Description of Work: They started by inspecting and sealing possible entry points on the exterior of the house. Then he set traps and empty them weekly until there were no more mice caught. I believe he made 4 visits with no additional charge beyond the advertised rate. We would strongly recommend the service provider to others.

Description of Work: The man who came spent time with me really listening to my description of the problem. He was on time, he was personable, he went out of the way to cover all areas of the house so that we could really get rid of the little field mice we have in our home. Included in the service is his return visit two weeks later. (this week) There is also a year long warranty with the contract, which I find excellent, and makes me feel he is really committed to eliminating our problem.

Description of Work: I purchased the pest maintenance package which includes 3 visits. Larry was very knowledgeable, was on time, and was able to stop by the day after I called. We are dealing with carpenter ants and after spraying, the majority of them are gone, and I expect the rest to be gone shortly. I really like that he will come back for free to follow-up on any pest issues. Looking forward to the next appointment this fall!

Description of Work: I purchased a year of treatments. So far I have used two of them and have been happy with the service.

Description of Work: Checked out the outer perimeter of the house and found a couple of entry points for the mice. Plugged them and set traps. Returned a week later, removed the rodents and reset the traps. Returned a week and a half and did the same. 3rd time out, no mice! We are truely thankful and relieved to have this done. He was great, helpful, informative. Highly recommend him.

Description of Work: Sealed areas on the outside of my home where mice could enter. Set traps in areas inside where mice move through the house. Trapped mice and rid my house of a mouse problem.

Description of Work: We had mice in our basement. Larry made a very careful trip around the exterior of the house and plugged up all of the entry points. He set a bunch of traps in the basement. He came back several times to check on the harvest and reset the traps. We haven't had seen any mice since. | |Larry really knows what he's doing. We highly recommend him if you have mice coming into your house. We could not be happier with the results.

Description of Work: While my son is spending some time overseas, I am the contact person for the tenants in his duplex. The day before I left for a trip to Australia I received a call from one of the tenants about a problem with mice. She had tried mouse traps but the problem was only getting worse. I went to Angie's list and called Blackhawk Pest Control. I spoke to Larry and explained the situation and asked if it was possible for them to go over to the duplex the following morning and access the problem. I offered to give them my credit card info because I had to leave for the airport early afternoon and probably would not get a chance to find out what needed to be done. I told him just to do what was necessary and bill me . He declined my offer of credit card info and said he would get there before I left and would call me once he checked it out. The next morning he called and told me what he had found. He found some holes that he felt my son could patch when he returned to the US and he also gave me some other tips/advice. He showed the tenant where she should place poison for the mice to prevent them from even entering the house. He also gave her his card and told her to feel free to call him if the poison did not do the job. The AMAZING part of this is that he did not charge me anything at all. He did the inspection and gave the advice for free. It apparently did the trick because he has not contacted me to pay him for any further visits. I'm still stunned. It's certainly clear to me that this is a company that you can trust. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Description of Work: The gentleman was pleasant enough. It took over a month to get the initial visit. Once initial visit done, no further mice noted. However no follow up provided.

Description of Work: Larry did a lot. He got rid of my raccoon, mice, sprayed for insects and I'm on a route with him now so I should be good from now on. It's a lot cheaper then I thought and he sends me a bill. Nice to see a nice guy like Larry is still aroud.
