AA Garage Door Service

The garage doors work much better now.

After we decided to order new doors, which was promptly ordered, they came and temporarily fixed the broken door so it would work until the new doors arrived. The guy even showed up on time the morning of one of our MN blizzards when schools were all closed; I couldn't believe it - excellent/awesome service. Then when the doors came in (on time again), they installed them and cleaned up everything and made sure not to even get any fingerprints on the new doors. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and did a great job. If I could give an A+, I would.

The service from AA Garage Door Service turned out fine. We used them on top of other things. With the big deal they did get a annual garage door tune up, just realigning and making sure everything was in order, sort of regular service sort of thing. They were on time, professional and seemed reasonably priced. The price seemed reasonable. They are definitely good at responsiveness. They were on time. No complaints about them. They showed up when they were supposed to. They did what they said they would do. The price seemed okay. There is really nothing bad to say about them.

They were wonderful. They were very honest and reasonably priced. They respond to request quickly. They were prompt.

It was fine. It was good service and we would probably call them again because we have his number in our garage.

My garage door opener appeared to be dead. I called the company who installed it 2 years ago and asked for someone to come out the next day. I talked to Dave Sands the owner. He asked me if there was a GFI outlet because it sounded like an electrical problem. I replied that I didn't know. I didn't recall seeing that kind of an outlet in the garage. He took my information and someone did come to my home the next day as promised. The technician walked into my garage and up to an outlet on the South wall which was a GFI outlet. He pressed the reset button. Now the garage door opener worked. This took less than 5 minutes. I was handed a bill for $94.00. While I didn't expect this service to be free, I thought $94 was excessive to press a button. I talked to Dave Sands and he responded that an electrician would cost me $150. I guess I was suppose to be thankful this service cost me only $94. I told Dave he didn't mention anything about a $94 service charge just to show up at my house. He said he thought he had. It's a charge for labor, gas, etc. I said again that he didn't mention the charge when I called on Sunday because if he had, I would have called around a bit to see if I could find someone cheaper. Silence. Dave didn't offer to reduce my bill nor did he even say he was sorry for the misunderstanding. I will pay my bill but he lost me as a future customer. I'll find a company that appreciates their customers.

The technician arrived promptly when scheduled. We had been having some problems with the garage door occasionally reversing itself and it was also pretty noisy when operating. The technician was very knowledgeable and diagnosed and fixed both problems quickly and at no additional charge. This was 1.5 years ago and the door is still operating well. I would definitely recommend this provider.

On a well below zero night we heard a loud noise coming from our garage area. We searched the garage and found nothing that had fallen. The next morning we could not open the garage door and leave for work. Further inspection revealed the main garage door spring broken. We called at 8:00 AM and Shawn was here at 9:30. He installed two new springs and replaced brackets that were incorrectly installed. The previous homeowner had done a do it your-self installation of the door a 3 years ago. Shawn completed the the job in one hour despite working in below zero conditions. The quick response was a tribute to AA Garage Door LLC since on that day the "big door" companies were scheduling folks a week and half out! Fast service, good work, and a fair price did not put a dampener on the Christmas budget.

Parts replaced. Door working great. Happy customer!

I'll be a customer of AA Garage forever !!! He did not charge me, They were the company that installed it,. So it was like a routine maintenance. We had 3 inches of snow and I'm certain someone here hit the sensor with the snow shovel. Sean was the tech that waved the $100. service charge. I feel lucky that he came out.

They were absolutely wonderful. They arrived on time. They got the job done quickly. The door has worked ever since. They offered a warranty.

It went well. They pointed out issues as far as the sensitivity of the door to pressure and the emergency reverse. My door was set incorrectly and would have likely injured or killed a small child or pet.

They were able to come within 3 days of my original phone call. They showed up within the designated time and worked efficiently.

One of the springs broke on my garage door and I saw that AA Garage door service had a deal on Angie's list for this very thing. I was able to make an appointment for the day after the purchase and they showed up on time and performed the service as specified. They even put things back together after I had spent an hour dismantling things trying to fix the door before I realized it was the spring.

Originally, I ordered the tuneup thinking my opener might still work with an adjustment. The guy was a little late, but after I called he he was there within 10 min. The guy said it was broken, so I purchased a new opener. They applied the coupon value to the garage door opener price. It was installed within an hour and he even threw in a latch lock that was broken. Overall, happy to have a solid garage door opener so quickly after ordering.

Perfect. He helped us find exactly what we wanted. He gave us a very competitive price. They performed all services as promised. We are very happy with the results.

They were able to come out the day I called them but I wanted them to come the next day and that worked out fine but they were available right then and there. They're close by where I live too so that's helpful.

Changed out the springs on our garage door. Told us that the previous repair was done incorrect which caused us to have to replace an additional part. He was knowledgable and did a good job.

They person showed up on time and finished the work in about 5 minutes.The garage door works good now. I wish they checked on the oil level etc.,(The door still makes lots of noise)

They were prompt in the early AM. Quickly remedied the problem, aligned the door, and complete the overall checkup. In and out in about 30 minutes.

I purchased it approximately in December and no one returned my call. A couple months later I finally got a hold of them. A young man came out and was very nice. He said that the roller on the garage door wouldn't work because the door was too old. He said that I needed a new garage door. He said that was cost $500-600, I said that would be too expensive. So immediately he said ok I guess I could just change the rails. It just seemed like sort of a bait and switch situation. He was supposed to come back the next day and he didn't come back. So I called the company and the guy who answered seemed like the owner and seemed to blame the employee. I thought that was kind of inappropriate. So the young man did come back out and did a nice job on the rails. My problem was more with the company than the young man because I thought he did a nice job on the rails. I really liked the young man that actually did the work. He did a good job.

Excellent. Very efficient and knowledgeable.

We needed to replace an old garage door opener. I looked on Angie's List for a firm that had excellent grades. The firm with the most gardes turned out to be much higher in price that AA Garage Door. That firm had everything on an a la carte menu whereas AA included these items in its base price. First, the Lift Master openener at AA was a step up model from what the first firm was offereing. Second, AA gave you a second remote, (which really is standard), but the first firm, amazingly, had an upcharge for that. Next the first firm want an upcharge for the wireless remote that is attached to the garage to open it. AA includes it. Finally, the first firm wanted more money to adjust the door. All this was included in AA's $350 charge, making me wonder how in the world that first firm could enjoy such high ratings when it seems to gouge it customers. In any event, I was delighted with the installation by AA. The owner, Dave Sands, came out and was very helpful is getting us up and running. I storngly recommend to anyone needing a garage door opener or service to consider AA Garage Door. I think they are the best buy in the Twin Cities!
