This is a company that's honest and fair. Free estimates, reasonable repair options, and quality work. It's great to be treated with respect, like they value their customers. I spoke to Dean on the phone who really helped me find quick repair. The technician Brent showed up on time, explained everything needed and also what wasn't needed. He took extra time to educate me about solutions for making everything last longer too. He really knew a lot about garage doors and didn't mind answering questions. The prices were fair, and it was simply a great customer service experience. Highly recommend this company.

Darren came out on the Sunday of Labor Day (weekends extra) only a couple hours after we called. He was very professional and nice. Both springs were replaced along with a needed additional garage door support bracket.

Remotes were working intermittently. Called Garage Door Guy and Jeremy came out the next day. The remotes worked flawlessly, of course in the first visit, couldn't find anything wrong, so Jeremy checked everything else out, lubed the door track, and tossed in a new roller at no charge. Problem with remotes resumed, I called and John came out within 24 hours, I was assured that the initial service charge would be covered under the prior visit. It took a while to identify the problem, but he fixed it with a new circuit board, 2 new remotes and key pad, operating on a different frequency, as the frequency band on the original circuit board and remotes was being disturbed by some unknown interference. I thought it was a very fair price. John was very easy to work with, and knowledgeable.

Found this company on Angies list, got an appointment for this morning between 8 to 9. John showed up at 8:50, and got it fixed in exactly 30 minutes. He even tightened the springs a bit on request. Gave me a 10% discount on the quoted price, for Angies' list referral. Overall nice job done and am very pleased.

The office staff was nice and it was easy to schedule the appointment and they were very freindly. Scott called 15-20 minutes before and he showed up at his scheduled time. He was very informative, friendly, and honest. I had a feeling he would tell me we need to replace the door (it's very old). He pointed out all the issues sagging, rollers lose, springs, etc. There wasn't much he could do for a tune-up except put some oil on some of the parts since so much of the door needed new components. So from that standpoint I felt I wasted my money, but that was probably my mistake thinking a tune-up would help. I did talk to him about replacing our garage door and he was incredibly informative, not pushy and answered my numerous questions. He provide a quote, brochures, took measurements and said if I was interested all I needed to do was call the office. I asked him about other brands of garage doors and he told me what he thought and gave me facts about each one. I verified the facts after he left online and he was accurate. I'm considering using them to get my garage door replaced. The brand they use is very good compared to some of the others you get at the home stores.

Brent called and said he could be here by 12:30. He arrived, we evaluated all 3 doors and decided cables needed to be replaced on two and all of the rollers on all three doors. Nope, was not pressured - he just did as I suggested. It took him just one hour to complete the job. Absolutely superb work and an extremely friendly representative.

It went very well. We made an appointment in the morning and they gave us the window of 11-1 and they arrived at 11. They contacted us 10 minutes before arrival. Our spring was making a loud creaking sound and he was able to oil it and let us know that it didn't need to be replaced at this time. After he was done the garage door opens and closes very smoothly.

I thought their pricing was reasonable compared to other service providers. They came right out, performed a free estimate and Scott the service tech was very knowledgeable. I can't say enough about them.

Overall, I was pleased with the final result, even though there was a problem with the initial installation. The the door offered by The Garage Door Guy was about the same price as another steel door quote that I received from another company. But the specifications and construction of the door were superior. When the door was initially installed, the paint was deeply scratched for more than two feet in length, revealing the raw steel underneath. This concerned me greatly due to the potential for rust. Also, the gap between two of the panels was quite noticeably uneven. I questioned the installer about these two problems. He gave me a bottle of touch-up paint for the scratch, but said he could not do anything about the uneven gap. I called the office and described the problems that I encountered. The company representative quickly agreed to have someone else come evaluate the situation, which happened in a couple of days. The second installer had more experience and told me quite candidly and emphatically that the installation of my door was unacceptable and not representative of the quality standards of the company. He said the scatched panel would be replaced. He explained the the uneven gap was likely due to a manufacturing problem with one of the panels and offered to replace it as well. The two new panels were installed without incident a couple of weeks later. The new panels fit properly, confirming that the uneven gap was due to a problem with one of the original panels. The company representative thanked me for being patient and apologized again for any inconvenience.

I purchased a deal with Angie's List (as an exchange for a different company that wasn't responsive to schedule me). The Garage Door Guy contacted me immediately and scheduled my service very quickly. The person that came out to check my door was able to come early; he called first to make sure it was ok. He did a visual inspection and lubed the hinges. He didn't think there were any issues with my door so he was in and out within 10 minutes. Overall I thought he did fine but I'm not sure if a more thorough inspection should have been warranted.

Garage door opener stopped working. I called Tuesday evening and it was fixed by Wednesday afternoon. Had the gear wear out on the opener and the job was done very quickly.

I called on Sunday and was able to speak with someone and schedule an appointment for Monday. Scott was promptly there at the beginning of my time window. We discussed the issue as well as the possibility of getting a new door in the future. He quoted me the cost, and honored the Angie's List coupon I had as well and gave me information for a new door for me to research. The work was done in approximately 20 min. I couldn't be happier with the service and the professionalism of Scott as well with the time it took to fix the issue.

Fantastic, we have used this company 3 times in the last five years for multiple garage doors. They always are able to come out the next day, they are prompt, courteous, friendly and do a great job. They never try to oversell, they will repair when possible. This visit we had Scott he was friendly, informed, helpful, was professional and efficient. It went really well. I called at 9 AM on Saturday morning. A half hour later two guys showed up and quickly found that there was a broken sprocket. They replaced the broken part and checked all the other components to make sure things were in good order. They got it working again in no time and I am very happy with the results. I expected much more expensive pain.

I CALLED AT ABOUT 8:30 AND THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OF $180 FOR POSSIBLE SPRING REPAIR. ON ARRIVAL, JEREMY DETERMINED INSTEAD THAT I NEEDED A 16 FOOT BRACE AND TO CORRECT A FEW BINDING ISSUES WITH THE ROLLERS AND TRACK. HE ALSO DID A GENERAL MAINTENANCE ON THE DOOR, WHICH HASN'T BEEN DONE IN SOME TIME. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THE PROFESSIONALISM AND GOOD ATTITUDE OF JEREMY AND WOULD RECOMMEND HIGHLY THIS COMPANY TO OTHERS. BEST OF ALL, HE WAS IN AND OUT IN ABOUT ONE HOUR.

I called on a Monday night around 5pm after getting home from work and the garage door wouldn't open (we had been having problems with it opening/closing all the way for the past week or so, but this time it wouldn't open at all). I called and the guy I talked to said someone could come out around 10am the following morning, but they were able to work with my schedule and come out on a weekend (Saturday morning between 8am-10am) for no additional charge. The serviceman called around 8:30am Saturday morning saying he would be there in 10 minutes, which he was. He was able to diagnose the problem within a minute of getting there and looking at the opener. He said he could fix it in about 30 minutes for $150. He was spot on with the timing and the price; he even replaced a broken sensor lens (which he discovered) for no additional charge. Nice guy, accurate quote, quick service, on-time, and flexible with my schedule. Overall a good experience and I would definitely work with this company again.

Called the evening before and thought I needed a new motor for the garage door. The owner said he didn't think so and said he could probably fix it for $150. The guy came out the next morning promptly at 8am and to my delight he was able to fix it and charged me what he quoted. It's nice to have an honest company to do business with. He could have replaced the motor and charged double.
