix it years ago! We did not have a motor to help lift our old two car garage door and as I was headed out the door to work I pushed it up to far. It must have been just the bump needed to un-spool the cable supporting the left side of the door. So, now I am running late on a cold winter morning with a door that I can't close. I gave them a call to see what a service call would cost to fix it and to get a quote for a new door AND motor to lift it at the push of a button. Not only were they polite and helped me find a new door that would fit our needs, but they took the service call cost of coming out and fixing my old door off the cost of the new door!

The service guy did a great job. When I called to make an appt I got one the same day! Was a great experience.

The technician was very prompt after giving me a heads up call. He was there and diagnosed the problem within 2 minutes and only took 10 minutes to fix it.

They arrived right on time, assessed the problem, and replaced my garage door springs within the hour. The cost was exactly what they told me it would be upfront - plus I knew about their online discount. Great service!

We hired AA Garage Door Service to replace the springs on our 2 door garage (one of the springs broke) for $170. The repairman was courteous and timely. However, after looking at the garage door, he stated that the springs could not be replaced due to the age of the door. He provided an estimate for a new garage door instead, a $750 expense. Upon getting a second opinion, we found that the springs could be replaced. Although the repairman was friendly and prompt, we feel that the repair requirements were not accurate, and could have cost us much more than we needed to spend. ---- We wish we had gone with AA Garage Door Service's advice, but we were in a bit of shock when we first talked with them. It turned out that we had the springs replaced, but the track did not last long given the overall condition. We had to replace the door in a few weeks.

The technician showed up right on time, Got right to work, everything went perfectly. You could tell he had done this many times. He lubed all the hinges, put WD40 on the springs. Checked the opener for proper tension, and gave me good info on keeping my garage door opening and closing like it should. I have 2 garage doors and had only contracted to get the rollers replaced on my double garage door. I asked him about the single garage door, he checked the rollers said they were fine and didn't need replacing. He then lubed up the hinges and the springs on that door. Made sure the tension and everything was running right and no scraping, catching or any other thing that could cause it to stick. All for no charge. Nice guy, young, but very professional. I would definitely use them again. Good, honest, fast!

I bought a foreclosure and was not comfortable with the operation of the garage door as it was. The safety laser eye was out of alignment and I was unsure how long it had been since it had any maintenance on it. I saw AA Garage Doors Angie's list deal and jumped on it. The service technician was a bit late, however that was a miscommunication on my part, and the were very gracious in responding to my error. When he arrived the technician was professional, friendly and explained everything he was going to do before hand. He took care of everything in very short order and my garage door is working wonderfully. I would highly recommend this business to anyone.

Couldn't get out of our garage one early afternoon in January. The garage would open a little way and get stuck. After 2 hours of trying, we called AA Garage. They had spectacular reviews on Angie's List. I described the problem and they knew right away that the spring was broken. They gave us a quote and said they had an opening first thing in the morning. We were happy except, we couldn't get the car out of the garage. I asked them if there was a way we could still get the car out. He said that we could help push the garage door up along when we press the garage opener and the motor starts running. Wow and that worked. Next morning, they came on time and had the garage fixed pretty quickly. Ecstatic.

My garage door spring broke around 3:00 PM on Friday and I promptly went to Angie's List and chose AA Garage Door Service. I was not disappointed. I called them at 3:30 PM on Friday and they were at my house by 11:15 AM the following day. He quickly replaced the spring on my double garage door, lubricated the rollers and insured it worked properly with the garage door opener. He also inspected my third stall garage door at my request and declared it to be in good condition. He finished his work in about 30 minutes. I appreciated his honesty, knowledge and friendliness. I would gladly use AA Garage Door Service for any of my future needs.

I have a double-wide, wooden garage door that is quite hefty. I noticed how quiet other doors were when opening and figured it was time to tune it up. A week later I saw the special on Angie's list and bought the deal. I called and they easily scheduled me in. Later when I needed repairs on the springs which broke in the cold, they were out the very next day and got the door working better than ever.

My husband met with the repairman and said it was a very good experience. It was easy to make contact and he arrived promptly. Apparently the repairman not only fixed the misaligned sensor, he also did some tune-up work so the door went up and down more smoothly.

My garage door was not going up or down some mornings. I had to either hold down the button or help push the door up as it was going up. The rollers were metal and the track is metal making for a very loud opening and closing. The technician came out and replaced my metal rollers with plastic ones. He even re-aligned some of the brackets. My door now works and is really quiet. I will be having them come out this summer to replace the rollers on my other garage door. From start to finish it took 20 minutes.

Our garage door wouldn't open because part of the door was buckling. AA had a garage door tune-up special on Angie's List so we called them. They didn't have openings until the next week but when they heard our door wouldn't open they came out the next day. They did the work and the door works great. They could have easily talked us into unnecessarily buying a new door. So I respect them for giving us a much less expensive option.

Arrived on time and completed service in a timely fashion. Explained service and why. Polite and professional.

I called them on a Friday and was given an appointment for the following Monday to install the garage door opener that I purchased from them. Note: I indicated that this was not an emergency. The service technician arrived at the time of the appointment. He was professional in appearance and competent in his work. He answered all my questions thoroughly. He made suggestions that were appropriate. His work was neat and sensitive to my needs. As of this review, the installation has been in place for three days. Everything is working quite well. I would recommend this firm without questions or reservations. It has been a good purchase.

Large spring and cable broke the evening of 12/21/2012. I called them right away as they were the company that I used to inspect my garage door when I moved into my townhome. They sent their employee over the next morning to take care of the problem and he completed his job in a short time. Very happy with the work they performed. Very professional and would definately use them again. Thank you AA Garage Door Service! You were lifesavers especially only a couple days before Xmas.

We purchased a garage door opener to install but time got away and weather got very cold.I called and Aa was out the next day. The young man was very polite.We had a small issue when I went to use it and he turned right around and came back and fixed it. Great service!

It was a very positive experience. The work was performed in a very professional manner and was not at all rushed. I would call this company again if there are any more issues with the garage door.

Our garage door spring broke. We unsuccessfully tried fixing it ourselves spending several hours on the task. Called AA Garage Door. He came out the same day and fixed it within 45 minutes. (Home Depot gave us the wrong type of door spring.) He also greased and aligned that door and a second garage door. We were very happy with the service!
