Excellent! Patrick and his team are true professionals. Had hardwood floors from the early 1900s. They were discolored and badly faded. After the work was completed they looked amazing. The whole process was seamless. Communication was excellent and prices were very reasonable. Would 100% hire Perrys again!

10/10 would recommend Third Gen flooring to complete a project for you. I have an incredible schedule between work and school combined with house projects I have on my list. The owner made it easy with how flexible he was and the highly skilled crafty employees that he has working for him. I have worked with and personally known the owner for years. I don’t write many reviews, but I could not sit quietly about this floor job he did for me. They work fast and hold a high level of work quality with all the jobs I have seen them tackle. Do not be afraid to let Third Gen Flooring tackle your net project!!!

The project went great. It was a big project, doing the entire floor of the house with red oak with whitewash stain. There was existing oak in the kitchen with a dark stain, which they refinished and threaded into the new oak. They got the work done on schedule, and on budget. It was all well done and looks great. The old oak was integrated seamlessly into the new. Patrick gave us some sample stains to look at on the new floor to help us choose the right one. He was easy to work with, responsive, and quite happy to address any issue we had in order to make it just right. We're thankful, for such a big job that we invested so much into, that it went how it did. They earned an 'A'

This is our third project this year with Perry's and I want to thank them for going above and beyond to help me. After Patrick and his crew finished all their work on our kitchen renovation feathering in/matching existing floor color and putting a poly coat on the entire first floor, a different contractor spilled paint on the new floor. That contractor felt terrible and tried to repair it but he could not. I called Patrick and he said they could fix it and he sent Matthew to do his floor magic and it looks fantastic. I sure appreciate Perry's, Patrick's and Matthew's expertise.

Bought an old condo with hardwood floors that were in rough shape, scuffed in some areas and with loose pieces in others. Patrick and his crew worked wonders, repairing and refinishing three rooms plus a hallway. Floors are beautiful and were completed within the time estimated (5 days). Also appreciated the less-dust process they used. Discovered more hardwood under a room with carpet and decided to replace carpet for now, but I would definitely hire Perry’s Hardwood to come back and refinish that floor too.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Patrick and his team member Matthew were - they were friendly, punctual, hard working and efficient. Our floors are beautiful. Originally the floors were very old, maple floors with a very dark stain. We removed a wall and for some reason the hardwood floor below the wall had been cut out. Matthew patched the floor beautifully. He and Patrick then came on to sand, stain and seal and it turned out even better than we expected. Wish we would have known and we would have hired Patrick to help us with some of other earlier hardwood floor projects. Would definitely hire again and would recommend to friends.

We purchased a “fixer upper” in the Summit Hill neighborhood of St. Paul. The house was built in 1921 and its red oak and maple floors hadn’t seen the light of day in decades. We considered doing the refinishing work ourselves but decided the job was too much and too important, so we contacted the company with the highest ratings on Angie’s List, Perry’s. Perry is a consummate pro who met me for the estimate, which came back slightly higher than the other two we got but we place a premium on quality, which seemed to be Perry’s priority, so we went with him. We are very happy we did. Perry, his son Pat, and their crew including Leland are artists and professionals. They exhibit a passion in what they do. They care about the house. They work hard. They’re diligent. They pay attention to details. Today after work I stopped at the house to check things out. They had left for the day after applying the first coat of poly. The floor was gorgeous. We highly recommend Perry’s. You will be more than satisfied by not just the professionalism, customer service, and work ethic, but you will also be knocked out by the final product.

The floors look awesome! I couldn't be happier with the way the floors turned out. All existing wood floors were refinished, carpeting was removed from the living room and hauled away to garbage, new flooring was installed and 'feathered' to blend in with existing flooring in the dining area, and all of the flooring was stained and sealed. I worked with Patrick and from the very beginning it was apparent to me that he's very passionate about his work. I asked Patrick what kind of finish we should go with and he steered me towards the Matte finish which I absolutely love. I should also mention that Patrick and the entire crew worked at our house while my wife and I were at work. They are very trustworthy and I highly recommend them!

Pat and his crew were incredible to work with. They made sure all of the details went right and were happy to explain everything to a homeowner that left work early everyday to check:) It is clear that they genuinely like what they are doing and know how to do it well. On top of that they started on time and finished ahead of schedule.

Excellent, Patrick did a wonderful job on our floors! I recommend them to anyone looking to have their floors freshened up and looking new again! They removed old laminate, installed flooring that matched the existing in the adjacent room, and blended the rooms together. You cannot tell where the new and old merge.

Patrick and his team installed hardwood floors for our hallway. They worked hard to make sure a quality job was done and we were happy with the end result. Patrick was very easy to communicate with and I was impressed with how quickly they got us into their schedule. We had Perry and Patrick refinished hardwood floors 10 years ago and we will use them for future projects as well.

Wonderfully- Patrick (who runs the family business) and his crew are professional, skilled and friendly. We dropped by occasionally to see the progress made, the work began on time and ended on time and the house was clean and floors beautiful when we got back home. I’ll attach some photos, but remember, we have more work to do such as painting, and more things to move back in and put away, but just notice how beautiful the floors are!

Great, Pat was very communicative & open to dialogue about the project including last minute requests. There are a few minor imperfections in the final sealant but nothing we can’t live with.

Patrick promptly came out to estimate the work. It was scheduled and he and a helper showed up on time each day. They removed the carpet in the master bedroom of our 55 year-old house which revealed a hardwood floor that was in good condition. They refinished that floor and the den's floor doing their best to keep the sanding dust confined to the rooms where the work was done. They were careful as they moved their heavy equipment and kept the rest of our house clean. They did the work on time. They used a water-based polyurethane for finishing so the smell wasn't overpowering but we stayed in a nearby motel overnight anyway. They did come back a few days later to touch up some patched nail holes in the floors that hadn't stained properly. Now four months later, we're still happy with the quality of the work.

Patrick and his crew did a fantastic job. They were very professional. They always arrived on time or called to let us know if they were running late. The work was done within the timeframe specified. Two very small issues were taken care of immediately and satisfactorially. I was very pleased with how they transitioned the new wood flooring into the existing flooring. We received other estimates and the others did not offer that kind of transition. Others who have seen the floor after completion have been very impressed with the work. I would highly recommend this company and would use them again if needed.
