Mark was extremely pleasant to work with. His estimate was very reasonable and he is extremely reliable and conscientious. He arrived early in the morning on the day scheduled and very efficiently completed his work. When our cabinets were being installed, we needed more slack in the electrical to the island before the island could be placed. I called Mark and he immediately came and completed this quickly so that there were not any delays in our project. He had just hired another man to work with him and he also seems to be a top-notch electrician. I highly recommend Mark for his professionalism, skill, price, and character. He is definitely someone you could trust to be honest and work independently in your home.

I read an endorsement of Mark on Angie's List (at another company's site where a customer had been disappointed with that other company and had found Schmidt). Mark arrived precisely on time, was friendly and exceedingly efficient. I had been told by another electrician that a replacement fan would be necessary and that the ceiling would have to be redone as a part of this project. Mark's diagnosis was to hook up and vent the exhaust part of the existing fan (which had never even been used). We didn't need to buy a new fan or have the ceiling redone. Mark is obviously experienced, knowledgeable, and fast. He was respectful of our home and was careful to be tidy. I will have him back and am grateful to the other Angie's List referral.

He was very professional and explained what was going on, and worked very quickly. Came out on short notice. The work itself wasn't costly, but of course there's a minimum charge, etc.

The experience from the start was wonderful. From the customer service I received from my first phone call to the return calls and the actual work and his professionalism, it was excellent. I will use this company again and have referred them to my friends.

RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND. WHEN I FIRST PHONED, I GOT AN ANSWERING MACHINE, HOWEVER CAROLYN RETURNED MY CALL WITHIN 30 MINUTES. MARK WAS OUT THE NEXT DAY, AND XCEL WAS OUT THE DAY AFTER. BOTH MARK AND CAROLYN WERE FRIENDLY AND EASY TO WORK WITH. POWER LINES WERE KNOCKED DOWN DURING SEPT 21 STORM & I HAD BEEN TRYING FOR FOUR WEEKS TO GET ANOTHER COMPANY TO FINISH THIS WORK. FROM THE TIME I CALLED TO COMPLETION WAS THREE DAYS! I AM PLANNING TO HIRE THEM FOR OTHER ELECTRICAL PROJECTS.
