Outstanding service. I have used Electrical Solutions for a couple of projects to date. Everyone is professional, friendly and most importantly, everyone knows what they are doing.

I went with this company after reading many positive reviews on Angie's List. My overall experience was average (I'd rate it a "C.") The owner, Rob, seems to be honest, straightforward, and a good guy. He was punctual, on time, and set up the work quickly. The 2 man crew, however, was mediocre. I had a bathroom fan replaced. I was told by Rob that I could buy any size fan and it would work. I spent $110 on my fan (a nicer one), and was charged $150 labor to install the fan (which does not include the cost of the fan). In the end I was told the fan I purchased was smaller than the original (after they already had it all apart and in.) I was told I could go get a bigger fan (and return mine), or deal with a gap that showed. Had I been told I needed a certain sized fan, which I specifically asked, I would have gotten one in that size. I decided to stick with the fan I already bought, and decided I would mud and tape around it on my own to hide the gaps. $150 to install a fan that I had to do work on afterwards to look right seemed a bit much to me. During the ceiling fan install (in a living room without any light in the ceiling whatsoever), a nail came through the attic and punctured one of my walls. I was told I could putty it up myself while doing the other "fix up" job on the bathroom fan that I was going to do. I said I didn't feel comfortable fixing it, especially when it wasn't caused by me. I said "Can't you fix it, you did it." They asked if I had any putty and a putty knife and they would (which I had, but what if I hadn't?) I was charged $350 to install the new ceiling fan (fan not included). Overall, the crew was nice and fairly professional, but the price I paid for still having to do finishing work on my end seemed high. I would give the owner an A for setting up the appointment and being an honest guy, the crew who did the install a C, and the price a D. Overall, that would be a C in my book. Not horrible, not great, but too expensive given the circumstances. I wouldn't say they did a poor job, but it definitely wasn't a great job, either.

Had do to some random electrical repairs for a real estate transaction: included fixing a loose wire, changing a GFC outlet, and fixing a grommet. They also helped my to problem-solve through another situation involving the junction box. Very helpful advice, clean professional workers who were also great around my kids. I would not hesitate to use them again. Rob was especially helpful and came within an hour of when I first called him... great service!

He took one look at the new fan I bought and immediately counseled me to upgrade to a better fan. He was willing to walk away from the job in order to guarantee that I'd be happy with the finished product. I really appreciate that he took the time to educate me about fan quality instead of just putting the fan up and not caring whether I'd be happy with it. Not only is he very knowledgeable, he's also super personable. A stand-up guy all around. I'll be hiring him to put up my upgraded fan--and all my other electrical work-- in the future!

I was very pleased with the professionalism, turnaround time, and general information provided, in addition to the personable nature (and patience....answered all of our questions) of the owner. It was obvious to me, that quality and professionalism are high priorities for his business, and I trusted that the job would be done well and correctly, as it was. We had been given various other (different) recommendations for from other contractors, and when comparing them, I just got the feeling that this guy (my apologies for forgetting his name) was better educated/trained on the correct and best way to tacle our electrical challenges with installing a new fan and light in a very small and humid bathroom. We were very pleased with the new bath fan and light, as well as our interactions with his staff. My only frustration was related to the insullation dust that spread everywhere in our home due to work through the attic, and via the electrical boxes in the ceiling. We have blown insullation and it was on absolutely everything. I had to strip all bedding, window treatments, etc . and spent quite a bit of time thoroughly dusting, and vacuuming several times after the work was done. Thankfully it is just recycled paper insullation, but in principal, had I known this was going to be an issue, or if I was alerted to this when they started, I would have contained the areas that the work was being done, or at least covered things (like our baby's crib, toys, etc.) to avoid inhallation or contact with the insullation. Otherwise, we were pleased with the work and the reasonable cost of the work, and would definitely hire them again.

Smoothly and easily. We called and Rob came out the next day, replaced the thermostats, checked to make sure everything was working properly, and then indulged me by checking on some baseboard heating - which was not in the scope of the original project. I highly recommend him!

Rob was very easy to talk to on the phone and he came over to my house the same day and walked around with me to discuss what has to be done and everything he suggested. After we accepted the quote he worked with me to make sure we can get someone there to complete the work as quickly as he could to make sure he was not competing with the other contractors on space. They got behind schedule a little bit and Rob came over on a Saturday to get them back to the right schedule. They were very easy to talk to and work with and loved all the work that was completed in my house.

Nice job. Probably was a basic job but provided me with information on what needed to be done, the cost and answered other questions not related to the particular job at hand. Rob was very professional and curtious. Will call him for our next electrical issue!

The project couldn't have gone better !

Rob was great! I called early to report that a breaker kept tripping in our basement. There is a refrigerator plugged into one of the outlets that kept tripping, so we weren't sure if the problem was with the fridge or the electrical system. Not only did Rob send out Cameron to help diagnose the problem, he also came out himself to help follow up. In the end, they replaced the breaker and helped us determine what the problem might be with the refrigerator. Great customer service, knowledgable professionals, AND a fair price. A great experience. I highly recommend!

Found Electrical Solutions & Service doing a websearch for Electricians. Rob was very friendly and was willing to take a look at our townhome to see if he could give us an estimate. This was on a Friday evening. He emailed stating it was difficult to give an estimate because it was possible that the issue was beneath one of 2 driveways. However, he informed me what his initial locater fee was and hourly wage. The problem was very difficult to find and he utilized his resources to make sure he could locate where the problem was. He did not want to just start digging in the "possible" areas. This required a second day but they were able to locate the exact location of the problem and the cost was fair. They did an excellent job!! We would definitely use them again if needed.

We called Rob after looking up electricians on Angie's List. We called him to set up an appointment for the next day but he said he would be right out. It was evening so we were shocked. Rob came within an hour! He was very professional and friendly. He found our problem quickly and showed us exactly what he did. We would definitely use him again.

I called the company after reading reviews on Angie’s list. We were at our own home and told them to give an estimate; they came back after 3 days to do the job. Rob and Cameron were very professional, courteous and friendly.

It was kind of an emergency situation and he came within half an hour. He was very friendly and courteous. He was very thorough. He was very willing to come when we called. He gave suggestions and options.

Rob was very responsive and came out to bid the job the same day I called. We worked collaboratively in that I provided the component cable, data cable and vent fan/light from sources on the intranet. Rob did the installation. It is a professional, top notch installation. I would definitely use him again for any electrical or home theater needs.

I am very satisfied. The problem with the wiring was very hard to identify. I appreciated the honest observation that they did not work much with phone lines but despite that they were also able to improve a problem due to noise on my phone lines.

Rob is friendly, personable and professional! He came over, gave us an estimate on the spot and followed up with an email and phone call. He even went out of his way to locate a business card of a drywaller he used in the past when he heard that we still needed one. Once he arrived the day of service he went over again what was needed and placement. Noticing something was a little off with one existing light fixture, he investigated further and discovered that quite a few things done in the adjacent room (visible from the rough bathroom) were not to code, aka: done by a previous homeowner. Knowing these items would not pass inspection, he told us what could be done and offered to do it... FREE OF CHARGE! He cleaned up before he left and gave us a rundown of the timeline and what to expect for the inspection and finishing work, etc. He was insightful, helpful and resourceful when he didn't need to be. He was very appreciative of our business and said so. Great experience.

Rob did a great job of helping me get an extra outlet placed in my basement. He was fast, efficient and even cleaned up all of the wood shavings from drilling holes. I would highly recommend Rob from Electrical Solutions and Service for any electrical services needed in your home or office.
