Communication was good. When delayed by weather, they let us know and came at the rescheduled time. The work was perfect. The large tree still looked full and symmetrical after he was done, and all the problem branches were gone. The other trees looked much better after trimming. They did much more than merely hacking at the trees. It was artistry. Cleanup was excellent, and you hardly knew they had even been there. Nice people to work with, too. The price was unbelievably cheap for the amount and quality of work. We shared the cost with our neighbors and they were impressed, too.

John got back to us right away and came out and gave us a bid. He bid the $1700 to remove the large tree & a tall pine tree. We decided to just have the large tree done. Did it within the week, stumped it out. They were very responsive and did an excellent job. After it was done, we decided we needed the pine tree removed and called him. They came back out & removed it for the original price quote. This is included in the $1700. We are very happy with their work and their professionalism.

The team arrived in the afternoon of the morning the estimate was given. They took down the tree taking care to not damage the boat. They cleaned up all of the debris. Additionally, John agreed to remove a branch on a second tree. The team that did the work was friendly and professional. They were very concerned about possible damage to our boat. They did a great job. One of my neighbors asked for them to give him and estimate on a very large cottonwood tree in his yard. We would hire these people again.

It was good. There was a little communication problem. We had told them to only cut the deadwood and they thinned out more than we wanted.

It was a very good experience that I had. They do great work & they were the lowest bid I received. I would use them again & I would also recommend them to anyone.

Excellent service and work from the first phone call, through the estimate, through the work done, to the billing. No hitches! No problems. I would rehire and recommend to anyone. I got three estimates and North Star had the most competitive price and the best service.

We thought the crew did a great job. They had the tree down and cut up within a couple hours. They cleaned up everything and repaired the divets with dirt and grass seed. The original bid was a higher than other bids but reasonable, and the price was negotiable. The service was better than other companies -- John came to our house and talked with us about the tree and followed up on the bid. Would hire again.

John was very helpful. He answered all my questions and gave me a competitive bid. They did the work the day it was scheduled and cleaned up very well after all the trimming was complete. He followed up to make sure I was happy with the work.

JOHN WAS POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. THE CREW DID A FABULOUS JOB. THEY WERE ABLE TO DO THE JOB THE DAY AFTER THEY GAVE ME THE ESTIMATE. IT WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE TO COME HOME TO A JOB THAT WAS ALREADY DONE. THEY WERE METICULOUS-THE ONLY THING THAT WAS LEFT BEHIND WAS A BIT OF SAWDUST.

THE FIRST APPOINTMENT HAD TO BE RESCHEDULED DUE TO STORMS THAT OCCURRED. THEY WERE RIGHT ON TIME FOR THE NEW APPOINTMENT. THE JOB WAS DONE QUICKLY, PROFESSIONALLY AND CLEANUP WAS THOROUGH.

EXCELLENT SERVICE. INITIAL CALL WAS RETURNED IN TIMELY MANNER AND ESTIMATE MADE AS PROMISED. ALL CONVERSATIONS WERE HANDLED WITH COURTESY. CREW SHOWED UP ON TIME AND WORK WAS COMPLETED AS PROMISED. CLEAN UP WAS EXCELLENT.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY WAS EXCELLENT. THE TREE WAS VERY LARGE AND IN A DIFFICULT SPOT. THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL TO PROTECT MY HOUSE AND MY NEIGHBOR'S HOUSE.

SOMEONE ANSWERED (NO ANSWERING MACHINE) MY INITIAL CALL WHICH MANY TREE SERVICES DID NOT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE OUT THE NEXT MORNING BETWEEN 9-9:30 TO LOOK AT THE TREE AND GIVE ME AN ESTIMATE. HE DID NOT ARRIVE BY 10:30 SO I CALLED AND WAS TOLD HE WOULD BE HERE WITHIN AN HOUR WHICH HE WAS. HE WAS PLEASANT AND GAVE ME A REASONABLE QUOTE WHICH I ACCEPTED. HE GAVE ME A WRITTEN INVOICE WHICH SPELLED OUT WHAT THEY WOULD DO FOR HOW MUCH. HE SAID THEY WOULD ARRIVE BEFORE 4 PM WHICH THEY DID. THE CREW WAS GREAT, VERY PROFESSIONAL, WORKED QUICKLY AND DID NOT DAMAGE ANY OF MY PROPERTY. THEY HAD THE PROPER EQUIPMENT TO REMOVE A LARGE TREE. THEY CLEANED UP, SWEPT UP, AND REMOVED ALL DEBRIS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

JOHN RETURNED MY CALL RIGHT AWAY AND CAME TO OUR HOME WHILE I WAS AT WORK TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE. HE CALLED BACK ONCE, HE WAS AT OUR HOUSE TO WALK THROUGH WHAT I WANTED DONE AND GAVE ME A QUOTE RIGHT AWAY. HE WAS ABLE TO SCHEDULE US FOR 2 DAYS LATER. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO, WENT OVER THE JOB WITH ME ONE MORE TIME AND CLEARED AWAY THE SHRUBS. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID THE JOB QUICKLY AND WERE ON THEIR WAY. I WOULD DEFINITELY CONTACT THEM AGAIN FOR FUTURE WORK.

HOWEVER, HE WAS ABOUT TWO HOURS LATER THAN HE SAID HE'D BE FOR THE ESTIMATE. HE CLEANED UP ALL THE BRANCHES AFTERWARDS AND GAVE US A DETAILED RECEIPT. I'D DEFINITELY HIRE HIM AGAIN.

WHEN NATHAN WAS CALLED AWAY TO ASSIST WITH ANOTHER AREA OF THE COUNTRY EXPERIENCING AN EMERGENCY, LUKE, AN EXPERIENCED COLLEAGUE OF THEIRS, WAS BROUGHT IN TO MANAGE THE WORK, WITHOUT MISSING A BEAT. THE ENTIRE PROCESS WAS MANAGED TO ENSURE THE LEAST DISRUPTION AND INCONVENIENCE TO ME AND TO MY NEIGHBORS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

HE WENT TO MY HOUSE AND CALLED ME, (AN HOUR LATER), WHILE HE WAS THERE AND GAVE ME A QUOTE. HE WAS ALSO ABLE TO SEND A CREW OUT THE FOLLOWING WEEK. HE ALWAYS RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS WITHIN AN HOUR. NATHAN AND THE CREW THAT CAME OUT TO DO THE WORK CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW THEY WOULD BE A LITTLE LATE IN GETTING THERE, (LATER THAN THE ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED TIME), WHICH I APPRECIATED, BUT WERE THEN THERE EXACTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND DID THE JOB WITHIN AN HALF AN HOUR, THAT INCLUDED STUMP GRINDING AND CLEAN UP. THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND DIDN'T LEAVE ANY MARKS ON THE LAWN WITH THE STUMP GRINDER THEY USED. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN AND RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY.
