Larry did a great job. It was less than a week between the time I called and the day the work was done. He was prompt, did great work, did a nice job cleaning up.

I have been very happy with Larry. His prices are very reasonable and I can't believe how quickly he gets things done!

Had textured ceilings that needed painting in several rooms. Since the job was just a basic paint job -- no patching/repair -- Larry was able to provide a quote over the phone based on room dimensions we provided. He was very efficient and professional. The end result was great and matched the quote. Would highly recommend.

Great. Larry Forsman returned my calls promptly, came when promised to give me a written bid, showed up as promised to do the work. Job took about 1 hour. Results look sturdy. Cleanup was thorough.

Fantastic work! A quick quote led to being only 3 days out for the work. I was expecting an all day project, but Larry had the job prepared, completed and cleaned up in the span of 3.5 hours. They are the best looking ceilings in the house. I would happily recommend him and his work to anyone. If I need re-texturing in my next home, Larry is getting the call.

Larry did a great job! He was very prompt in returning my call and stopping over for a estimate. He had alot of knowledge on how to hide the many layers of wallpaper/imperfections on my walls without spending a ton of money to do so. I told him I preferred to tape off the room myself in order to save money. He understood and was okay with that. He showed up on the day of work very promptly. He was very curtious of my house and didn't leave with a mes. I really enjoyed Larry and would highly recommend him!

I had crown molding removed from the living room ceiling, only to discover a two inch band around the perimeter that had not been popcorned. After attempting to use a bucket of popcorn patch and creating an unsightly mess, I contacted Larry. He came to give an estimate almost immediately, explaining the steps he would take to do the job and giving me a clear idea of what to expect as the ceiling dried. Larry came back within a couple days to do the job. He covered doors and windows with plastic, evened out the ridges around the patch job, and sprayed the entire ceiling. When I returned from work, I had a "new" ceiling. The fumes were noticeable, but if it hadn't been winter, I imagine the house would have aired out quickly. Larry returned later to collect payment and clean up a few random popcorn droppings. He explained that working around my tall armoire and china cabinet had restricted his movement in certain areas, but he had perfectly protected those pieces.

The work was beyond our expectations. He covered some cracks and fixed an area where a light fixture had been. A contractor had told us that we would need to scrape the ceilings to repair this and the job would be costly, but A-1 Ceilings did the job quickly and patched it perfectly. A-1 saved us a lot of money by doing the simple repair. We could not be happier with the work.

I needed the work done within 2 weeks since I had out of town company coming for a wedding. Larry scheduled the work immediately for me. Very professional, showed up on time, did a great job, cleaned up completely. Found a little bubble in the bathroom ceiling after it had dried and he came back and fixed it the next day. I would definitely recommend Larry to my friends!

He did an excellent job. I didn't check around on prices because this man has been in the business for awhile and his name has been around so I just went with him.

Larry was prompt in his estimate and we scheduled the work. He arrived on schedule and even reconfirmed in advance. He knows his work and is a great choice for ceiling repair. Took about 1/2 day...single process (as opposed to others who would have to return for drying etc.) and the rooms look great...matched paint perfectly...neat and covers everything and then cleans it all up. A real professional...

I was very impressed with Mr. Forsman's friendly and professional manner and when he began the job he was all business and was completely in his element. His preparation for the drywall work was meticulous and quick which allowed him to do the necessary repairs very quickly--within about 4 hours--from start to finish.

He arrived on schedule, covered everything, do the painting, and cleaned up and gone in approxamately four hours.

Larry was great work with from the first phone call. He came out to do an estimate within hours of my phone call. He explained everything and wrote up an estimate on the spot. I didn't have to think twice, his pricing was great, he's very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. We made an appointment for the next week. Larry was out right on time and worked on the water damage. He left that to dry and when he returned, some other contractors I had hired for the following week had come out to do some work that day. Larry was very gracious about working around the other contractors when he came back. He painted the entire kitchen ceiling and was very thorough with clean-up. I am thrilled with the results - you can't see that any work was done and the ceiling actually looks better than it did before the damage. I would use Larry again in a heartbeat.

He also asked if he could help us put back the heavy items. He was excellent on all accounts.

We called Larry after finding his reviews on Angie's List. We called and he came out a couple days later (on a Sunday!) to do an estimate. He gave us the written estimate right on the spot. We called him and arranged for him to do the work about a week later. He was punctual - called and came when he said he would. The work was done in one day. The rooms look great and he cleaned up after himself really well.

Their work was very good. They cleaned up after themselves. They got the work done in a timely manner. He put plastic over everything, so the dust wouldn't go everywhere. He is really motivated to keep the customer satisfied. He came on time. I thought he was excellent! He did just what he said he was going to do.

We had a plumbing leak that caused a 2 by 3 foot section of ceiling texture to fall off. We had several people look at the problem and recommended up to complete removal and re texturing of the room. A-1 Ceiling Specialists repaired the small section of damaged texture and re-sprayed the entire ceiling for a fraction of the cost of most of the estimates. The repair looks Great. The job was done quickly and completely cleaned up in a matter of hours.

It was a complicated job because of the high ceilings. They came when they promised, they were hard working and very careful with the work they did, and they tried to get the work done promptly. The result was very good.

They provided the services described in 5 hours start to finish. The estimated cost was honored and the overall work looks great. For the price it is difficult to conjure a better solution to our problem. The texturing is barely visible on only noticeable if you knew it was there.

Came out and gave estimate for ceiling finish and painting. Gave several options and explained the pros and cons of each. Date was set, deposit was reasonable, and on the date and time set he arrived ready to go. Very efficient in taping and protecting other surfaces. Job was done quickly and while other work was happening in the house. No problems, and great work.

The work went well. The area where the water damage was looks great - perfectly seamless. The other area where the cracks were in the ceiling didn't turn out as well as I had planned. The cracks are still there, and it appears as though drywall compound was applied over the top of the cracks and then feathered outward. The cracks are lessened, but still there. Clean up was good.

Good price, generally good service. Just two small issues: for the wall painting, he requested that we use a specific brand of paint which was different than the type of paint we'd used on the other areas of our house-and we weren't able to exactly match the color. We also discovered a few small areas that were not well painted, and he returned without complaint to fix them. He and his partner worked quickly and the work was well done.
