He did a fairly good job on the ceiling, but left some wires hanging, played loud music, and didn't clean up well.

Called to get an estimate on soundproofing. While he doesn't do soundproofing I was very impressed by his responsiveness. (we played phone tag quite a bit over 24 hours) he was friendly and concerned on the phone. My only regret is that he doesn't do the kind of work I was looking for!

Larry responded and met me at my home within two hours on the same day. Gave me a quote and pointed out some additional "patches" that he would fix as well. I could not be happier with the outcome. Job was done professionally, clean up was superb and the quality was well worth the money. Also, Larry is a real nice guy to talk to.

Larry is amazing! He did our ceilings at our previous home 10+ years ago and when we moved into our new home we knew just who to call to freshen up the place! He's now done the ceilings in almost all of the rooms in our new house and does such a great job. The prep work is amazing and cleanup is superb - we enjoy seeing him and he remembers working with us so it's like seeing an old friend!

Larry was responsive from the beginning. He came to our house, provided a quote, and was flexible with his timing. He completed th work while we were on vacation. It was a one-day, few hour process. He had an assistant and they covered anything necessary in the house so it wouldn't get ruined. He's a ceiling paint expert, so we felt comfortable with him repainting our ceilings. His price wasn't the lowest, but we felt the most comfortable with him. Larry even came back to the house to do a few touch-ups. Highly recommend.

Our experience was very good and it was the second time we had used him. He is very reasonable and very fast. He is fair and he was on time.

I returned dog-tired from an oversees business trip only to find that a squirrel had invaded my finished attic bedroom and chewed the ceiling dry wall to swiss cheese. At the same time, an ice dam had formed and two of the lower floors suffered minor water damage in the ceilings. I contacted A-1 Ceiling Specialists and Larry came out the very next day. I trusted him (in part due to the ratings here) and gave him a key to the house as I had to travel the following day. He came out over two days and got everything patched and repainted. He did a splendid job save for the repainting in one room where likely the ceiling could have used a second coat--I could (and still can) make out brush strokes. All the same he saved me from a major pickle and I was very happy, particularly for the price!

Very pleased with results. Would hire in future.

I called Larry on Monday, he came out on Tuesday to give us a bid and then, due to a cancellation he had, scheduled the work for Wednesday. He woke up with a bad cold on Wednesday so called and asked if he could reschedule. That was fine with us. So, we moved it to Friday morning. He carefully covered all our furniture and stairs and did a great job on the ceilings.

Larry Forsman, dba A-1 Ceiling Specialists, arrived on time, spent a considerable amount of time being sure our walls and furniture and floors were protected while he sprayed the ceiling, did the work very expeditiously and well, cleaned up after himself, and left. He was friendly but professional, and he explained exactly what he would be doing and why (i.e., using oil-based paint). We were very pleased. His refrigerator magnet now resides on our refrigerator door - and of course his name and telephone number are in our computers as well.

I contacted Larry in the morning. He stopped by at 6:30 that evening to provide an estimate. Turned out he does not deal with removing textured finishes from ceilings so he is referring me to an associate. He was prompt, courteous, and easily reached. I would contact him in the future if an appropriate need arose.

I called A1 Ceiling and Spoke to Larry Forsman the owner. I described the job to him and he came out the next day to look at the job and to give me an estimate. The price was fair so I gave him the okay. Larry came out a few days later and completed the work. He was professional and he did a great job! I would gladly recommend A1 Ceiling and I will definately use him again.

Larry responded quickly to my request for estimate. He strongly advised using an oil-based paint and doing the entire area rather than paint only the damaged areas. The price seemed reasonable so we scheduled the job for about a week later. He arrived as scheduled. As Larry requested, m wife and I removed delicate items from table tops, but left almost everything else in place. Larry and I moved some larger furniture (dining table and sofa) out of the center of the room to against the walls. Then he totally covered all walls, floor and remaining large furniture with plastic, creating a room with only the ceiling exposed. He then spray painted the "popcorn texture" ceiling and removed the plastic by folding it into a self-contained bundle. He helped return the large furniture to its place. The ceiling looked great and there was no evidence he had been there except for the paint smell, which has since dissipated. A very good experience.

We got several estimates and their estimate was reasonable. He specialized in ceilings. I was impressed with the speed and the cleanliness with which he did the job. He did offer us a discount if we paid in cash, but I misunderstood it and I missed it because I paid in check. His work was excellent.

We had an upstairs toilet leak into the dining room ceiling below. My husband did his best to cut out the sheetrock, tape it, and spray it using canisters purchased at a local hardware store. It always looked like a patch job. We called A-1 Ceiling. We talked over the phone about what I needed, I gave the estimated size of the room, and he quoted me over the phone. He had availability the following week. He called before he arrived, was on time, and was very professional.He wrapped the room in plastic to assure that the dust, etc didn't get into the rest of the home. He scraped off the entire dining room ceiling (12x12) and resprayed it. He cleaned up and left the room very clean. He was here and gone in about 1.5 hours. It looks brand new! Highly recommend A-1 Ceiling.

Larry's work and service were excellent. He returned my initial phone call immediately and was able to inspect the problem and give us an estimate shortly thereafter and worked around our hectic schedule in doing so. He was also great about accomodating our schedule by starting the work before 7:00 a.m. He called the day before to confirm and showed up exactly when he said he would. He finished the job in a few hours and his work was outstanding. Ceiling repair/painting can be messy and he left absolutely no sign that he had even been there. His final price, which was exactly what he estimated, was very reasonable -- excellent value. Larry is also just a pleasant guy to work with. He's my guy for all future painting/drywall/ceiling jobs.

The estimate received was well within the price range we were expecting. After hiring and scheduling, Larry arrived and covered our living room area then repaired the ceiling cracks and painted the ceiling. We are very happy with the results.

Larry was professional throughout the process. He came by soon after I talked to him, checked out the project and gave me an estimate and said he could do the job within my time constraints. He called to remind me the night before, arrived on time, completed it in 1 day as discussed and charged the estimated cost he gave me. It's so great to have the bedroom back and it looks really good. He did leave a small amount of plaster in the room where he cleaned up, but we had a lot of limitations on available sinks and water that day so I wasn't really unhappy. I would definately use him again.

Son flooded our bathroom and causing water damage in the dining room over 1000 sq ft to be repaired. They came out gave an estimate I was at first surprised how much cheaper they were. Hired them after a couple of phone calls to confirm the scope. They did everything and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them again to friends or anyone wanting these services..

I found them off of Angie's List. The job went great and I'm thoroughly satisfied with them. I liked their speed and value.

Very nice owner. Price, punctuality, very good. Quality was not what I expected from someone with a 5 star rating. I was told I would get 2-3 coats but many areas did not get a 2nd coat and I had to call them back. The company came back and repainted but I'm still finding areas that were missed. Disappointing.

He came on time, worked quickly, cleaned up, and everything looks beautiful. It truly pays to hire someone with experience and all of the best equipment to do the job.

We neede to have a hole in our ceiling fixed quickly due to having some showings (our house is on the market). Larry was quick to respond and stated that he could come out the next day to fix the hole. He did very good work. We couldn't even tell that he had been there other than the hole was fixed.
