The hardest part was getting my spouse to agree to a style. Christina did a great job in helping us pick samples, describing the pluses/minuses, and coming to our home to give her input on what would work best. My spouse was very pleased, especially after very poor service from Home Valu and others. The installers were very professional and said we could watch them install and/or do our errands. They kept us updated on their progress, answered my questions, did their cutting outside, cleaned up after they were done, and walked us through the finished work. All-in-all, it was a very positive experience and professional job.

I have had Floors of Distinction lay all but one floor in my house. They are always professional, timely and the craftsmenship is wonderful. Even though the baseboard was not correct the first time, they made sure I received the product which I ordered, and did the install within the convenience of my schedule. Their prices are comparitable to 'big box' stores and their installation is very reasonable.

Overall, it was a positive experience. A representative came to my house to measure the same day I visited Floors of Distinction. Due to a shipping issue with the manufacturer, the installation was delayed, but I was kept relatively well informed of the timing. The person at the store (Kristina, I believe) did a great job answering my questions and following up with me when I called. The only negative was the mess left in my garage. The installer did a good job of cleaning up the kitchen and bathroom area; however, he had to cut the flooring in my garage and did no clean up whatsoever. There was a sawdust-like material covering everything. At the very least, I would expect he would have swept the work area. Besides that, I am happy with the job that was done.

The sale person was helpful and did not put any high pressure on me to make a sale.

WE HAD A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE WITH VERY PATIENT AND FRIENDLY STAFF. FOR SELECTING THE HARDWOOD, WE WERE GIVEN GUIDANCE WHEN WE WANTED IT AND FREEDOM TO TALK. THERE WAS NO SALES PRESSURE; IN FACT, WE ENDED UP GETTING HARDWOOD FOR AS MUCH AS A MID-RANGE LAMINATE WOULD HAVE COST. IT WAS STILL PRETTY PRICEY, BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT FOR THE HIGH QUALITY OF WORK. THE INSTALLATION WENT VERY SMOOTHLY. WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SOME POOR COMMUNICATION ABOUT WHAT TIME THEY WERE TO ARRIVE, THERE WERE NO HITCHES IN TWO DAYS OF WORK. THE TEAM GOT SET UP AND REQUIRED NOTHING FROM US. THEY REPLACED ALL THE EXISTING FLOORING AND BEAUTIFULLY INSTALLED THE NEW FLOORING FASTER THAN ANTICIPATED. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY ISSUES AFTER TWO MONTHS OF USE.

WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND QUALITY OF OUR NEW FLOORS. THE WHOLE PROCESS WAS PROBLEM FREE. THE INSTALLER WAS EXCELLENT AND ACTUALLY FINISHED EARLY. EVERYTHING WAS CLEANED UP WHEN HE LEFT AND THE FLOORS LOOKED GREAT.

THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB. THEY STARTED AND FINISHED ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND CLEANED UP ENTIRE AREA BEFORE LEAVING OUR HOME. BRUCE BEAUDOIN WAS VERY HELPFUL IN FLOORING SELECTION. REALLY KNOWS INTERIOR DESIGN.
