Everything from the 1st call to him spraying the yellow jackets went well. He is very knowledgeable in what he does and very professional. He took the time to talk to us so we got to know Larry a little bid. A very likeable guy. Overall a very pleasureable experience if there is such a thing when your dealing with yellow jackets. He even said he would come back out if I saw bees going back in there after a day or so. He did come back about a week later because I found some yellow jackets in my basement from the sake nest. It was no problem for him and another great experience. I would recommend this service to anyone!!!!

Larry did a great job! He was friendly and very helpful. Also, the price was unbeatable. Other exterminators I contacted were charging 3 times as much. I highly recommend him to everyone for prompt and reliable service.

I called in the morning for removal of a large wasp nest on the back of the house and he was there in the afternoon. Very professional and quick. He came back the next morning to dispose of the wasp nest. Surprisingly reasonable price. I would definitely call him again.

We just moved here in May. We noticed the new and rapidly growing wasp nest just at the roof peak only last week. We had no idea bees were active under the front steps until a mud-jacking crew discovered them while "raising" the walk slabs last Saturday. Naturally, we didn't feel too comfortable sharing our new home with wasps and bees. So we called in the cavalry (aka Blackhawk Pest Control). I took a chance and called at 7:45 a.m. Monday. Larry was on the road, but he pulled over to take my information. I was really amazed when he said he had an opening at 2:00 that afternoon. While I was waiting, he called at 2:00 to say he was running late. Then he called a second time to re-set the time to 3:30. This to me demonstrates a level of professionalism that sadly is very rare. (I gave up counting the number of times contractors, etc. set up appointments and just never bothered to show, let alone call to say they weren't coming.) Larry arrived on time and listened (that in itself is a BIG thing!) to me while I showed him the nests. I had thought the mudjackers had succeeded in sealing the front porch nest, but Larry noticed a bee working its way into a crack. When it didn't re-emerge, he knew the nest was still active. So he treated it with toxic "dust" He was very reassuring about the effectiveness of his methods and answered all questions. He even volunteered some interesting info on handling the miscellaneous bugs we've been finding in the house. He "swept" away the wasp nest; there's no trace of it left. Larry did a thorough job. He's a professional and a pleasure to deal with.

The owner Larry and I emailed each other to coordinate an appointment time for him to come to my house. He was very flexible with his schedule and was prompt with the appointment. He is very personable. Larry listened to what I was saying, checked around the property and gave me a solution. I gave the go ahead and he go right to work. He was very thorough and was finished in a little over an hour. I felt that he really appreciated my business and he said to call if I had any problems. It certainly felt great not to have multiple mosquito bites after being in my yard and not finding box elders or swarming ants all over. I highly recommend Blackhawk Pest Control!!

Larry is fabulous! I called late on a Sat.morning and he had the job completed same day by early afternoon. He took the time to explain the whole thing. He is very professional, courteous, and competent.

They’re excellent. I used them before. I basically use them this time of year because of rodents starts moving from the yard into the basement and attic. The price is pretty reasonable. It depends on the size of the house. He provides pretty extensive services. I have been using him since 2011.

Larry (owner) is one of the most conscientious service providers I have ever experienced. He was effective and very professional. I highly recommend him.

They were fabulous. I told them that they would be my first Angieslist report. They guy’s name is Larry; he is the owner. He is licensed and insured and bonded. He charged $100 for which he came in and reviewed the whole situation. I am in a duplex. He pulled out the stove and drawer and looked under there. He put special equipment. He did traps and bait stations. They are special bait stations that are PVC vinyl but dozen cats can get at the bait to get poisoned. His guarantee was that for the 100 bucks, he spent a couple of hours with me the first day. He went in the attic, the basement and around the perimeter outside. He came back every week. The deal was he would come back until the problem gets resolved. It was almost 100% solved the first time. But he made two more trips and he removed the equipment at the end.
