Obtained 4 roof foam insulation bids. Customer service from this company impressed us from the start. Wonderful communication, advice and organization throughout. Coordinated the schedule and the work over 3 days with the roofing company we chose. Would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

Very great service provider. They went out of their way to meet my schedule, even re-scheduling to help me out. Brian arrived as promised and took very little time to hand me a quote. It was a slightly better price than other quotes I'd received. Since I have an unheated metal building, we needed a fairly warm day so that I could keep it warm with temporary heat. When the weather did not co-operate with our first plan, Brian offered to keep me in mind and watch the weather. He kept his promise and contacted me before the recent warm spell. We were able to re-schedule for a warmer day and the job went perfectly.. Steve and the crew did an excellent job on the installation. They were willing to answer my questions very promptly and professionally.

They did a great job. Also, I got estimates from three contractors, and Lewis Insulation was the only one who mentioned that we might want to consider leaving the premises for 24 hours, since the urethane foam -- while it's curing - could pose a possible health risk. All the company representatives were friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend their services.

I had several attic insulation quotes. Lewis insulation was the most thorough and uncovered several issues that other companies missed. They did a great job on the insulation and sealing work and worked non-stop while here. I would highly recommend them to anyone else who needs insulation work.

I would say it was excellent and very prompt. It's just very reliable, very knowledgeable. I like the company. They were very thorough from start to the finish and everything was cleaned up. Everything was put back the way it originally was. It was good.

First of all, the team at Lewis Insulation is absolutely top notch! Some of the nicest people I've worked with on house projects. I contacted Lewis to do some insulation of my kitchen before winter started. Brian came out immediately to look over the project and I think gave me a very fair price. We had the insulation scheduled for today and Rich came over to do the project. He drilled 4 holes though my stucco and found out the walls did have insulation in them. I had a home energy audit performed a number of years as was told I needed insulation and figured I'd get it done. I felt bad they scheduled time to do a job and I didn't need it done. I did ask Rich to look at another project, but because of the age of my house and lack of access to the area, it couldn't be done. From the first email I sent to Lewis and through the end, I could not have asked for better service. I feel bad that I didn't have anything they could do for me...because I know it would have been done correctly!

Lewis Insulation did everything they promised. Even when I expressed some concerns after the job, they stepped right up to immediately handle those concerns. I would recommend them to anyone!

We could not be more pleased. The Lewis' are super to work with. The crew that did the work were very thorough,efficient and cleaned up when all the work was completed. This was a very positive experience for us.

We contacted Lewis Insulation back in May to have an estimate done for insulating the attic. I completely lost track of time and finally called back 5 months later to see if they would still honor their original estimate. To my surprised they did, so we set a time for the work to be done. The crew of 3 showed up exactly on time and got to work quickly. They completed the job in about 4 hours and cleaned up everything as if they were never there. I would highly recommend for great quality work and a very reasonable price.

After a CenterPoint Energy Audit, called several companies for quotes. Lewis Insulation came back with a good value, answered all questions very promptly and were able to perform the job within a few weeks. The team was here promptly at 7 am and finished by 1 pm. Extremely professional. Drop cloths were put down before anyone set a foot inside and everything was cleaned and sealed up with care at the end of the job. After looking at the side-attic, it was clear that some extra work was required to get under the floorboard and make it airtight to the outside. The team dove in and did the extra work without extra charge. There are other companies that could have done a good job, but do yourself a favor and pick a company with ethics that will take care of you. There is a reason that Brian Lewis has been in business since 1975 and will continue to be for a very long time.

It turned out spectacular. The owner is very attentive to what every customer needs. I tell everyone about them. It took a couple hours to do the basement and the quality was great. The installer explained everything he was doing and was great.

We were very impressed with Brian and his crew's knowledge and expertise, professionalism, punctuality and hard work. Nancy in the office was also great to work with and very responsive, and they let us know about a rebate we were eligible for, which we would not have known about otherwise. Brian had the best bid for the work that was completed - we feel the essentials were taken care of, without paying for additional work that wasn't really necessary (as another company was pushing us to do). They did everything they were supposed to do in a high-quality manner, and were very comfortable to have around the house for the day. We will have to go through the next winter before knowing the results, but are very optimistic at this point! Very dependable and trustworthy, and we would definitely use them again.

They came out and did what they said they would. I did need some insulation in my attic, but there was an issue with the soffits being covered and I was not getting the right circulation. They were able to correct that for me while they were up there.

The two guy crew showed up exactly at 7am like they said. They were friendly and worked quickly. I was expecting a loud blower machine that would wake up the whole neighborhood but it was quiet and they were finished by 8:30.

He gave us ideas and inspected basement and attic. May use in the future. Very satisfied with the service.

Everyone that we dealt with at Lewis Insulation was very professional. Setting up an appointment for the estimate was easy, the estimate was received the same day and when we asked for an adjustment to the estimate we received it quickly. WE were able to have the work done within two weeks in spite of scheduling during the busiest time of the year. We had old batting removed and insulation blown in to bring us from to R50. The men who did the work were professional and personable, explaining what they were doing and why. They bundled up the old batting, put tarps down on the newly refinished hardwood floors and cleaned up everything. The removal of the batting was an extra that we requested and added to the overall cost. We had asked for an estimate for the entire 'roof area' that included the garage because the garage is open to the living area, so when the workers showed us that was not on the estimate we had agreed to we were surprised. We should have asked more questions. Even though the price was higher than we expected given the work done, we plan on using this company again.

The Lewis insulation experience 1) I contacted three contractors to bid on the following a) Remove the old insulation from my attic b) Apply a layer of foam insulation in my attic to seal the house c) Apply foam to a heating duct that runs through my attic d) Blow in additional fiberglass to bring my house up to R50 e) Foam my one above ground wall in my lookout basement 2) Lewis insulation was selected 3) Dumpster was dropped on Thursday Morning 4) Work commenced on removal of old insulation at 7 am 5) Attic venting was repaired 6) Removal was completed and area cleaned up 7) Foam crew arrived 7 am on Friday, work continued 8) Attic foamed, then basement wall 9) Insulation blowing crew arrived at about 9 am 10) Blowing insulation completed by about 1 pm 11) When the work was completed they asked me to inspect the site 12) Dumpster was removed by 5 pm Friday 13) Crew was very professional, friendly, and worked well together Conclusion. We found Lewis Insulation via Angie?s List after having a ?door to door? insulation guy give us a quote on some basic insulation work. The whole thing seemed fishy, so I had Brain out for a quote. He was punctual and straight-forward, and gave me a quick but detailed list of recommended services for insulating our attic to maximize efficiency in our home. He pointed out what could be improved upon, what could stay and what could go. Brain even recommended a company to conduct a test of our insulation for abnormal levels of asbestos, which we took advantage of. This was important for peace of mind, and for the future of our home since the majority of the original insulation is a vermiculite-based insulation. The tests came back with negligible levels of asbestos, which will prove valuable in the future should we decide to sell our home to avoid abatement and removal. We decided to go with Brian's quote, and things moved pretty quick from there. Nancy handled all of the scheduling and logistics, and the crew arrived at 7:30 sharp on the day we planned (right when they said they would), and got to work. The work took about 8 hours or so to complete. The crew was polite and professional, and aside from the unavoidable noise inherent to the work being done, I didn't really notice they were here. They asked questions when they had them instead of assuming, which was nice. They even fixed a previous homeowner's poorly executed stove vent job to proper standards. After they had finished, they brought me into the attic to show me what they had done, and it looked great. They cleaned up their mess and left no trace of even being there. The weather the day of the job was extremely cold, so they asked if they could come back at a later date (or a warmer date at least) to finish cutting and replacing the soffit vents, which I agreed to. True to their word, the crew came back out yesterday (10 April) to finish that work, and also to properly vent the bathroom fan and stove vent through the roof (they couldn't do this job initially because of the weather and all of the snow on the roof). That took about 3 hours, and again, very professional. Everything looks great and the roof vents function as they should. I inspected the soffit vents, and you can actually feel air moving through them, which you couldn't before. This tells me that things are functioning as they should which is great. Another great part about going through Lewis is that Brain and Nancy worked with us to take advantage of a $500 Centerpoint rebate for the insulation work, which we have already received. Nancy took care of all the paperwork and processing, and that was that. No hassle, just results. Very much appreciated! I would recommend Lewis for insulation work. We will most likely have them come out again for a quote on blowing insulation into our walls later this year. I was very impressed with them, and their price is very reasonable for the quality of work you get, as well as the peace of mind knowing that you have a crew who actually cares doing the work.

Very professional quote process. Once scheduled they showed up on time, performed all promised work, finished on time and cleaned up when they were finished. It has been an extraordinary winter in our area and although we still had some minor ice dams in a couple of areas they were nothing like those in previous years in milder winters. I believe we would have had some major damage this year if we had not had this work performed. They also provided the paperwork necessary for submission to the local gas company for an energy credit. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any insulation work.

They were careful to cover all items in basement area to make sure that spray foam didn't get on other things. They also made sure to guard the wall corners so the hose wouldn't scrape the walls. I had to leave the house while they spray foamed (due to fumes), which I knew about ahead of time. The job took about an hour. They called me when they were finished, so I knew when it was okay to return. The workers were careful and courteous.

They provided an estimate to add insulation to help with the areas where energy was being lost. The analysis was excellent and they did a really good job. They were outstanding to work with. They were polite and punctual. The guy that came was the owner and it was a very good experience.

Great price, great service. Brian and his wife are easy to work with and do what they say they are going to do.

It went well. They responded quickly, arrived on time for the appointment, and provided a standard estimate. However, I ended up doing the work myself.
