excellent. It took weeks to finally get the crew out here. But once scheduled the crew arrived on time and presented well. They communicated through the process and left the job site looking good. Just waiting on the test results from the post mitigation kit. But, I am favorably impressed.

The entire process went very well! All representatives of Radon Removal Inc. were informative, professional and focused on customer service. Randy provided detailed information during initial phone calls and Chris explained the whole installation process and fan location options during the onsite proposal visit. The installers, Josh and Mike, were prompt, explained the process and got to work quickly finding a suitable location and installing the system. They used drop cloths to protect carpeting and cleaned up very well. It took them a little over 3 hours to complete. Their workmanship on the fan system including the roof venting was excellent. The fan was mounted in the garage attic and cannot be heard from inside the house. The radon level dropped from 5.6 before the system to 2.0 immediately after the install.

The estimate went well. The guy I spoke to seemed very knowledgeable. I've called a few other places that deal with radon and have not decided which company to go with yet.

It went great. From my initial call, to follow up calls and installation, everything was professional, friendly and efficient. I was impressed with the installers. They did a great job. We got our post-installation test results back and the radon problem is now solved.

Installation was completed in less than 4 hours by Josh & Mike. Some other service-providers will be able to beat these guys on price, but this is a good company given a fairly-reasonable cost for speedy, high-quality work.

My wife and I contacted Radon Removal, Inc. to install a new radon mitigation system in our house. I cannot say enough good things about this company or the service they provided. Randy took the time to answer all of my questions over the phone to make me fully understand the process and granular details before we committed to the install. Then, once we agreed to go with their service, Josh and Mike installed the system. They were both professional and courteous, kept the worksite clean and were very hard workers. The job took a total of 4 hours to complete, but left with clear instructions as to everything the did, how the system works and what to do if any warranty issues were to arise in the future, however unlikely. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with how precise and exacting their work was, both in routing the plumbing of the system, and how unobtrusive they made the system appear in our house. We are still awaiting the results of our followup radon test, but can easily recommend the guys at Radon Removal, Inc. for a truly outstanding job, start to finish. Bravo!

Since I had already hired another company (also suggested by Angie's List), I did not hire this one. However, given their responsiveness and professionalism, I would definitely recommend them.

We agreed on date for removal. Josh and Mike arrived on time and consulted with us about different options. We were pleased with their efficiency and cleanup. Radon level is now at 1.

We got 3 quotes with 3 different solutions but the one presented by Radon Removal made more sense. Chris, who came over for the estimate, not only walked me through the entire process but also answered all my questions. He told me that a radon mitigation system might also help with the basement smell and I am so happy to say that he was right. I have a sensitive nose and each time I would go down in the basement I could detect a certain smell. My husband couldn't smell it but I could. A few days after the radon system had been installed the smell was gone. Josh and Mike, who came to install the system, were very professional and I couldn't believe they were able to finish everything in only 3 hours.

They were super responsive (performed the work 2 days after I called). They gave me a quote using a few pictures of the house and blueprints. I was very impressed with their knowledge and their eagerness to walk me through the process. The installation was super easy and they even helped modify some shelving that I had in the garage. Our radon level went from 9.5 to 0.8, which was great. Overall great experience and would highly recommend.

Great! I was impressed with the attentiveness and professionalism by Randy and Chris throughout the entire process. There were no surprises and the outcome of the work is what I expected, and more. I wasn't aware that a radon mitigation system also removes the musty basement/house smell. Our house (built in the 60s) started smelling much better within a day! I also thought the cost was very reasonable, considering we are removing very dangerous gases that harm our family. I highly recommend this company!

The estimate and scheduling were OK. The installer's seemed knowledgeable, polite, and cleaned up after completion. Unfortunately the installation of the sump basket cap resulted in them breaking several seals on the PVC discharge system. There was a kink in the tubing to the reader gauge which is supposed to show that the attic fan is functioning properly. Radon Removal, Inc was notified and a family emergency kept us out of town until November 2nd. A series of four additional e-mails or voice mails occurred during the following month. Finally the repair was scheduled. Two installers showed up and were done in less than ten minutes. We appreciate that this business is really busy, we have run a three day test and the radon levels are safe now. however. We do feel that they did not respond in a timely way to the very simple problems that they caused during the installation.

They did a very good job on a difficult install. They had to drill through the garage floor and rim joist to run the 4" vent and did a very professional and nest job. The net result was a reduction of radon from 8.8 to 2.7

The starting reading done by the house inspector was 7.1 - Very high. So we agreed to do the remediation because it really was a dangerous level. Chris came out to estimate the job within a day from our call to Radon Removal. He spent about 90 minutes taking measurements, checking the possible paths for the piping and coming up with a plan. Randy Weestrand, the owner had an estimate within 24 hours. It seemed a little high, but we were able to get the job done quickly (within a week) AND the 5 year guarantee transfers to the new owners. The Job was wonderfully done, and out of the line of sight of gathering areas, Plus we got a new radon reading. of 1.4. If Radon Removal hadn't accomplished their goal, they were prepared to install blowers and fans at no extra charge. Pretty Impressive.

Chris was one of three companies that I had come out to estimate an installation of a radon mitigation system. Chris was the most complete of the three looking at installation options the others didn't even consider. The estimate was turned around within 24 hours and very competitive and offered options again, the others didn't provide. Because of all of this, we felt most confident going with Radon Removal. Randy kept in contact with us for install and Josh and Mike were very punctual arriving right on time for the install and went right to work. They were very clean laying down drop cloths as well as doing a great job cleaning up. They did a nice job keeping us in the loop during the process and briefing us afterward. Our radon levels went from a 6.5 initially to a 2.6. We are very happy with overall with the project and would recommend this company to family and friends.

Randy, Chris, Mike and Josh were great. Chris was very thorough and covered all questions throughout his visit. The pricing was reasonable and installation by Mike and Josh was quick and seamless. They left the place looking better than how they found it.

Great work. The guys were on time, carefully discussed where to install everything, and kept me in the loop the entire way. Once they were finished, they went through the entire system with me, explained how it worked, what to look out for, and when to call if I saw trouble. The system is working great, too! The initial test after installation showed a drop in radon (which wasn't high to begin with) by 780%!

They were very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. Someone called again in a couple of days with detailed questions for me about our house. They were able to design a plan just from the information I gave them over the phone, and emailed a proposal with costs right away. Once we decided to go ahead, they were out within 1-2 weeks and had the whole thing up and running in a day. They spent time at the end going over how it all worked and what we did/did not need to look for. The whole process was about as painless as could be and is working great. Would recommend Radon Removal Inc. in a heartbeat to anyone!

Working with this company was easy from start to finish. They got in touch with me quickly, explained their entire process thoroughly, showed up when they said they would, did exactly what they said they would, and left me not only with a system working as designed but also it was integrated so well it looks as if it's been there forever. Randy explained the process in depth and walked me through all of the installation and scheduling choices. It did take about 6 weeks or so to get the job scheduled, but that's exactly what he told me his backlog was so it was not a surprise. Mike and Josh showed up the morning of the install and quickly assessed the site. They went over various ways they could route the system, and we worked through the options together to come up with the best route (which ended up being through a hallway closet in my one story house). They got to work and finished the job in about 4 hours, just like Randy said they would. They then walked me through the system components and operation and answered all of my questions. They cleaned up completely (honestly, they may have left it cleaner than it was to begin with...) and the system seriously looks like it's been there forever. Even where it passes through the hall closet, the cutouts in the floor, ceiling and shelves it had to go through were done so neatly. The system is silent unless I'm standing in that closet right next to the pipe. The work in the basement floor and sump well is very neat. The vent pipe is discrete on the roof. Most importantly, my post-install basement radon levels are at 1.1. I'm a very happy customer and would recommend them to anyone who needs this work done.

I would highly recommend Radon Removal Inc for your installation of a Radon Mitigation System. I spoke to over 5 other companies on the phone and in person and was impressed with the background and knowledge of the Radon Removal staff. Additionally I feel the system they put in place is built to last as they do not take the short cut of building their system directly into the sump bucket. I would highly recommend this company and refer them to others!!

We had looked at three proposals and Radon Removal Inc. had the best layout. When Josh and Mike arrived to do the work they explained what they were gong to do and they were clear in the explanation. They were very efficient and neat and cleaned up after themselves. When the job was complete they explained how the system would be working and left a card on who to call if we had any questions about the system. I would have both men do the work again if I needed work done. The results have been exactly what they had told us to expect.
