The Masons Touch

The service was for my little pond, and they did a nice job. They did a very nice job, very thorough, cleaned the pond, fixed a couple leaks for me, very knowledgeable, and prompt.

Truth: I can't remember the exact dollar amount and the exact nature of the issue. But I do CLEARLY remember how well this company took care of our problem. We had an issue with the pump in the water feature and a looming deadline for getting it fixed. Aaron took care of every last detail, making several trips, rush ordering parts, giving us tips for prevention of future issues. We were ready to fill in the "money pit" water feature and now that we found Mason's Touch, we have hope for a brighter future. Aaron was honest, reliable, easy-to-reach, friendly and really easy to work with. A+!

He did a terrific job. You can't tell there was ever any cracks!

Perfect! He did the cutting out and installing and getting it ready for the electrician and then he removed some iron rod railings from the front of our house and he did some landscaping for us. He might have removed some bushes and he went outside and he noticed that the grade of the soil was such that it was causing the water to leak into the garage and probably caused the cracks in our foundation and installed some new shrubberies.

He cleaned the waterfall and replaced the pumps. He brought up the fact that I needed my chimney needed to be done, so we used him for some other stone work. We needed the chimneys re-pointed. He gave us a bid and him and his worker were working on it, then they mentioned that they needed another 200$ because they were not secure enough with the chimney. I purchased the rope, but they left with the rope. I figured that he should have the equipment since this is what his profession is. He did do a fine job re-tuck pointing the chimneys, but I was not happy with the transaction. The tuck pointing was about 2500.00.

Did a great job. He was here when he said he would be for the estimate. He listened to us and didn't try and to sell us anything we didn't want/need. He had the estimate to us when he said he would and the pricing was competitive. He arrived when he said he would and had the job done in the timeframe that he said. He was professional and also very friendly. I will use him for all future projects.

We had some initial misunderstanding but Aaron looked past that and did the best job he could. By the time we were done he had methodically demolished a concrete wall (while protecting nearby structures and a tree), excavated and moved over 20 cu. yards of dirt, improvised a solid bed on which to build the wall, and built a solid dry-stacked retaining wall with 25 tons of rock. That took him all of 2 1/2 days including extra trips to the stone yard once before and once during the job. After he was done, he neatly arranged the remaining material and pallets and cleaned up the work area. He has an outstanding work ethic and he does what he says he will do. He enjoys what he does and it shows.

Showed up, took pictures, ordered brick, installed it all, collected his money - was pretty efficient, no real complaints.

Last year, Mason's Touch did a fine job cleaning out our koi pond and waterfall feature, and suggested a fix to the waterfall feature which it offered to do for $600. We decided to wait and see how things went, and reconnected with Mason's Touch in March to discuss and rebid project. It took a few weeks, but Masons Touch finally came out and offered to do the project for $700 in early June. I accepted the bid but May and almost all of June came and went without further contact. I called and spoke to the guy at the end of June and he suggested that they had just been very busy, but would certainly get to our project by the end of July. It's September 30th and I've never head back from The Mason's Touch.

Aaron responded quickly to my request for a quote. I thought the quote was resonable. I had asked another firm for a quote but they didn't get back to me until I had already accepted Aaron's proposal. He showed up as promised, was very professional and the work was done as promised. Finding qualified people to do repair and maintenance work is always a challange. If it has to do with concrete, I don't think you will go wrong asking the Mason's Touch for a bid.

Aaron was fabulous to work with! He was quick to respond to my request for a bid. I appreciated that he was flexible with scheduling time to come to our home to review our projects. His bid came in a timely manner, and covered all aspects of the projects. Aaron was great in suggesting products for us to consider, and I felt comfortable asking him many questions about them. We requested work to be completed on specific days (little ones out the house) and he was very willing to commit to those days. He was on time, worked hard, and made sure to keep us in the loop about the work he was focused on. I apprcaited that he tented the area he worked in inside our house to prevent dust from going everywhere. Everything was put in order when he left and cleaned up. For our front steps he did a natural stone overlay for the risers, treads, and sides. It looks stunning! We have had so many compliments from our neighbors. Our house went from tired to "wow." Not only was the work sound, it's simply stunning. He has an artistic eye. You can tell that every stone he laid balances the one next to it. I would recommend Aaron with the Mason's Touch in a heart beat. In fact, when we move next year, I'm sure to be in touch for other projects. "A" work for sure!

It went well. We asked him to do work that is likely much simpler than the work he typically does. He was professional and pleasant to work with.

Aaron showed up on time and ready to work. He started by draining the pond with a Shopvac to get all the grime out. He then went through and pull out as many pine needles and debris as he could get. He then power washed (we paid an additional charge for this) the rocks to get the algae off. He then filled the pond. When we found that the pump wasn't working, he took the extra time to take apart the pump and replace a part and put it back together. He made sure everything was working before he left. He also took the time to call a store that specializes in ponds and asked what would be the best chemicals for our pond. (Our pond is a breeding ground for algae as it is in direct sunlight). Perfect. Aaron and I spent some time discussing the idea for the project by email - I saw something that I liked that he had previously done, and I found a few more images on the internet showing some styles that I liked. Aaron came to the house and assessed the existing stonework as well as the style and setting of the house, and based on the ideas we liked, he came up with a design plan that was exactly to our liking. He definitely has an artistic approach to blending styles, colors and textures. The project took a few days, and he was completely professional, focused, and great at communicating status and asking questions all along the way. He would send pictures to me at work as the project progressed so I could see what he was doing, and he continuously sought my feedback to make sure I was in agreement with the progress. We had painters at the house at the same time (coincidence), and they had great things to say about how nice and helpful he was (since they were working in the same areas of the house at times). This has been a great experience, and Aaron is just a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him to everyone! The steps are a beautiful piece of work, with bluestone treads and layered rock along the sides and for risers, and we have already gotten many compliments.

I can not say enough about the integrity of Aaron. He came across a problem with the pond and was able to come up with a solution that was cost effective. I would definitely use him again and recommend him.

This guy come over to my house to estimate on the brick in front of my house. He told me that he will make it perfect and repair all the losing brick. Guess what? nothing like he promissed me....I have to point out all the problems and still not perfect.....I will never using this guy ever again....and I am would not recommend to anyone out there.

They were quick in responding and did an okay job. I did not have to pay anything extra for the service.

The guy that came was very friendly, responsive and went out his way to kind of work with my schedule.

He was very pleasant to work with. He was punctual and polite. The product is exactly how he said it would be. It was a good price as well. I will recommend Masons Touch to others.

Aaron is fantastic. His communication was great throughout the whole process, and the work he did on our foundation is top notch. We are selling our home, and had a unique situation with our buyer and Aaron's flexibility made the whole process much easier. We couldn't be happier and will not hesitate to call Aaron again.

The Mason's Touch did a spring cleanup of our pond last year. They were very professional and did a superb job! It took about 2 hours to empty and clean the pond.

Work was great and he cleaned up very well afterwards.

I paid for 8 hours using a "Big Deal" offer. Aaron came out and did about 4 hours worth of work. I called several times to get the remaining 4 hours - he always said he would call me back and never did. I gave up. The 4 hours worth of work he did do seems fine. I will never do a big deal again because you are pre-paying. I had one other big deal fail so never again
