When I called and set up the appointment, they did not say it was just diagnostics they are going to do; repair will cost extra. But, the technician was able to fix the problem.

The cost to transfer document and other info from my "old" desk top to my new pc I feel was a tap "pricey." In addition, I was not told by the Geek Squad Rep or Best Buy Rep that new desk tops computers do not have a built-in (internal) speaker (s). I learned about that fact on the internet and then it was confirmed by Best Buy/Geek Squad Reps when I went back to the store to pick up my new pc after the service work was done.

I was told that wires could be hidden and advised to purchase extra kits and when the agent came could not use! They actually left my home and the tv was just hanging there couldnÂ’t be used because it wasnÂ’t plugged in!

Ted, the man who worked on my computer from the Geek Squad did a really thorough job in accessing what needed to be done and he was very polite and kind to work with. I asked him to do this and that and help me get all this done in record time, and he said "no p4oblem". Ted is a very good and knowledgeable general electronics expert! I really was very happy to have Ted help me, he said he'd get all of the hardware and software that I need for my computer and home entertainment system and I trust him very much. I hope that Ted will be able to help me for a long time. It's an affordable price and very good idea to have the Geek Squad come out to your home and fix and/or connect all or any of your electronic equipment. I give Ted of the Oxnard Geek Squd 2 thumps up and 5 stars definitely! Thank you very much Ted, and Home Advisory.
