Description of Work: The installer arrived promptly the day scheduled.He was very polite and answered all my questions. The job was to add add more insulation to the attic.It was at R25 at start and was at slightly higher than R50 after completion.. |Also all the batts had to be replaced with six foot ones to accomodate the additional insulation.There was additional sealing in areas that showed air leakage.The ceiling fan in upstairs bathroom was vented through the roof per code.The blower test at end of installation showed over 11% improvement. |The entire upstairs is more comfortable and we do not feel any of the cold spots in several of the rooms we had experienced prior to having the work done.They are also a centerpointe energy approved service so we are eligible for a $500 rebate and they sent in the paperwork for us.This will reduce our cost to $1500.We highly recommend this company. | | |

Description of Work: Had some insulation blown into the attic. We were pleased with their work. They took the time to take a picture of a broken pipe while they were up there. We were totally unaware of this damage.

Description of Work: Provided a quote and schedule to repair the vapor barrier and spray the rim joice with foam insulation. There was extensive communication regarding schedule between Lewis and the owner. However, when it came time to do the actual work, Lewis subbed the work to another contractor who had a vacant day in his schedule. All work was done well and at the agreed quote.

Description of Work: Steve came out and did blown-in closed cell foam crawlspace insulation. I removed the old insulation myself, so I know that it was a nasty and uncomfortable job, and he did immaculate work- the foam looks very clean, accurate, and after a day there were no residual odors whatsoever. A+++ job. Sometimes you get what you pay for! Excellent communication from the office as well. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: Prior to closing on the sale of our home. It was requested that we do 2 |minor repairs to the home. We hired Lewis Insulation to add and repair a |vapor barrier in the lower level crawlspaces as well as bringing |insulation up to code and replacing the vent baffels in the attic areas. | |We felt the price for materials and labor may have been alittle high but |well within what our guesstimate was. The installers were prompt, clean |and cordial. They were very careful not to damage our home in any way. | |We would rehire Lewis Insulation if the need were to arise. However, we |moved to Colorado Springs and might be out of their service area. |

Description of Work: They spray foamed the rim joice area in our basement to provide better insulation and to seal any areas where rodents could get in. They removed the old insulation, sprayed the new foam insulation, and cleaned everything up.

Description of Work: Attic re-insulation and venting. Excellent prep and diagnostic planning along with pressure testing before and after. Removed all attic debrie and vent blocking. Installed internal air chutes on all rafters and packed insulation to edges. Sealed all light fixtures with boxes and sealants. Blew in cellulose insulation over existing insulation bring up to R50. Sealed attic access door and cut external soffit vents around the whole house as needed. Brian Lewis conducted a thorough inspection, quote and explanation of needs and issues. Quote was fair and no add-ons. Excellent and experienced installation team working expediently and not leaving a scrap of refuse. On time, polite, explained and reviewed process and results. Complied with energy rebate guidelines and submission. Would highly recommend the company and their work.

Description of Work: I can say only good things about Lewis insulation. From my initial call, to their free estimate, to the resulting service provided, they were responsive, prompt, polite and professional. All of my questions were answered in detail, yet in a way that was completely understandable. The service men took great care to protect the furnishings in my home and held to the estimated cost even though there was extra work that they had to do. Their work resulted in me getting the maximum rebate from the utility company. I have already recommended them to others.

Description of Work: Called them back to rectify something they did two years ago. No charge. No arguments. Took them a half a day. I think they learned something about doing a "hot roof" foam-and-board job, so future customers will benefit. | |While they were there, I got them to do an extra job of foaming a roof panel where a chimney was removed. They only charged 25 bucks.
