Description of Work: Removed a pine tree and large silver maple and roots.

Description of Work: Last August a very large elm tree limb fell across our driveway. I call North Star and they said they were very busy but course possibly be out late afternoon. They came out within two hours and clear the driveway and cleaned up. They did a great job. This past January they trimmed a large elm in the back yard. They were very efficient. John the consulting arborist is great to work with.

Description of Work: Removed a smaller, uprooted Russian olive tree, pruned dead wood from large ash tree, pruned overhanging branches from two large Russian olive trees. This company is very efficient and competent. This is the second time I've employed them. I only wish tree work was not so expensive!

Description of Work: They removed various limbs and ground a stump. They had a subcontractor apply Tree-Age to 2 of our ash trees.

Description of Work: I apologize but this was done so long ago that I don't remember any details. But, I do remember that I was very satisfied in every way with this Company.

Description of Work: I had a birch tree removed and the stump ground out. I had seven other trees trimmed, with four that had branches over the house and garage. The trees were maples, ash, poplar and spruce. I had dead limbs removed, low suckers removed, and dead branches removed that were surrounding a cable wire. The branches were anywhere from 1 inch around to 8 inches and of all lengths. They were on time, ran through the estimate sheet to ensure all the workers understood the work needing to be done, prepared their equipment and set to work. They used heavy equipment in the back to move the brush piles to the front where the shredding machine was and to grind out the stump. The workers were respectful and careful with the equipment and my yard. The work took 4-5 hours for all the trees. They cleaned up and were on their way. I would recommend them to others and will be having more work done in the spring on other trees and bushes on my property.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with the job. The estimate was made by John a couple of weeks earlier and the work was done on November 1 and both appointments were right on time. We had a very large elm tree (70 feet) to remove with stump grinding and 2 pagoda dogwoods with stump grinding and both jobs were done efficiently and professionally. All the workers knew their roles from obvious long experience together. One of them was kind enough to replace 4 floodlights on top of our screened porch while they were there with their ladders. They were good-humored hardworking guys and I can recommend them without hesitation. I am sure there are less expensive tree service people, but our big tree was very close to our porch and a storage shed and I didn't want any accidents. North Star has a good reputation and it is well deserved, in my opinion.
