 + -1 moreWe had lovely man come to our house to give a 2nd opinion on bats and if they were the cause of what we were hearing. He, like the first company, did not find evidence of bats, but was the only company to not want to charge us for bat remediation. They are coming back for hornet work, but I deeply appreciate their honesty and truthfulness. They will get all our pest control business moving forward. Could not recommend them highly enough.
Description of Work: I do think that the service of checking for bat evidence is a service. While they did not remove any bats, because they didn't need to, they are coming back to remove hornets, which are a problem.

 + -1 moreThey were to seal the house and rid of mice. They checked the exterior of the house set traps in the attic and promised to return in a week or two. They never came to check the traps. We still have mice there has been no change. Over the next three months I text twice (which showed as read) and an email with no response. They advertise 100% satisfaction guarantee. but will not respond to my text. They have been paid and we see NO results.

Both times Blackhawk responded and was out to do the job within 2 weeks. Did an excellent job each time and the price was extremely fair; far better than any other bids I have ever received.  + -1 moreI did hire him again! First used Larry 3 or 4 years ago with great results. Saw a mouse and some poop again, and called him back. He found a place outside where some material plugging the hole around my AC hose had been disrupted during my summer landscaping. He plugged it, set traps, and came back on a weekly or biweekly basis until no mice were in the traps. I hate mice, and he made sure the traps were where I didn't have to look at them, and my dogs couldn't get at them.

 + -1 moreLarry was great, he sprayed for bugs (mainly spiders) and took care of the pest problem - located how they were entering the garage and blocked the entrance so that no more could enter. He returned weekly until all the ones who had gotten in were removed! I would definitely recommend. This is the 2nd time I have contacted him and both times were excellent, I will defintely be calling him again for my next bug spray.

 + -1 moreLarry will inspect the house outside and in the garage to find where their entry points are and seal them. Inside, he will set multiple traps and come back weekly to empty and reload until no more little critters roaming around the house. Larry is great, easygoing, friendly, and a competent professional. Do not hesitate to use his service. I will be a customer of his as long as he wants me.
Description of Work: I have used Blackhawk Pest in the past (around 3 years ago), so when my little friends returned uninvited in the basement, I did not hesitate to call and use Larry's services again. I will probably start to do a yearly service with Larry to do home inspection of where the little buggers (mice, shrews) get in. Larry is very good at finding where these little guys are getting in and they are clever little buggers indeed. Once they get in, they can smell where they got in before, so they look for new ways to get back in.

 + -1 moreThe mice were gone with a day of his outdoor traps. We never had a mouse set a trap in the basement. The stink and other residue from the vermin was eliminated.
Description of Work: We sometimes suffer from mice in the basement during the fall. Larry, the owner of the Blackhawk came out within a a few days of our call, diagnosed the problems and got to work. He spent the time examining the perimeter of our home, set traps and calked trouble entry points. He then set a slew of traps in our basement.
