Met them at Woodbury Days. A sales rep. came to our house for a consultation. Signed & paid 1/2 right then. A couple weeks later the crew came out & completed the service. They were on time, polite & completed the project quickly & cleaned up their mess.

The promptly responded to our inquiry about attic insulation for the energy rebate expiring at the end of the year. They scheduled the sales call, Sam was prompt and professional, and explained everything clearly, showed us pictures and gave us various options for payment. We signed up on the spot. The job was scheduled one week later. The roll-off company delivered the dumpster right on time and the crew showed up right on time as the dumpster company was just leaving. The placed heavy plastic over all of our hardwood floors and taped it down with painters masking tape. The first thing they did after turning off the furnace and making sure all doors and windows were closed was to perform a pre-job blower door test. Then, they brought the vacuum hose in through a bedroom window (after asking permission to do so since it was on the second floor). They also brought the foam insulation machine into the foyer (again, after checking with us first) and ran the hose for that up the stairs. After all of the existing insulation was vacuumed out and placed in the covered dumpster, they placed the boxes over the can lights and spray foamed all of the openings from the house - taking pictures at each step to show us what they were doing. They then blew in new cellulose insulation to a depth of R-60 and spray-foamed the scuttle door to match. When all was done, they swept the floors and removed all of the plastic. Finally, a post-job blower door test was done with significant improvement. We're very happy with the work they did!

Salesperson was polite and knowledgeable. Work was performed in a timely manner, cost was higher than other estimates, but wanted it done right away and others were no shows.

Would have liked a better follow-up on the job. Seamed to do good work.

Every part of the home was reinsulated in the most efficient, effective way possible. Lots of problem solving - all done very professionally.

Estimate meeting was great. He was very professional and friendly. Took the time to look at everything in attic, and from outside (unlike other vendors who just stuck their head in the attic and took some measurements inside the house). He discovered a hole in the attic floor that went into a built-in cabinet in the dining room. We never knew it was there, and a lot of heat was escaping through there in the winter. None of the other contractors went into the attic far enough to see it. Gave estimates for three different levels - let us choose. Came on time for the job, finished in 4 hours, looks great and has saved us energy.

Retro Green Energy scheduled us a week after consult. They arrived bright and early and were extremely nice, courteous and worked very hard. They also cleaned up immaculately after themselves! A+++ work! Highly recommend.

RetroGreen Energy arrived on schedule, a crew of 5 men who seemed to enjoy their work. They were very efficient and did a great job.

They were very polite and professional. There were three people who were here for several days, and they cleaned up the attic beautifully. We were very pleased with the whole process. They went above and beyond what we expected.

Work was done in 1/2 day. Crew was professional, amiable and efficient. They removed a strip of siding, drilled a hole and injected the foam, patched the holes and replaced siding. They could tell that the oldest walls of the house (built in 1946) had very little existing insulation as those walls took the most to fill. Update: After our first Blizzard, it is 23 degrees, the wind is blowing at 17mph out of the NW and wind chill is 9....before having the walls insulated by RetroGreen, my NW living room floor would be 40 degrees on a day like this! I'm pleased to report the living room is sooo much warmer and the temperature by the floor is 64, only a few degrees below the thermostat setting! Having this work done was worth every penny!

They gave me a fair bid, offered me some incentives but the cost and timing did not work for me. I think the product would have worked for me but I need to take a less expensive route. They were professional and provided excellent information for my consideration.

I contacted this company after talking with two others. I was not entirely comfortable with the other two, and was very impressed with this company's website, so I called them. The owner, Chris, had outstanding knowledge of his field. The home insulation field is developing rapidly. You want to hire a company that is truly up on things and that is not easy. Chris and his company are at the forefront or knowledge, particularly when it comes to proper insulation of older homes. In fact, Chris has been chosen to provide workshops to contractors, so that they can keep up with the developments. I felt confident that he know what he was doing. In addition, he was energetic, passionate about his work and his field and the need to save money and the environment through proper home insulation. We discussed in detail the options for insulating this small Brainerd house, which is not at all a special house. I am rehabbing it to rent or sell and good insulation is my number one priority. This house had not one shread of insulation anywhere. It was the only house in the neighborhood, neighbors told me, with no snow on the roof in winter! The waste of natural resources and money over a 100+ year period is staggering. Chris visited and we settled on a plan at a price I could live with. (Please note that the kitchen and bath, which were added later and had been insulated, were not re-insulated. If heating bills are not extremely low after what RetroGreen Energy did, and a follow-up energy audit shows air coming in through kitchen and bathroom walls, I will get Retrogreen to foam-fill those areas from the outside.) An appointment was made a month ahead. The crew arrived punctually that morning and went to work. They worked hard and fast and efficiently. They left no mess whatsoever, other than the dust on the snow outside from cutting the rigid foam for upstairs ceiling. Chris gave a follow-up call to me to be sure all had gone well and as expected. The company and it's owner could not have done anything more to make me any more pleased with them. The price was good for the work performed. I anticipate that payback period will be under 10 years and then I'll be making money. I will be using RetroGreen Energy in the future on other houses in Brainerd. This is the way to go to save older neighborhoods in MN. I am not awaiting heating bills to see the difference this has made.

Jake came out to our home and took measurements on the outside and inside, went up into our attic and looked at our insulation. He explained in great detail there green foam insulation that they preform on houses without taking the walls down. Wrote in great detail the proposal that we have accepted. This company is 217 miles from my house and they put in writing a quote to foam inject the house and blown in attic insulation for under $3500
