Excellent - Josh was well prepared with all materials and tools. He worked quickly but did a quality installation.

The two echnicians who arrived were very courteous and thorough in explaining the process to me. They made their assessments of where the best location would be for the pipe to be installed for optimal effectiveness of removing radon. The choice they thought would be best was not the easiest configuration for them to install, however that didn't stop them from recommending it and implementing that plan. The pipe would come out of the mechanical room through its ceiling into the corner of our entry way closet into the attic and out the roof top. I was warned that the tile in the closet could potentially shatter but the technician took great care in marking, drilling, and carefully cutting in such a way that nothing shattered or even cracked. The pipe is positioned beautifully and the fan motor is in the attic of our entry way closet. My initial concern was that we might hear the fan running but it has been a complete non-issue since the installation. I was impressed with both of the technicians' knowledge, professionalism, and thoroughness. The areas were patched up and cleaned up well. I do not hesitate to recommend them to neighbors and friends and I will use them again for different properties.

Showed up when scheduled, informed me about what they were going to do, cleaned up after themselves, and charged exactly what they quoted. I just contracted them to do my lake home. One of 4 contractors I met with to get this project done - clearly the most professional.

Josh and Mike were prompt and very professional. They explained what they were going to do and the possible options. They did the job in half a day and cleaned up very well when they left.

We purchased a new house in the fall. The previous owners had tested for radon which came back ~9.0. Radon Removal installed a mitigation system in the basement which brought the level to ~3.9. However, this was in the summer, when levels tend to be lower than at other times of year. I independently retested, and the level came back 4.2. Randy (with Radon Removal) had guaranteed the work to bring the level under 4.0, thus I contacted him again. He installed a second pipe to connect to the existing pipe & fan for $350 (this was stipulated as an option in the previous owner's contract). Upon retest, unfortunately the level remained roughtly the same ~4.1. The next step was to install a second system. Randy decided the second system should target the slab-on-grade portion of our house -- and it turns out he was right! This brought the level to ~0.6, almost outside levels. Only charged $100 for the second system. We are MUCH relieved with this and brings much peace of mind. Our house was a difficult mitigation, but eventually it all worked out, thanks to Randy and his team. Highly recommend.

Josh and Mike were very professional and punctual, efficient and informative. They worked in below zero weather outside for a few hours with no complaint.

Our mortgage almost fell through because of a mix-up with radon test results. We were given a short contingency to bring the tested level down from well above 5. I called around and couldn't find anyone able to do the work on such short notice. My realtor called in a favor from this company and we went with them. The initial conversations and scheduling were smooth. The day of, my mother-in-law hosted the installers and spoke extremely high of them. They completed the work within the scheduled time and everything looked great when I got home. After the work, the test came back way lower than I thought possible. Great work all around.

Both guys who came to the house were very professional and discussed everything that would happen before they started work. They kept me informed of any changes as needed. They were both quick, and cleaned up after themselves. Randy was also very professional and pleasant to work with. I only spoke with him on the phone, but you could tell he was organized and truly cared about what I wanted.Great service.

I got a quote and they showed up and did what they said they would do with no hassle. The guys were friendly and explained everything. Randy, who did the quote, was also friendly and answered questions. The only possible negative was that they took over a month to schedule the job, but as I have been in my house for 19 years and just go around to it I couldn't really complain. They are so busy because of the new house purchase rules on radon mitigation they can't even take on all the jobs that people call them about.

Very well, the Technician were very professional there knowledge about the install and trouble shooting of job impressed me. There Organized truck and overall look inspired confidents that the job was in good hands. They cleaned up after the job like they were never there.

We contacted Radon Removal, Inc. to provide us an estimate for to mitigate the high levels of radon in our home. They responded promptly with a estimate and we retained them for our work. Josh and Mike reported on time, explained what they were going to do, performed the work professionally and cleaned up after they were done. Everything went as expected and the follow up test that they provided returned results well below the recommended minimum levels. We would recommend them to anyone who needed their services.

In the process of selling my home, a home inspection revealed that we had slightly elevated radon levels. I reached out to two radon mitigation companies. One company didn't return my call; Randy Weestrand got back to me promptly. Over the course of a few phone calls and a little bit of time, Randy gave me a written estimate of the work and assured me that his team would have the system installed prior to our close date. Because he did the estimate over the phone, he asked lots of questions and referred to online photos of my home to determine the correct installation. Randy was detailed in his questions about my home and the layout. His questions made me comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and I felt confident accepting the bid and going with his company without a second estimate. He promptly emailed me the estimate, which was fair based on my research of the range of costs I might encounter. As promised, within a couple of weeks Randy called to schedule the installation. On the installation date, his installers arrived promptly, and were polite, efficient, and tidy. The installation was as promised, the cost was what Randy estimated, and I am very pleased with the work that Randy and his team completed.

On time, professional, over the phone estimate with quick turnaround. Our home had a few challenges installing radon irrigation, but it all worked out.

Great. I called two months in advance because I was not in a hurry but I wanted it done by spring. Randy said that since I was flexible, he wanted to do the install in my home when he was already in the area installing at another home. He did not have another client in my area lined up yet but would call me with a week's notice when it would happen. I said fine. The process was explained and Randy asked me to send him my address so he could check arial maps to determine the best place to put the external vent. He sent me a quote a few days later and I signed a document agreeing to do have his company do the work at the rate quoted. His team showed up on time around 11am and went right to work after we had a quick chat about placement in my basement. I think the process took about 3 hours or less. The work was professional and they were very tidy.

Great it was clear we were with someone who was experienced and well trained in issues with radon took time to explain the process, the need, and how he planned to do the venting process. The outstanding component for us was the extreme care they took to cover carpets and completely cleanup any mess. We can't recommend this company too highly. They were awesome.

It went exceedingly well. We talked with the owner about radon abatement and found that he was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. The nature of the work that would be completed was explained to us very well and completely. On the day of service the team arrived promptly and went right to work getting the abatement done. Their care in protecting our carpet and furnishings was very much appreciated. There was virtually no mess left to clean when they left. We are highly satisfied with the work, the communication and the thoughtfulness afforded us as clients. We were very pleased with this company and have already let people know they are a company that can be trusted to do great work.

The crew (Jason and Pat) arrived precisely when expected. They performed the work exactly as expected, kept us informed of progress and were very care full as they worked through out the house. Excellent cleaning.

Randy was extremely accommodating with scheduling, very responsive and priced very reasonably. Pat installed the system efficiently and left everything very clean and tidy. Exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.

When I called, the guy answered immediately and explained that they were very busy, and that they prioritize people based on whether a house is going to sale, how long people have been waiting, and the location. He said the wait could be around four weeks. Next, he asked some questions about my house and said he'd look up information on line to get me a quote. I also volunteered to email him a quick sketch of my house. I did that and got an estimate for $1315. About two weeks later, they called to set up an appointment for the following week. Two guys showed up exactly on time and were finished in a little over two hours. They were very efficient. I asked them to try to put it as close as possible to the furnace, and they did that and routed the piping so that it was out of the way and looked like it was meant to be that way. (They also noted that sometimes they can't put it where you want because they have to ensure that they're getting good enough suction underground.) They tested the suction by drilling holes in the corners of the basement floor. Once the system was working, they sealed the holes. I asked them to route the system through the attic and they were able to do that by installing the piping inside of a closet. There was a shelf in there and they recut the shelf so it would fit around the pipe. I could not hear the system upstairs even though it's a one and half story and our bed is right next to the area where the fan was placed on the second floor. However, I can hear the sound of air moving outside when sitting on the patio when there's no other noise. They installed drop clothes in the places where they walked a lot. They tried to clean up relatively well after themselves and they did a decent job, but there was a little more to clean up. I think that's inevitable when you have to go in and out of the house to so many times. I'm very happy with the job they did. The finished job is basically hidden from view. Follow up: They started a Radon Test immediately after finishing the job, and it was 0.9 (from about 3.2 to 2.8 previously). I thought it was odd that they started the test right after installing the system because there would likely be residual radon that hadn't dissipated yet. Because of that, I did a new test the following week, and that result was 0.3 -- basically the same as the outdoor air. I'm obviously very happy with that result.

I called this company after doing a Radon test in my home. I placed a second call a few days later and also tried to contact them by email from the contact information listed on their website. I never heard from them and still haven't to this day. I called another company and heard from them within 48 hours as it was over a weekend. I ended up going with a local contractor to do my Radon mitigation.

Gave me a price over the phone, as I was in NV did the job and retested and had to come back to adjust the system, the retest was 1.1 he guaranteed the job so there were not extra charges to me. That was refreshing that someone will say what they will do and do what they say.

I requested a quote from Radon Removal, Inc. in October 2012; as of January 2013, I have yet to receive a response of any kind.

Services went well. They showed up when they promised. To protect the floors they laid down drop cloths. The work was done in a neat and professional manner, and there was no clean up on my part. The testing returned good results after the services were completed.
