Description of Work: They had to replace the entire garage door opener as mine was ancient. They did a very good job. It took a little longer than they said but since my garage door was as old as the opener, he had a little trouble but he figured it out and it works great!

Description of Work: I called four companies after my tenant destroyed my garage door and they were not only the first, but the only to respond. They sent a service guy out the next day who gave me estimates on both fixing and replacing the door. I chose to replace it and a week later I have a beautiful new garage door. They were fast, friendly, and efficient. I would highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Called The Garage Door Guy for a broken spring. Was able to schedule a repair for the next day. Was planning on also replacing garage door opener on the same trip. When the service person arrived he did a top to bottom review of my garage door system and noted that the springs were undersized and that my Garage door opener was still in great condition, but was set up incorrectly. He replaced the springs, lubricated all moving parts on the door, replaced the door track wheels (from metal to nylon) and then adjusted the opener to proper limits and force. Couldn't be happier with the service. It's been working great ever since. Door now lifts easily when not attached to the opener, is now super quiet and no longer re-opens when it falsely thinks that there is something stuck under the door. Total service time 1 hour and 15 minutes. Couldn't be happier with the service. Great value and honest.

Mark, the technician, was professional and courteous. Workmanship was exceptional! He really took the extra time needed to make sure the garage door track was very securely installed. Work was completed in a timely manner, and he didn't try to upsell us on additional unnecessary work. Garage door is working great now and the new opener is far superior to our previous model.

Description of Work: Garage door spring broke at 10:30 pm. The falling door destroyed the door lift. I called The Garage Door Guy at 7am the next morning. The spring was repaired by 9am the same day. They took care of the opener the next day. Great emergency service and communication.

Description of Work: I called Sunday and they were at my door at 8am on Monday. The technician was friendly and repaired everything to include replacing a cable when to the eye it didn't seem as it needed too be but he saw fraying that he knew needed dealing with.

Description of Work: My garage door opener broke. I was able to get an appointment the next day. The gentleman who came out was right on time (in a bit of a snow storm) and took great care in making sure my garage door closed tightly. I've used Garage Door Guy a few times before and the company has always provided great services. Thanks.

Description of Work: We came home from being out of town for the New Years Holiday weekend to find to our garage door opener (14-15 years old) had died. It was New Years Day so I thought I would not be able to get anything done or arranged until the 2nd. I found this listing here on Angie's List and called the number listed. Dean answered and in about 10 minutes we had a tech scheduled to show up on the morning of the 2nd. We left the opener disconnected that morning, left a check in the garage, and went to work. By the time my wife came home for lunch the new opener, control panel by the entry door, and wireless keypad outside had been replaced and all of the debris from the old opener and the installation was gone. I could have saved some money doing it myself, but from experience that is a 4-6 hour process for an amateur like me. Plus, it's about 10 degrees in the garage this time of year and I don't know when I would have found the time to go get the new opener and do the install. Definitively worth having it done by a pro. Plus, placing the call at 3PM on a holiday and having the work done the following morning was great!

Description of Work: We dented out garage door with a roof rack. Called for service at 8 AM Service tech arrived at the promised time and work done in less than 1 hour. The repair is barely noticeable and saved us having to replace the door.
