Description of Work: Crack in the foundation of our neighbors wall by a drainage pipe on the patio where the cobblestone was installed five years ago. Easy work we said we can do, as it's just to take out a few cobblestones and fill in with sand to drain away from the house. WONDERFUL suggestion and service and he helped to show what to do! AWESOME!

Description of Work: It's been my experience that the very best contractors, repair services, etc. are the ones that tell you when you DON'T need the work you thought you needed, or don't need as much of it. John R. took a look at our job (bottom two steps crumbling of a 4-step cement tier with a landing and metal railing) and said that he was confident that he would only need to do the bottom two steps, not the entire thing. This saved us a couple thousand dollars. He got the entire thing done in a day, it looks great, and seems solid. Winter will test it but I don't see cause to worry. | |This is the third job we've had him do and I would certainly hire him again. This time around communications were a little slower than in the past, but otherwise, another excellent experience with Concrete Builders.

Description of Work: Cut out portion of buttress alongside front step, reinforced with rebar, and poured new concerete around the two railing posts that were wobbly, stabilizing the railing without replacing the steps and preserving the surrounding landscaping.

Description of Work: Replaced front sidewalk and steps. John and his crew did a great job. Got the tear-out done in one day and poured the new sidewalk the next. On time, professional all the way and answered all of my questions. They did a nice job and no surprises. One added bonus was they were able to do all the work several weeks sooner than other contractors I had talked to.

Description of Work: We sold our home in Minneapolis. As a prerequisite to closing we needed to |make 2 minor repairs. We hired Concrete Builders to repair concrete |blocks in the garage that had deteriorated over the years. It was not a |pretty site. | |In a 5 hour time frame the repaired blocks looked wonderful. You could not |tell that there had ever been an issue. There was also a spot on the |garage floor that was damaged that was approximately the diameter of a |Basketball. Concrete Builders made the repairs at no charge. You don't |see that kind of service anymore. Would eagerly use them in the future |if we had not moved to our new home in Colorado Springs. I think we are |out of their service area.

Description of Work: Built sidewalk and retaining walls. Maybe a bit pricy but otherwise completely satisfied. Very accommodating. Would use them again. Selected from Angie's List because of their excellent and justified reputation!

Description of Work: The people replacing my driveway found some issues with the corner of my foundation after they had dug up the old driveway. We had to have the problem fixed before they could lay the new driveway. Concrete Builders CAME OUT ON A SATURDAY, no extra charge, and took care of it on short notice. Very much appreciated! It looked great as well. I will always use these guys!

Description of Work: Got a quote for fixing a front walk and repairing a cracked driveway. He quoted me the prices then told me how I could repair it myself if I wanted to save some. Very nice guy.

He explained what we could expect from the insurance company, which we are still dealing with. Once the insurance is settled, I'll be calling John. |Very personable.

Description of Work: POURED 12 X 24 CONCRETE PATIO IN BACK OF GARAGE. IT HAS CUTS IN THE CEMENT, SO IT LOOKS LIKE SQUARES, THIS WILL ALSO HIDE MOST OF THE CRACKS.

Description of Work: 3 SETS OF STAIRS AS WELL AS 2 SIDEWALKS WERE PUT IN, THIS INCLUDED REMOVAL OF ORIGINAL STEPS AND CLEAN UP.
