Should you decide to progress with your project, I reface the existing cabinets with 1/4" hardwood to the front of your existing cabinets and install brand new doors and drawer fronts to give your kitchen an entirely new look. I can provide you with a custom stain or paint color of your choice, as well as, color match something existing in your home. Because every home is unique, pricing is based on your kitchen design. Nick Holker Construction is a building contractor located in Monticello MN. Nick is a hands on contractor in the trade of carpentry for more than 20 years. Nick offers business in new construction including custom building, additions and remodeling. Exterior work including roofing, siding and decks are no exception. A professional and friendly contractor, Nick will see that your project is finished with quality and efficiency from start to finish.
"We hired Nick to build a composite deck extension to our existing deck. The work was quality and we were satisfied with the results and service to date. Months later the city called to notify us that there was not an inspection performed basis the permit pulled for this work. While this should have been taken care of by Nick right after construction, I fielded the inspection gathering the appropriate paperwork. The inspection ultimately failed due to work not performed to code. When we notified Nick he offered make the fix however with cheap material that would not match the existing work. When asked to using matching material which cost $15 more he pushed back and told us to buy it ourselves (which we ultimately did) and he would reimburse us. He came to apply the fix, never notified us he was done or offered us to see the work which ultimately looked shoddy. He never reimbursed us for the material nor have we heard back from him since. An unfortunate conclusion to what was until then a good experience."
