John and his crew were punctual and did a great job. We were very pleased with the work that was done.

Job profile offered "small jobs". Called for a quote but John, the owner, forgot to come out. Called back and he apologized and came out the same day and did the work. So far, it is excellent. Very friendly and professional.

John was great to work with. He was willing to take a small job that others turned down. He came out within one day to give an estimate and was on the job the next day. Although it was a small job, he took pride in the work and made two visits to make sure it was done properly. Overall he was very pleasant and easy to work with. I highly recommend this company.

Service was great, work was completed within the time frame discussed. John provided a lot of information/education for the home owners, which was much appreciated. Performed the work for the price estimated. No hassles! Will return in fall to add a surface agent which will help cement to withstand the elements of winter. Would recommend Concrete Builders (John) to others needing his services.

Bottom line: Highly recommended! Very communicative; helps if you have a flexible timeline; small jobs are more costly due to concrete delivery, but he is the only one out of 5 that I called who would actually quote/do it. My initial contact with John started about a month prior to the service, when I found Concrete Builders on Angie's List. I communicated the size of the job and what was needed, and he explained that since it is a small job, it might not be cost effective to have it done as a one-off, but combining it with another service in the area would save money on concrete delivery. He came over to estimate while I wasn't home and quoted $500 or $800 depending on whether it needed to be done as a one off or if I could wait for someone else to get concrete poured in the same area. I decided to hold off on having the work done since it was not urgently needed. We stayed in contact during the weeks preceding the service, and John said he would keep me in mind and let me know if he had any jobs in the area. Then on May 18th I called him about a different issue (advice on placement of a portable storage unit in my driveway so it wouldn't interfere if/when they were able to work on the sidewalk), and he mentioned that he had some work being done sort-of close the next day. He sent a guy out that same day I called to pull out the old concrete and put the wood in to frame where the new concrete would go. The next day the concrete was in when I got home from work, and it looked great. I was invoiced $550 paid by check (there was a small upcharge for concrete delivery) and am very satisfied with the service. He followed up to make sure everything was right, and was appreciative of my business when I thanked him for doing a small job like mine.

John and his crew were at my home bright and early two days after we agreed upon a price for the project. Although I was out of town at the time, John called and talked through the project with me and was able to handle it without having to bother my wife at all. They were completed by the time my wife came home from work and the steps looked amazing, and the area was cleaned up. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that they did.

We are extremely happy with the work provided. John is excellent in his business, very personable and punctual. We knew we were in good hands. His crew was also very pleasant and hard working. John worked around the rain, was very neat and communicative. We got good instructions on the follow-up drying times. We were also able to coordinate this work with a coating surface which will be applied in late July by Garage Flooring. The new concrete looks great and was certainly the way to go with our project. We would heartily recommend Concrete Builders for an honest professional job.

They were on time, did quality work, and were friendly and professional. They also tidied up after themselves and replaced sod around the sidewalk. I was pleased with the whole process and would hire them again.

I called John to inquire about some repair work on my front steps. He was very punctual about meeting with me, and very knowledgeable about the situation. He helped me to figure out the best way to remedy the problem, and as it turned out, he does not do that type of work! I appreciated his honesty and referrals. I would definitely call upon John for future work and I highly recommend him to others.

The crew came two days after the estimate at around 7:30 am (just like John said they would). Dug out around the foundation, knocked out the old bricks, poured new concrete (filling in the blocks below), AND even put a new footing under the decorative bricks on the front of our garage. After the concrete was poured, they refilled the hole, and after the larger part of the crew was gone, one person stuck around to make sure the concrete was drying well. Total time was about 6 hours, again, just as John said. John explained everything to both my wife and I. We are hoping to use John do to some more work we'd like done next summer! I HIGHLY recommend John and Concrete Builders!

John and his crew were very professional, kind and hardworking. John made sure to correspond with me during each phase of the project to make sure they were designing the correct pathway. I'm very happy with the end result and will recommend them to any potential clients.

Had a strip in front of the house where I had removed some bushes and now cats were using as a toilet cemented over. Also poured cement in the back next to a deck. And repaired a poor cement job done in the corner of my driveway. John and his crew were punctual and never left a mess. I was very surprised at how quick they did it all, two days. My parents also hired him and were happy with the job he did for them.

I talked to John Reichert on April 2nd and gave him the scope of the work I needed done. He mentioned he was going out of town for the weekend and would contact me the following week to set up an appointment to look at the site and take measurements. We spoke again on the following Saturday and he came out that day. I showed him what I wanted done and we also discussed adding sidewalk all the way from the deck to the garage. He said he would provide various options in his quote which he would send via email in a couple days. I had pretty much decided before I got the quote that I would not have the sidewalk done from the deck to the garage but I did choose to do the rest of the work I had originally asked for. I talked to John on that Tuesday, the 14th and gave him the go-ahead and asked when he could do the work. He responded that the following day would fit his schedule! He and his crew were out bright and early the next day, I gave him the signed contract and down-payment check and he said they would get started pulling the old patio blocks from in front of the gate and lay the path but that they probably would not be able to pour that day because it was very windy with low humidity which dries out the concrete too quickly for them to finish it properly. They would pour and finish the concrete the next morning. I said fine and went to work. Imagine my surprise when I came home and found my brand new sidewalks all poured and setting up nicely! Now THAT'S Service! John called me later that evening to see what I thought and to let me know when I could let the dog loose on it. Needless to say, I told him I was very pleased. I knew I would be, though, because this is the second time I've used them and I have not been disappointed.

We have used CB for two projects this year and more in previous years. They are professional, prompt and conscientious.

We recently needed to get our three car garage floor either replaced or patched. I called John Reichert, owner of Concrete Builders. He responded back within a day and he came out to give me an estimate. He was very knowledgeable, professional, and very accommendating. We were surprised how much it would cost to replace the garage floor. He suggested we could repair the cracks for a lot less but in a year or two we would have to do it again. We felt that we should do it right thefirst time and not just put a bandaid on it. Our garage floor only had one control joint. John said he would pour 5" thickness with rebar squares and control joints every four feet. He also would slant the floor so that any water would go toward the garage doors. We then would have to wait approximately 20-28 days for theconcrete to cure to apply the sealer that would soak into the concrete. John and his crew worked hard to get the concrete up and out and then pour concrete on one side of the garage and the next day pour the other side of the garage. I asked John if I could have a pail of concrete to pour around my mailbox post. The next day, it was poured and leveled. John didn't charge me for it. Thanks John. All awhile with the process, John kept me informed, answer all my questions and very easy going. Our floor looks great! I would highly recommend Concrete Builders and John Reichert.

John was very professional, prompt and friendly. He did an excellent job. He took time to help us look at our options, figure out the best plan and got the work done in a timely manner. I would definitely use his services again and recommend him to anyone needing concrete work.

Everything went very well. It was well organized, coordinated and executed. John always called to let us know what was going to be happening next.

John was fantastic. He was prompt in returning my phone calls inquiring about the project and willingly answered my many questions. His bid was exactly the same as another bid that I had requested from a friend who works in concrete. We decided to go with John because he was licensed and had much more experience. I'm so glad we did! The completed job looks beautiful. Not only do I have complete confidence that the eroded block below the garage is now repaired properly, the concrete apron and sidewalk pieces look really nice. John was here right away on the day he said he would come and removed the needed section of blacktop. He even poured the apron on 2 of the townhome units that day. He returned the next day to finish the job. John followed up with me to inform me of how long to wait before driving on it and said he'd come by to pick up the ribbon and rebar that was used to keep the area off-limits. He will be returning in a month to put a final sealant on. John is courteous, knowledgeable, and fully competent. I would recommend him to my family and friends in a heartbeat.

John returned my calls promptly and emailed a quote quickly. His team arrived the day they said they would and completed all the work beyond my expectations. In fact, they went a step beyond the original quote to help us save some money through a creative and efficient method of re-attaching iron railings to the stairwells. Overall, great job and we will use them again next year for another project we have on budget.

John came out and gave us an estimate for the work that needed to be done. He did not just tell us what needed to be done, but also offered us some suggestions. He also told us how we could add more detail to our front yard with some basic landscaping. We liked how he explained everything to us. He did not try to "sell" us on anything or pressure us into anything. He gave us great options. He came out and took out our old sidewalk and front stairs due to damage from the winters with salt being poured on them. He raised the sidewalk a little bit to help with water drainage. Then took out our stairs and poured in new ones. His crew cleaned up the area very well once the job was completed. It turned out great! We highly recommend him! Can't wait for spring to get a quote for our back yard to put in a patio.
