They were the best! Very efficent and fast...maybe a little too fast. They were very concerned about making sure I was getting the best bang for the buck. There initial quote of the time they thought it would take was spot on and they stayed well within budget. We weren't as prepared as we could have been and they were great working with us to ensure we got everything moved. They didn't sit around and waste my time (as I have seen with other moving companies.) They really took pride in their work and the company. I would HIGHLY recommend them!

We set a time for them to come and give us an estimate. NO show, called promised to come the next day. Again no show and I have not heard anything from them. Figured if they could not even be courteous enough to call and show up then they would not be reliable to do the job in timely manner.

Stress Less Moving did a really good job. They were on time. They were willing to go into a bad situation, I had a bad break-up with my boyfriend and he was really being evasive as far as letting me get my stuff, there was a court battle and everything. I was hung-up on by quite a few movers when they found this out and they were one of the few people that were willing to talk to me. They did create less stress, they made it a lot easier. As a matter of fact, it was kind of a strange situation, the judge here said "you can sit on the curb while your stuff is being moved" the movers wanted me there in case there were some problems or some questions about some things. I was at the curb across the street and in 5 minutes, one of the servicemen comes out and says "I can see what you've been dealing with. They're threatening to call the Sheriff and have you arrested." I said "for what? Reading the newspaper?" Everything went fine. I talked to at least 2 other movers that wouldn't get involve in a situation like that. It was really difficult that would find a mover to help me out. They did a super, super good job. They were on time and prompt. Everything arrived in good condition. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They seem real competitive. They were willing to work around the schedule of my ex who was trying to make it difficult for all of us. I was real happy, I got my stuff back.

The movers arrived on time and quickly loaded all the furniture into their truck. They worked quickly and efficiently and handled our daughter's furniture very carefully. The furniture was off-loaded from their truck into the apartment in a timely fashion, and again was handled very carefully. We were very pleased with their level of professionalism and the care with which they handled the furniture. I would highly recommend these movers.

Our move, the first for us in over 30 years, was a logistics nightmare, with contractors at the new house not having critical work complete in time for the move requiring spontaneous abandonment of our original plan of action, equipment failure, and a general underestimation on everyone?s part (including ours) of the magnitude of the job. I am quite sure that had we gone with a standard big name moving company, the move would have been completed much faster, but we would have been left with a disaster on our hands from which we would still be digging out. Although it was, at times, difficult to get Bill to refocus and use the time available as effectively as possible (such as loading boxes and the first load of furniture into the PODS container we had rented, rather than quitting for the day after just a couple of hours when we learned the carpet in the new house wouldn?t be down until the end of the day), Bill stuck with us until the job was completely done, even coming back a few weeks after the move to put a couple last pieces into place. That, in our book, is priceless, which is why, even though some of our ratings are less than perfect, we would have no problem recommending Bill to others. Bill and his crew are hard working good-hearted, and good-natured people who made us feel they were part of our team rather than simply hired movers. They not only moved our household, they hauled away a couple truckloads of trash, and took another truckload of donations to a non-profit organization in town, saving us the expense and trouble of hiring other companies to do all of that. The entire experience certainly wasn?t stressless, but definitely less stressful than it might have otherwise been.

They did a great job with the move. However, I don't know that I would use this company again.

My impression of working with Stress Less Moving Company was very good. They just did a very nice job.

Decided a week before the move I needed help and would look into local load/unload or possibly price a more full service move. I've done two long distance and one local moves in the last 5 years and all three were disaster. And I thought I had done my homework. Still, the "highly rated/recommended/BBB positive" movers were awful. Truck delays, slow help-with limited communication abilities, and inflated pricing. All the usual things people dread. I checked Angie's List hoping for additional guidance. Found Stress Less-who sounded good and as a plus were nearby. Still, I braced myself for, well, stress. Totally unfounded. They should rename themselves Stress Free Moving--words cannot express what a wonderful experience I had. From the very first call, they were customer-first. Worked me in (a last minute/weekend summer move at that), made sure I understood the pricing (so reasonable I thought for sure there would be a catch), arrived promptly and worked so swiftly (yet carefully), it was almost embarrassing to stand by and watch. I'm a tough sell, but can honestly say this was the best service-provider experience I have had in many, many years. You just don't get this kind of service anymore. Exceeded my expectations on all fronts; I can't think of anything that could have been improved. Recommend without hesitation. If they match your needs, you will not find a better overall moving experience. It was honesty a pleasure. Who knew?

Bill from Stressless was great. The move happened on short notice and Bill came and gave an estimate the day after I called. The price was very reasonable. They were punctual, professional and efficient. I would definatley recommend their company.

They were very nice, and inexpensive. They moved a piano to my new place and put it in my garage. The next time they were in the area, said they would move it to my living room for free. I called a few places and they were the least expensive.
