It was fine and they were very good and everything they did was correct its just that they are expensive.

My bathroom remodel was remarkably easy from start to finish. Casey, the salesperson, was upfront with the cost and timeline for when the project would start. He was also very personable and knowledgeable about his product. The crew that worked on my remodel, Jason and Steve, were always on time, professional, friendly and did a fantastic job. The final cost of my remodel was exactly what I was quoted and my project started about a month earlier than I expected. Thank you Casey, Jason, Steve, Scott, Mandy and the guy who did the final measuring (unfortunately I put Final Measurer in my contacts list).

These guys didn’t even show up for our initial meeting that we schedule to discuss a bathroom remodel. When I called to find out what was going on, I was told that they called to confirm earlier in the day, but nobody left a message (the only unanswered calls on my phone today were from “Telemarketing”) or sent a text. And no apology from them either. Great way to make an impression. Thanks for wasting my time!

We have a front door with sidelights replaced, and a new bathroom vanity top installed. A few notes: - First let me say that the two craftsmen who did the two installations were first rate. They showed up as scheduled, and finished their job in the expected time frame. We could not be happier with the quality of the installations. - The salesperson and final measurement personnel were also great. They helped us through the color and design decisions, and gently encouraged us to reconsider a decision we made - they were right! We are very happy with the products and the designs as well. - One slight negative - We were given an installation estimate of 12-14 weeks - which was not out of line with the current market. And we had to put down 50%, which also is not that unreasonable. But when that 50% is being held for that long with no work being done on site, it gets a little uncomfortable. There was nothing unexpected about that. Just a side note that doesn't deter from our overall satisfaction.

Contrary to the experience of many reviewers, my salesperson, Aaron, was not at all pushy and very careful to tailor the information presented to our needs and interests. He originally came to discuss selling us a window which did not go well because Rusco's prices are too high. But we got to discussing a badly worn out sliding glass door and Aaron found something that was in our price range that looked like it would work so we agreed to have the work done. After looking around, I figured out that Rusco charged us about $500 - 1,000 too much for the combination of the window and door but I can't really complain because I signed on the dotted line before doing comparison shopping and I need to emphasize that Aaron did nothing to push me into this mistake. Other than the high price, everything went smoothly. The parts arrived earlier than expected and fit exactly as desired. The weather the day of the installation was wretched but the two-man crew Rusco sent out to do the job was resourceful, professional, well-equipped, and very, very hard working. They arrived at 8:30 AM and stayed until the job was done and everything was cleaned up, which was almost 8:00 PM.

I laughed when I received the estimate for over $40K. They claimed "I must not be used to working with professionals". Their material cost alone was over $10,000 out of a $43K bid. This was just absurd. I had this work done with another company for $6,200 and was extremely pleased.

I wanted an estimate and not a 2 hour in your home talk on how much better their products are. They were the highest of three bids even though a KSTP television ad was promoting big discounts for their services.

I made an appointment for a representative to come to our house and give us a quote for remodel of 2 bathrooms. Rusco call us on the Saturday Evening prior to the Monday appointment and left a voice mail that they were canceling the appointment as they were unable to confirm the appointment 3 days prior to the appointment. We were not home Saturday and were surprised and disappointed as arrangements had been made to our Monday schedule. I immediately called the RUSCO sales representative we made the appointment with (had his Cell #) to find out the details; surprising, he was in Florida on vacation and said he would follow up. A week or 2 later another RUSCO representative call me. Reluctantly I agreed to reschedule the appointment with him. The day of the appointment yet another RUSCO person shows up. He was told to give us his best deal. Unfortunately he was a bit unprofessional and over the top on his review of our job with the verbal quote considerably stronger than other quotes we received and would not do everything we wanted. We were pressured to make a decision that evening and I stated that I want a written quote to be sent with details; that took several days to receive. In the end we went with another firm and the experience has been very good.

After spending almost two hours discussing the project, the salesman put a few things in his laptop and then turned it around to show me the "today only" price on his screen. I told him I was not ready to sign that day and to send me the estimate as well as some pictures we looked at on his laptop. After a couple of days, the trainee called. I explained that I still hadn't received anything and he said he would look into it. I never heard from the company again. The price he showed me was double the other estimates I've received and even with the "special" pricing was over $10,000 higher than other companies - and I would have had to supply many of the materials (fan, fireplace, carpet) and do some of the work myself! I would never recommend this company and urge others to be careful when dealing with them.

I only got as far as having the product consultant come out to give me an estimate - two hours of my life to learn the following -even though they were offering a $50 gift card for having someone come out nobody mentions that when you schedule or when they come out - interesting since my estimate they're now offering a $200 gift card -they won't give you anything in writing until you're ready to write a check. While I understand contractors don't want to give their competitors their pricing contractors need to understand a written estimate is a way for a customer to validate the contractor is on the same page as the homeowner and is a useful tool for the customer -the product consultant they sent was dumfounded on how to communicate with me because I didn't need/want to talk design and pretty colors - I know what I want and my project is focused on function not luxury -the verbal estimate was $20,000 but because of their specials came down to $17,000 to gut and redo a 5x6' bathroom with no material upgrades just bare bones and I had to buy the sink, light fixtures and paint. No breakdown of the cost to justify the $20,000, that would have been helpful! -product consultant spent 20 min telling me how great the company is and didn't bother to ask if I looked at the website and already knew what she was telling me -product consultant was trying to tell me how they take care of their customers and are always there to answer questions - but the way the message was delivered is Rusco thinks their customers are dumb -I was very clear when I made the appointment that my project was a small bathroom in a house I don't intend to be in much longer, the bathroom was last done in the 70's so it needs an update - the big upgrade is that I wanted to add insulation to the walls! Rusco seems to be more interested in luxury remodel which is fine. They should look at new tools (skype pics live chat) to weed out these projects without using 2 hours of their employees time or the customers if they are not interested in small functional projects. -I ended my meeting asking for a written estimate and was told I would have it over the weekend, 2 weeks later still waiting oh and of course no gift card for wasting 2 hours of my life! If you have a large high end project this might be a great company to work with, if you know what you want and are focused on functionality don't waste the phone call or web search!

They came out to our house to give a quote on windows. We should have had red flags go off when they said on the phone, "Both spouses need to be there.". We have previously bought into many timeshare and multi-level marketing (mlm) presentations and they are the only other companies that say that. The presenter did do a good job explaining their products. He did explain the factors involved in getting good window replacements. But, there were several other red flags during the presentation: (1) he said their windows are better than the competition, (2) he went away to find out if a sale expired or not (he has been doing this for years - he knows if there is a sale or not), (3) pressure to sign there and then, and (4) if I don't let him know today, I will loose one of the discounts. These are all pressure tactics. It does not give people the chance to validate their claims. You would need to look at other reviews to see about the quality of their work (categories show B's to F's), but their tactics are based on pressure marketing. If their work and products are as good as they say, people would come back and beg to use their services - they would not need pressure tactics. My recommendation is to be aware of this when they come to your house. There are other good companies out there with higher ratings on Angie's List than them. We have decided not to give into pressure tactics when as much money as a car is at stake.

Granted, our board is a bunch of MORONS, but Minnesota Rusco could have worked this more professional. We had to accept the windows our ASSociation chose. We had no options for better quality or interior colors. I waited over 2 hours just to have them measure my windows when every unit had the same size frames! I also waited 6 hours the day they put the windows in. I told them I was pressed for time, but they seemed to slow down. The quality and installation was adiqite. One of my windows had a large scratch near the top and small pieces of debris inside the so called air tight double ply window. They offered to replace it, but I didn't want anymore intrusions by them. I had to wait 2 more hours for them to come back to my unit to inspect my windows and later that day after heavy rain and very high dew points one of the stationary windows fogged up on the outside and my air conditioner wasn't even on! I counted approximately 17 other large stationary panes on the back of the building with condensation on the outside. I was the only person to call with my concerns and they asked me if they could replace that pane. I agreed to have them replace it before winter and am currently waiting for that replacement. Minnesota Rusco buys their ready to install windows from Quaker Windows of Freeburg, MO. The company has a top rating for their products. There may have been some problems with this batch, but only time will tell how they hold up in our harsh Minnesota winter. Minnesota Rusco has been very responsive so far. I'm not planning on waiting hours when they come to tear out the defective window and replace it. I want them to make an appointment with me and stick to that time! Waiting over 10 hours for workers to show up and install my 2 windows is ridiculous! They could have given each home owners options for window quality and interior color choices, but the company they contracted to install FWA construction of **** Rapids would have never been able to keep track of which window went in what unit.

Great-very professional-prompt, good clean up detail easy to work with keep us informed thru our project.

The salesman was punctual and answered all our questions. He was polite and well informed. We ordered 5 windows that best met our needs. They windows were installed in a short amount of time by men that new what they were doing. Our new windows are very easy to open and shut, a problem we had with the old one- and also very easy to clean. I can look forward to having windows that function properly now for the next 30 years!

I do not have any complaints, they did everything they said they would. A perfect job!!!

The sales person came to our home to discuss the products and help us pick out the look we were trying to achieve. Everything was measured and ordered. When everything was completed at the factory, the installation took about two days. We were happy they could get the old tub out without scratching any of the walls or woodwork. They were very neat and didn't track through the house and cleaned up the mess when they were done. We LOVE our new bathroom, especially the jetted tub.

We met with their representative, made our selections, and paid the first half, which was $5,500.00 on September 9, 2015. I think they finally started on December 17, 2015. They did not work long the first day which ended up with one tile thrown away and a hole cut through the bathroom wall AND the bedroom wall while removing the tub surround. The one tile was from the bathroom floor which was original to the house and which was NOT being replaced. We were not able to match this tile as the house was built in 1977. We did not receive much help from Minnesota Rusco or their sub contractor with this problem. My husband and I finally solved this problem ourselves. The bathtub replacement went well after they were convinced I was not accepting a tub with any imperfections. We have yet to see the tub stopper that supposedly came with the tub. Apparently it came in damaged and they have been unable to replace it. While most of the onyx surround looks wonderful one piece looks very sloppy. It sticks out and still carries the measurement make which no one bothered to wipe off. The vanity and vanity top are a different story. Two 24 inch vanity cabinets were placed. They sat about an inch from the wall so a spacer piece was put in at one end. Nothing is symmetrical because of this. One set of doors opens even with the center of the first sink. The other set of doors opens to the right of center in the second sink. We went from a single sink to a double so spaces were carved out from the center and back walls of the vanity. There is a piece of wood at the bottom of the vanity which is raw wood on the open side. Evidently the counter top was measured incorrectly. The one piece onyx vanity top/sinks is on the short side. The difference was filled with caulking. This was started on December 17, 2015, although I could be off one day. They have sent the bill for the remaining $5,500.00, which I won't pay until they complete the bathroom. They seemed surprised that it wasn't finished when I called to explain this. This is the second time I have had to call the and tell them the work hasn't been finished. I want the bathroom remodel we were told we were getting. This is just a mess. It looks unprofessional and sloppy. We could have done a better job. No one seems to know what any one else is doing. The sales representative is different from the measuring people. The measuring people are different from the scheduling people. Then we have the sub contractors and one other guy. I am not sure what he does as I have been unsuccessful at reaching him again. We are very disappointed with the quality of the replacement vanity and top-our old one was ugly, but it was well made and fit the area as it should. I have heard nothing from anyone since I told the sub contractor I wanted everything fixed.
