Schmidt Electric Inc was one of the best experiences that I have ever had working with any company. I will never hire another electrical company besides Schmidt's ever again. Mark and his team were incredibly responsive and friendly. Mark came up with creative solutions to give me exactly what I was looking for, and did so for an excellent price and quick turnaround. I showed my father (who is an electrical engineer) a solution that Mark completed for me, and he was so impressed that he immediately did the same thing to his own house.

Mark and Tom are our go-to electricians for every project we've had so far. They upgraded our 150 amp panel to 200 amp, added a surge protector and exterior shutoff (required by code). They helped us add and replace dozens of recessed lighting fixtures, and most recently roughed-in electrical for a large master suite and kitchen remodel project. Mark and Tom show up on time (between 7:30am - 8:00am) and get the work done very efficiently and high quality.

Mark responded to my email inquiry first thing in the morning and was at my house that day. He diagnosed our problem with outdoor fixtures, made the repair and educated me on how to avoid the problem in the future. Can't recommend this company highly enough!

They showed up when they said they would and performed the task that I had requested in a timely fashion. I would use them again if I need more electrical work performed.

Mark and his helper arrived as planned at 8:00 am in the morning, did the jobs (I had to go to a doctor's appointment but I think they were done by 11:30 am) and they even cleaned up any dust, insulation and debris from their work. This is a very vaulted home and the fan and the canned light were on steep and high vaults. Polite, helpful and I would certainly use them again.

We just had a siding replacement job and contacted a couple companies and we asked for a rough estimate of cost. Since the estimate was based on our description, we expected it would just be a ballpark estimate for the job. The Schmidt estimate of $750 seemed to be acceptable, since we needed it done fairly soon and we wanted it to be done correctly. The morning of the job, we were thrilled to discover that two guys showed up. I went through everything with them and then they went right to work. They were very fast and professional--no problems! They came in way below the estimate and were done in about 2 hours. They exceeded ALL of our expectations!

Mark was here exactly on time, and was very helpful in giving me advice on the heating options for my home. He was willing to go up in my attic that is very hard to get to and he crawled around up there in tons of insulation and even put some mouse bait up there for me. He did the work quickly and professionally. I also felt he was very reasonable on his prices. I would definitely call him the next time I need an electrician!

Mark does a great job. We leave a key for him to enter our house, as we fully trust him and he's done work for us in the past. He is always one time and provides estimates in a timely manner. It's also great that we can communicate with him via email once he's had an initial look at the project in mind. He always does his work quickly and efficiently. We only know he's been there because we see the new outlet - otherwise, there's absolutely no mess or indication he's been there. We've worked with him on a few project and have always had the same experience.

I spent about $125 on that service and it turned great. They were able to crawl up into a narrow space in the garage that I would have never gotten into myself and installed it to my specifications. The president of the company came out and he is always very friendly, professional, on time, and hardworking.

The guy was really nice, and he was able to put everything in place, and it was a quick and easy process. They charged $480 to put in the tube and the fan. They came early in the morning, and they were good.

The technician was prompt, courteous, and explained what he found. We'd recommend them.

I contacted Schmidt Electric and informed them of my needs. Carol, the office manager, was able to have their electrician stop by the same day to take a look at my situation and provide a bid. He offered the option of having me dig the trench for running the wire as a cost savings measure, which I thought was a great idea. In the next week, I was able to dig the trench and reconnected with Schmidt to let them know I was ready for them to return. Carol scheduled the electrician to come out later that week. He arrived as scheduled and he worked efficiently and even closed most of the trench for me. The work was completed on schedule, professionally and on bid. I intend to use Schmidt Electric for all future electrical work at my home.

They advertised being part of your list on there truck. That is why I called them We do not plan & paying for the double billing they charged.

Mark arrived on time. He was professional and cleaned up before leaving.

On 2/12, I phoned company to inquire about bid. Carol in their office could not find my records. Randy was on a job and could not be reached. On 2/20 I phoned again and reached Mark Schmidt who said he would pull my file & call back. I also gave Mark my email address to send bid. On 2/21, Carol left me voice mail saying she had just emailed me a bid. As of this writing, 3/13/07, I have received neither bid nor literature from this company -- not by regular mail nor by email.

The company was immediately responsive and came out the same day to plan and quote the job. Due to pending drywall work, Mark Schmidt came in the next day to pull wire before the drywall was installed. He came back the following week to finish the job. He and his crew did an excellent job, they were fast, neat, courteous and timely. Their pricing was very reasonable, and their quote matched their bill.
