Davey Tree accommodated our request to get our trees trimmed on a very short notice. Four professional tree trimmers arrived early in the morning with tools to do the job which included included a chipper that shot the tree limbs removed into a truck and a second truck with a boom and bucket that enabled the trimmers to access difficult areas. The four trimmers climbed trees and, for the most part, used hand saws rather than chain saws to selectively remove branches. The crew was careful not to drop the cut limbs where they would damage plantings. The crew leader kept management informed of their progress and they were responsive to homeowner's specific requests. They worked diligently through the day and thoroughly cleaned up the grounds when they were through. Several homeowners commented on their efficiency and consideration.

Overall, they are a reputable company to deal with. For the most part, I am pleased with the results.

Excellent. They provided FREE estimates whereas Rainbow wanted to charge $85 just to come out. They are very knowledgeable and professional.

The crew was prompt and courteous. They were also very knowledgable, which was nice. Another likeable feature of the company was the fact that they didn't pressure us to purchase any more than we wanted. They gave us suggestions on how we could perform better maitenence for the future. The services that they provided were excellent. I would use them again in the future.

Went very well. Got pricing and product information from 2 other tree service companies, and after comparing, Davey was the best overall value. Technician called beforehand, arrived on time, very nice young man in college to become urban forester, reviewed work to be done with me, performed work to my satisfaction.

Job was broken into two phases, a warm weather day for trees appropriate to be pruned then and a sub-zero winter day for trees that needed to be dormant. Four men for 8 to 9 hours on each day. First class company with all the right equipment, well trained professionals using all the proper safety procedures. Everything was completely cleaned up and chipped on-site. Have had them back since to repair a couple of wind damaged trees. Not cheap, but it would be difficult to find a company at their level for less.

Excellent service. Good shaping of tree and advice for tree care. Cleaned up so you would not know he had been there.

I NEVER TALKED WITH THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY DO THE WORK NOR DID I EVER RECEIVE A TELEPHONE CALL FROM THE SCHEDULER. THE RECEPTIONIST I TALKED WITH WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL THE FIRST TIME I CALLED, BUT WHEN I FOLLOWED UP AFTER NOT RECEIVING THE PROMISED CALL FROM THE SCHEDULER, SHE WAS NOT QUITE AS POLITE. THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME THEY MOVED THE DISH RIGHT AWAY SO I COULD HAVE SCHEDULED SOMEONE OUT HERE. NOW, BECAUSE THEY MOVED THE DISH, AND THEY DIDN'T TELL ME, I HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE THE DISH RESET AND I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL FRIDAY 10/15/04 TO HAVE IT DONE. DEPENDING ON HOW THEY TREAT ME ON THIS ISSUE, I MAY OR MAY NOT HIRE THEM AGAIN. I HAVE 4 LARGE MAPLE TREES, 6 FIR TREES, SEVERAL RIVER BIRCH, AND OTHER TREES ON 1 ACRE OF LAND. I CAN'T DO THE WORK WITH THE TREES MYSELF SO I WILL HAVE TO HIRE SOMEONE.

IT TOOK THEM 4 WEEKS TO CALL ME BACK TO SCHEDULE AFTER I HAD PLACED THE REQUEST. THEN THEY CALLED AGAIN THE DAY THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO ARRIVE AND HAD TO RESCHEDULE AGAIN. THIS WAS FRUSTRATING. ONCE THEY GOT HERE, THE JOB WAS DONE VERY WELL. THERE WAS NO MESS AND THEY DID WHAT I ASKED THEM TO DO.

HAVE USED THEM FOR YEARS, CONSISTENTLY GREAT SERVICE, DEPENDABLE. RESPOND QUICKLY TO EVERY CALL. SO GOOD I DON'T EVEN LOOK AT THE COMPETITORS... THEY REMEMBER THAT I ASK FOR ORGANIC TREATMENTS, WITHOUT ME HAVING TO REMIND THEM.
