A 1 Ceiling Specialists

Larry put the knockdown on way too thin and left bare spots after we asked to have it put on heavy. He said it would be another $450 to redo it if we have someone else skim coat the ceiling 1st, since that's something he doesn't do. Hired someone else now looks great.

He repaired them all the same day. He was a little "Old" School when it came to communications. We somehow had a miscommunication and he didn't show up the first attempt, but them came through the next time. I would hire him again because his work was good and his price was really good.

Great. Larry gave a very clear explanation of what need to be done and provided an estimate before he left. We got three other estimates and his was by far the most reasonable. Unlike the other companies, Larry;s estimate spelled out exactly what was included. When we contacted him to have him do the work, he was able to schedule the work within a week. He was punctual, completed the work in the allotted time, and cleaned up leaving no mess. The quality of his work was excellent. He was very personable and professional.

fine. Arrived on time and finished within a few hours. Only issue was a broken frame/mirror which was hit by equipment. No offer was made to replace or repair. Other than that accident, I was pleased with service.

When I called Larry he was able to come out the next morning to do an estimate. I was happy with the price and he asked if I wanted it done now because he brought all his equipment with him. Larry covered the walls and floor in plastic sheeting in to form a giant bubble and worked in there for a few hours and he was done. Turned out great. Very happy with the workmanship and Larry was very professional. I have future work planned and will definitely reach out to Larry again.

I was pleased with the outcome. The quality of the work was very good. The price was also very good. What I was a little surprised is they brought scaffolding up to the bedroom. A lot of companies for that type of work would have taller employees and stilts. There were two or three of the seams on the bedroom ceiling that I had to do some touch up work on.

Larry came and gave free, written estimate. We ended up repairing numerous places in old popcorn ceiling in very large area ceiling encompassing kitchen, dining, and living rooms, and then priming/painting with light popcorn texture. Came out really fresh and looks so much better than before!!!

A1 responded to my inquiry after about 4 days. We scheduled a time for them to stop by the house and see the damage that needed to be repaired. The next day he called back and seemed confused about why he was calling me again but confirmed the appointment. On the day of the appointment he was a no-call no-show. A1 may provide the best workmanship in the world, I can't tell you anything about that. They were highly unprofessional in the quoting process. I cannot recommend working with them.

Larry was great to work with. He and John showed up on time, and they finished in time for me to make a Dr appointment. The ceiling repair came out wonderfully. I had considered doing it myself, but I would never had this good of a result. These guys know what they are doing. They have decades of experience and it shows. Thanks guys - I have a new ceiling!

They were very personable and punctual. Their service was a mixed bag. They did a great job repairing water damage to the popcorn ceiling in our kitchen. However, they did a fair-to-poor job of repainting the ceiling, which included the informal dining room and the family room because the three rooms share one continuous ceiling. The paint job was streaky - it was very apparent where the went back and forth with their spray gun. I asked them about it and they said it would look fine when it dried, but it didn't. I was remiss in not asking them to re-do it and we lived with it for a year. At that time, we had someone else paint the inside of the house and they re-did the ceiling, at a cost to us of several hundred dollars.

Initially left email message. We received a phone call in 2 days time and arranged to have them come out and give us an estimate. We had a guesstimate figure in mind and they came in with a similar amount. It was arranged for them to come the next day and do the painting. Larry was on time, had all his own equipment and paint. He had requested a bit of preparation on our part - removing and moving furniture that would be in the way, etc. He covered everything with drop cloths and proceeded with the work. He did a great job, was very professional, and was done in record time. He did 2 smallish rooms (approx. 100 ft sq. each) in about 3-4 hours from start to finish. The ceilings look great. He cleaned up after himself and removed all his equipment. All that was left for us was a quick vaccumming and placing all items removed back in place. We are very happy with the work. We would definitely hire again and highly recommend to anyone needing this type of service.

Larry was very prompt in responding when I requested a quote. His quote was fair and reasonable. When the work was done, he and his partner did a great job of keeping the house clean, and within a few hours, had repaired the damaged patch, repainted the entire ceiling and cleaned up meticulously. He was friendly, prompt and I would definitely use him in the future, and would recommend him to others.

Very good. All work was discussed and completed as agreed to. Clean up also was exceptional.

The service was fine. They came out and did an estimate and explained everything in detail. They were able to come out and take care of the work within a couple of days of my call. Two guys came out and it took them about two and a half hours to complete the job. I would say they are professional and they do specialize in ceilings. They did a great job and you cannot tell they repaired anything.

Larry was very punctual and professional. He evaluated the area that needed repair. Unfortunately, since the area was a vault ceiling, Larry let me know that the height of the ceiling (14 feet) was an issue and he didn't have the equipment needed to make the repairs.

He came out within a day to provide an estimate and had a cancellation for the next day so he was able to do the work immediately. He did a very quality job. Our ceiling looks like new. We would definitely hire him in the future.

He did a fairly good job on the ceiling, but left some wires hanging, played loud music, and didn't clean up well.
