Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List coupon for a garage door tune-up. Garage door was running a little rough and openers weren't working. I thought I might need a new opener. Much to my surprise and pleasure, it just needed greasing and a tune-up. Great work!

Description of Work: My garage door was in need of a tune up. A-1 Garage was prompt, diagnosed the probelm and proceeded to fix it. Additional parts were needed and the technician was able to get the parts and install them the same day. The door works wonderfully now.

Description of Work: I called at 8:00 and someone was out to replace the springs by 1:00. Angie's List price was listed at $169 and that's what we got. The work was completed with no issues.

Description of Work: A person stopped by, and he was punctual. He fixed the railing on my garage door by pounding it with a hammer to straighten it out. It took approx 5 minutes. After that, he was trying to find WD-40 to lubricate the door hinges. He did not have any handy. So, he gave me instructions on how to do this myself. My overall opinion is that this was a quick fix (I don't think he was here for more than 15min - at most). He had too much going on to really focus on providing "GREAT" service (ie, I would have either gone for the WD40 and come back right away, or would have offered to come back - but that's me). I will say he knew what he was doing, and I got a lesson on lubricating door hinges.

Description of Work: Replaced the torsion springs on my garage door, tuned up my garage door opener, lubricated the joints and pulleys on my garage door!

Description of Work: The company came the same day as called and accurately diagnosed the garage door opener problem. They recommended replacement of the opener and did a temporary repair. Shawn came as scheduled and replaced the opener, the rubber seal at the base of the garage door, and replaced and set a new universal instrument.

Description of Work: They put the garage door back on the tracks and straightened the tracks. Attached cable.

Description of Work: Our old garage door was sticking; it had become hard to lift and to close. Dave said he could have sold us a new door, but it would have lasted no more than two years. The cause of our door problem: because one front corner of our garage has sunk a few inches, no door can fit well until that corner of the garage is raised. Bad news, but instead of taking advantage of us and selling us a door, Dave was honest with us. He was very personable too, and seemed very knowledgeable. If we get our garage straightened out, we will definitely call Dave for a bid on a door.

Description of Work: This was for an estimate for a new single garage door and opener. They were very pleasant and professional. The price was right in the ball park of other estimates I received. I just didn't use this company.
