Larry was thorough and very kind. Due to a recent devasting medical diagnosis our circumstances are dire. He was very understanding and gracious. He promises he will not be kind to the mice! He assured me I did not have to take mice out of traps, he would do that, I don't love doing it but did it anyway. For anyone who hates it, don't worry he will take care of it!

Larry was responsive, friendly, and professional. I was so impressed that we sought him out for another job which entailed mice and roach elimination. He far exceeded already high expectations and I was even more pleased than before. I would recommend Blackhawk Pet Control to anyone and everyone needing exterminator services!

After the first setting of traps, he caught 6 shrews and a common house mouse. He left a paper with this progress slide into front door. Let us know the second cycle that he didn't catch any more. However, he set traps one more time. He explained that shrews are solitary animals so we could be pretty confident that the problem has been solved. I would call him without hesitation if we need to in the future. Very professional

He plugged holes in the house and put mousetraps. The traps failed and no mouse were caught. He came back and tried more traps. The traps still did not work. After that he stopped answering the phone. I left him numerous messages but have received no response. Update on November 10 2015: I am not disputing that Larry did all this work. There are two problems: 1. There are still mice in the house. Just yesterday my tenant saw one. 2. I have left multiple messages on his phone voice mail with my phone number and he has not returned any of my calls since mid-October. My tenant has also called and left multiple messages with no response. To me not returing phone calls is not acceptable for a Angie's List supplier. His claim that he had no way to return my calls is not true since I left him my phone number on his voice mail. Update on November 12, 2015: I hired another company to come and correct the problem. They found that mouse holes that Blackhawk had missed. These were plugged to prevent entry of mice. Clearly Blackhawk did a poor job. Since this company promised to keep working till the problem was resolved, the company is not fulfilling his part of the deal. I am now having to hire another company to come and fix the problem. I made the purchase of this service from Angie?s list on your web site. Since the work has not been performed and I am hiring another company for the job I would like a refund of the money I paid to Angie?s list.

Larry was great. Very accommodating in timing. Very professional in dealing with our rodent problem. Great help.

Other than being 15-30 minutes late each visit the service was excellent. He was very nice and put up with my dogs which were very annoying. As we walked around the house I asked a ton of questions and he explained what he was looking for and why and how it might let mice in. He found 2 entry points and one possible entry. He filled all 3 with copper mesh. After that he laid traps all around the basement and in the kitchen above the stove (where we were seeing most of the action). Before his arrival, I was catching 2-3 mice per day for almost a week. Afterwards I caught three in the traps he set over two weeks and haven't noticed any signs of mice since.

It went great, he showed up on time, very nice and easy to talk to. He found all the spots that they were getting in to, filled it up and set traps. We'll see him again in a week.

Although this provider wasn't available any time soon to do the job I requested, he responded to my email. My experience with other providers has usually been no response at all especially when they are not available. I will definitely think of this provider in the future.

This was a much better deal than other, similar offers here. The business owner was determined to continue sealing off every crack and keep returning to the traps until our house was completely mouse-free.

Great service! Very professional, came back for an exterior treatment without us asking. No spiders or centipedes in our home that previously had a huge problem, and outdoor wasps and spiders were GREATLY reduced. Will continue to use in the future!

Found 4 possible intrusion points outside our home and sealed them shut. He set a bunch of mouse traps all over the house...basement, laundry, kitchen, anywhere we had seen/caught mice. All in locations that are inaccessible to my children, so I really appreciate that. While placing a few traps under our kitchen sink, my 2 year old thought it would be a good idea to kick him...so very sorry about that and thanks for being understanding. The only problem was that he could not get to my house through all the road construction and I had to guide him in by phone....not his fault (there are 3 main ways to get to our house and 2 are completely closed), that's what you get this time of year. He stayed late to complete the job.

Larry helped us remove a family of grey squirrels from living in our eaves. He set live traps in 4 different locations. We gave them a few days and although they were not caught in the traps to be relocated, the eviction was successful, as they left of their own accord. Larry came back a few days later and closed up the hole where they had been entering the house. Very successful, as no further noise and activity have been heard. Will definitely use again. Larry was very prompt replying to my inquiry. We set up an appointment quickly and he was friendly and professional when he arrived at our home. I thought he was very reasonably priced.

Came out and set traps, and inspected house. Patched up a few holes that might of been letting mice in. Also took care of a swallow nest near our entry way that was on the second story at no extra charge. Followed up a bit later and re checked everything. would use again

Larry was the provider. Two inspections and applications. Arrived right on time. Was very thorough and professional. He was informative and personable. House was unoccupied for some time before we purchased it last month. Larry set traps, sprayed for insects and inspected access points. Very good investment on our part. He will return for a fall inspection and then again in December. Definitely recommend Larry and provider.

After catching nothing, it was determined the critters in the walls were most likely bats, which are a protected species. The recommendation was to wait until it got warmer and watch to see where the bats were entering/leaving from, then seal up that area after they left at night to go feed. My brother and his wife are no longer hearing scratching noises in the walls and are content to know they didn't have a mouse infestation.

They were good. They were very punctual.

Chipmunk was caught in trap. However, how it got in was not completely researched.

Had appointment set up for him to come and check traps. Did not show.

Quite literally some of the best service we have ever experienced. Honest, down-to-earth, professional and super-courteous. He was very accommodating to our schedule, and we have not had any mice since our service. We will be using Blackhawk for all pest services going forward.
