John gave us a prompt visit and bid. He gave us good advice on the design. The work was done neatly and on time. John came back to check on the work and make sure we were happy with the results. We would definitely use John again and have recommended him to neighbors.

John was great! He was punctual, friendly and very professional. He came with a couple of different ideas on which direction to go in rebuilding my steps. He took the time to explain the steps for each design from start to finish. I told him drainage was a problem so he gave me his opinion on which way to go. They arrived when they said they would and always cleaned up afterwards. John would call to give me updates and after they were finished he called to see if I was happy with the finished project. I have to say that dealing with Concrete Builders was the most positive experience I've had with a contractor. I highly recommend them!

John arrived as scheduled, seemed very knowledgeable about concrete. However, though I requested that he give me several options on the front steps I wanted to replace, when the estimate arrived it came with just one option. Also, his price was higher than the contractor I ultimately chose.

This was an excellent experience. Very helpful on the quotation, giving me ideas for options. Received proposal in a few days. Started within days of the agreement for me hiring him. I wasn't home at the time of the job, but my parents were, and they said John Reichart and his crew worked like DOGS! Very professional - they put down boards so their wheelbarrows wouldn't put ruts on my lawn, and everyone had a very well timed and precise role. He told me later that they have all been working together for a very long time. Very courteous team. Very nice to my elderly father, who thoroughly enjoyed his role as "sidewalk supervisor". My biggest surprise is that it was all finished in one day (the concrete). I wasn't completely happy with one part of the railing, so they came out and fixed it within a week. I am very happy with the final result.

John returned my call on Monday, the same day I called, and met with me at the house on Tuesday to discuss the project. He began work on Wednesday and the project was completed on Friday morning. It was amazing how fast and easy working with John and Concrete Builders turned out to be. He got the permits, did just what we discussed, cleaned up and put up protective sheets. He did an excellent job. I recommend them to anyone and will get them again myself when I need concrete work done.

This is the second time I've used Concrete Builders and I was pleased with the experience. Work was done quickly and professionally. John went out of his way to help us keep costs down.

John is very knowledgeable about concrete! He is also willing to explain and listens to the customer. The work crew was very polite and friendly. My steps look fabulous!

Everything went very well. John came to give me the estimate and he also works on the crew. We had a little scheduling issue because I was having painters come the same week, but John was very accommodating and worked around that. They came when expected, left everything very clean and even gave me a "bridge" to get into the side door when the cement was still wet. I'm very pleased with the results.

We were pleased with John's willingness to work with my husband who could do some steps himself. However, John made a critical error in advising us to do the opposite of city code. John told my husband he should not connect the drain into the city sewer through the house plumbing. Another contractor said code requires it to go into the house to the city sewer system. I called to verify with the city and the 2nd person was right, John was wrong. I realize that it is up to the homeowner to check into code issues, but this made us lose confidence in Concrete Builders.

John came at the time he stated to give us a bid. Was informative and helpful.

Perfect. The whole experience was just plain great. John was very responsive. We got the estimate in less than a week. Because our job was relatively small, it was done very quickly. It was performed with a lot of attention to detail. I would highly recommend this company.

I am an extremely happy customer! I called John because there was cracking in my driveway and front sidewalk. John gave me two options: repair or replace and talked through the pros and cons of both. The job was done next day and cleaned up beautifully. John explained everything very clearly and was genuinely interested in the best outcome for the customer. I would very highly recommend him. I even got a follow up call to ask how it was and if I had any other questions. John will never be short of work the way he conducts his business! I could not be happier with the outcome!

Arrived right on time and did a great job repairing a large crack that went all the way through the brick in the garage and extended across the garage floor. Had to dig a little underground on the outside wall (could not tell) and file the edges to make a good fix. Worked around several other contractors with no problem. Appreciate the good work and flexibility.

They were on time, and had the job done in a timely manner. They were very careful when they poured not to harm anything around my house. Their pricing is pretty competitive.

The owner came out and gave me an estimate after explaining what needed to be done and why. He was good to take the time and make sure that I understood everything and he had answered all my questions. They did an excellent job. They were prompt with getting me an estimate and getting started. The owner would check everyday to make sure the work was being done properly. The workmen were polite and they were good about cleaning up the old concrete. They had a great crew. The cost was a little higher but they do beautiful work.

John responded to my initial call quickly, came out for the estimate in very good time, and agreed that replacement was the way to go. He really spent quite awhile explaining the materials he would use, possible variations, etc. After I agreed to the estimate, he scheduled the work promptly, and completed it in two days, pretty much as he'd guessed when we met. The area was left quite clean. I chose Concrete Builders because of the large number of high ratings...and now add mine.

Everything went great. John was quick to respond to our call, quick with the estimate, and was just generally really nice and professional. He was very accommodating regarding our very limited budget, and he came up with ways for us to cut costs without sacrificing quality. In fact, his estimate was lower than those of two other companies. The job was done exactly as he said it would be, and the results are good. Also left a spotless work site, despite the messy nature of the work. We will definitely use John and Concrete Builders in the future should we need more concrete work done!

They are the BEST! I found the on Angie's List. Called and left a message. My call was returned immediately and even though I was out of town, they went to the house and did an estimate. The next day when I returned the estimate was taped to my door. I received a call later that day checking in, to see if the estimate was fair (two different options were created for me). When I had some questions, I was told that someone would stop by and they did. We had an in-person conversation, went over the bid and then set a date for the work to be done (beginning the next morning). I paid half up front and received an Angie's List discount as well as a $200 discount for having the stairs and sidewalks done at the same time. The next morning a back-ho and crew arrived at 7 am. They ripped out everything and took it away. My yard was left clean! The second day they came back and poured the cement--after four days of drying, the tape was removed and I was left with an amazing job!

I have used them once before- they did a patch job on one of my steps. I was happy to call them for new steps. They are wonderful people! You don't find people like that very often. They are true artisans and masters of their trade! My neighbor saw their work and has hired them. Price includes the iron railings that went along with the steps.

John was unbelievably helpful. He came up with several options for addressing a water problem I had. He made great recommendations and quoted a very reasonable price. He and his folks were prompt and fast and built a wall that blended beautifully once I painted it. I can't say enough about how pleasant and efficient they were.

The work was fantastic. This was a small job and other people were very reluctant to come out, but John didn't hesitate. He provided a great service at a great price (the next lowest bid was $1k). I know he didn't make much money on the job after paying the minimum charges for the concrete and truck to come out (about $350), but he and one employee came out and worked all morning to chop up the remaining roots under the sidewalk and put the sidewalk in. He was very careful to make sure the surface matched the appearance of the adjoining sidewalk. I was impressed that he suggested connecting the new piece to the adjoining sidewalk with rebar so that it wouldn't separate if the ground settled. To top it all off he was an extremely thoughtful and kind man. If I have any concrete work in the future, I absolutely will hire him again. I can't recommend him enough.

We were very pleased with how quickly John and his crew were able to schedule and complete the work. We had them out to quote a larger job, including driveway and garage slab, but went just with the steps and walk because of our budget. John was very knowledgeable and gave some helpful recommendations for creating a nice look and creating flexibility to do the other projects down the road. We will definitely use him for our future projects.
