Very nice job. It looks really good. Waiting for iron side rail which will be installed after concrete hardens.

The grading did eventually catch up with me and I chose to contact Concrete Builders. They even took the extra step to re-grade my lawn. They are just awesome! They’re one of the best companies you can work with!

John was prompt to schedule a stop to examine the issue and spent time with me explaining what he felt needed to be done, but stated that the major part of the work was beyond what he could handle, since poured foundation walls require "pans" or forms to contain the rebar and concrete pour. He limits himself to walks, driveways, patios, etc., and does not do poured foundations. He provided me with suggestions about how to locate other service providers and left me his card.

These guys are simply the best in my book. I hired them to pour a new driveway apron and pour a 10x12 pad in our back yard for a shed. Some of the concrete companies just like to give a rough estimate over the phone. John Reichert (owner) came out on a Sunday afternoon and spent quite a bit of time with me discussing the pad as it was sitting on a slope in our yard and he wanted to make sure it was done right. From start to finish they were very professional and tidy. They even laid planks everywhere in our yard where wheelbarrows would be carrying concrete.

I called Concrete Builders in June and was contacted within a few days by owner John Reichert. He reviewed the job and submitted a quote. Other companies that we contacted would only quote for the replacement of the entire 13-step entry to our house, a project that was beyond our budget. John and his crew were able to remove and replace the crumbling areas of 6 steps, drilling support rods and pouring a new concrete front and riser. Concrete Builders showed up on time, completed the job in one day, and cleaned up completely. We are very pleased with the results. John was wonderful to work with, and we would definitely use this company again.

He was awesome. He came out on the spot the same day because we had an inspection due.

Went very well and very quickly! From estimate to completion of project was about 2 weeks. John and his associates showed up when they said they would, and did a great job with the steps, sidewalks, and patio. We are very pleased with the results. The back step over the well pit was completed a couple of days before we had 5 inches of rain over two days, which kept us from dealing with water coming into the basement through the well pit, as the previous step had a leakage problem. I would definitely recommend Concrete Builders to anyone, and keep them in mind for our future concrete needs.

Very well. John Reichert was able to work in this small job quickly. He made it very convenient for me. The work was completed quickly. The job site was clean after the work was completed.

John was really nice to work with, when I e-mailed him on angies list he called me back an hour later and it was 8PM at night. He spent about 30 minutes on the phone with me and then setup a time to stop by. When he came he spent over an hour talking about what the options were and what is best for price and reliability. He gave me price options and I thought about what to do, when I decided I called him again and he stopped by to finalize the work to be done. He spent probably 3-4 hours talking to me before he even had the job. The brick wall was falling down and John told me its because the moisture was getting behind it and that should be fixed. He gave me the option of using a cap on top of bricks to prevent future issues. He told me when he could start and would be at my house working. He was here and working when he said he would be. He is really easy to talk to and work with throughout the process. I found a couple other guys that were slightly cheaper but when I talked to them and asked questions they studorded and didn't really have an answer, but there were also a few guys with quotes way higher doing less work. Anything I asked John he knew instantly and had a good answer. Eventually I want to do a cement slab in backyard and I will be calling John. If you want to deal with a down to earth guy who is looking to do best for you call Concrete Builders. I would recommend them to my friends/family.

John and his crew arrived when they said they would and worked hard to finish the work by 3:30 pm. I was truly amazed at the professionalism and friendliness of the crew. The work they did is exceptiona. The finishing is really great. I couldn't have asked for better service and workmanship!

Was very reasonal when providing the bid and was able to break the bid down to choose different parts. An exterior wall was bowed and he was confident he could straighten it after the tear out. Every other company was very afraid to touch it. The wall is now straight and secure. The crews were always on time and all timeframes were kept and met. Mature and professional crew.

I have an old home with beautiful concrete curbs to the front steps, but the steps and sidewalk needed replacing. John poured new steps between the old curbs and gave the new concrete a treatment that darkened it down to blend in with the old curbs. It's perfect! John was great to work with. He listened to my concerns and gave good advice and was always in contact. It was not the lowest bid, but the workmanship was superb.

This was a very small job, and it was difficult to find anyone who was interested in it. Most concrete places seemed to want only larger jobs (i.e. some would only bid to replace the entire sidewalk). In contrast, John was very willing to come out and look at it, and I had a reasonable bid in my hands within a couple of days. When John and I talked, he told me that he would just schedule my step the next time he had a job in my area. I sent in my deposit, and the step was replaced within a few weeks. The whole thing was a pleasant experience, I wouldn't hesitate to use Concrete Builders again.

The primary goal of this project was to put in a new patio surface that would help carry water away from my foundation. The previous homeowners, when they put in a pool, introduced a slope toward the house and did not have a good system for carrying water away. End result was significant water coming into the basement that had to be pumped pretty much non-stop from spring til early winter when the ground froze. I actually had John come out to look at my backyard 3 years ago and give me a quote, but other household emergencies came up and I had to delay the patio project. This year the timing was right, so I called him up and I was impressed that he remembered both me and the proposed job. He came back out to review the site again, and even gave me helpful pointers on further reducing the water that would find its way to that spot of the back yard. I got an updated quote which after 3 years was still the same price! (Plus some add-ons that I decided to include.) John was very flexible; I told him I would like to wait until I closed the pool to begin work, so we put the job off until late September. His crew arrived promptly on the day promised and removed all the old concrete by hand. The next day they poured a window well and curb near the house to make a small planting area, and the third day they poured the patio. What I was most amazed by was how clean the whole process was. Because of my backyard fence, they couldn't bring in larger equipment and had to do all the work by hand and using wheelbarrows. Yet nothing was disturbed or damaged (other than a pool pipe that the previous owners had placed too shallow under the old patio - but that was easily repaired), and not a speck of debris could be found. John and his crew were clean, organized, thorough, friendly, and professional. My new patio looks great and is constructed perfectly to direct that water away from my foundation. Excellent job and I would highly recommend Concrete Builders - absolutely no hesitation. They are the best and John was a pleasure to work with.

From my very first conversation with John I knew it was going to be a great experience. He made numerous visits to our home prior to beginning the work going over options, offering his advice and ensuring that we understood what the job would entail. The work itself took 1 1/2 days; John and his guys were quick yet efficient and very professional from start to finish. We would absolutely do work with John again!

John Rechert returned our call on the same day we called, arranged to view what had to be done and started and completed work as promised. John and his workers were polite, neatly dressed, careful about our property and accommodated our needs.

John came out and looked at the project before providing a quote. He and his crew did a great job for us and were willing to explain what they were doing during the project. They took extra precaution to protect the front door during the removal and replacement of the front landing and step. The left the yard much and they found it. Overall we found John and crew professional and would use them again when the need arises.

John, the owner of the business was great to work with. Unlike several other contractors who came out to look at the project, but never got around to giving us a proposal, John came within a few days to look at the area we wanted to turn into a patio, spent close to 1.5 hours on two separate occassions to discuss it with us and gave us a proposal within a day. I had a person from Gertens Landscaping draw me a patio design, but John pointed out several problems with the design and how we could better design it for the conditions of our site. John is a problem-solver and a thinker. He is ethical and does excellent work. The patio turned out beautifully and completely met our expectations. John was wonderful about communication before, during and after the project was over. I would definitely use this company again and advise friends to use them as well. We have been burned by a concrete company before, so it was a pleasant surprise to work with someone who knows their craft and who is also ethical and pleasant to work with. Overall, a great experience.

Excellent experience! John was very responsive and pro-active with communications. The main thing that I was concerned about with the job was drainage of the slab between my garage and house. When John came for the estimate, that is the first thing he mentioned before I had the chance. After some heavy rain recently, the slab proved that it was sloped perfectly and drains exactly where John said it would. Additionally, they were very respectful of my property and landscaping. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The hole was eight inches high and was pretty big. He put concrete and fixed it. He did a wonderful job. He was honest and knew his work. His price was the best. His was a one-man show. I wasn?t paying a company to have somebody else do the work. He had somebody to work with him in case he needed somebody. I would absolutely hire him again.

Three words: professionalism, craftsmanship and pride. Having never hired concrete work before, we collected six bids. Theirs wasn't the highest, but it was among the higher ones. What made them stand out, though, was the time Mr. Reichert spent with us up front, the thoughtfulness of his analysis, and the creativity of his recommendations. He answered our many questions patiently and thoroughly. You get the sense that this guy loves what he does and that he enjoys solving the challenges that each job brings. After consulting with him, we ended up contracting more work than we'd originally intended, but that was our decision -- there was no attempt to upsell us. From the time we accepted the bid, it was all business and it all went like clockwork. Every stage of the project was efficiently and calmly choreographed and on schedule. As a working owner, Mr. Reichert was there at every stage, and his team members were skilled, hardworking and friendly -- even while pushing wheelbarrows of heavy, wet concrete up our steep slope. He was even the one who came to remove the barricades and replace dirt after everything had set. Their overall attention to detail was exceptional. The image I'll remember was of three team members finessing and smoothing the sidewalk for what seemed like forever (and long after it looked good to me) while Mr. Reichert scrutinized at eye-level like a golfer sizing up a championship putt. The end result is gorgeous and complements our home even better than we'd envisioned. I feel like we made an excellent investment. Overall: An impressive company, great to work with, and they take obvious care and pride in what they do. We're delighted to have found them.

John was very responsive and friendly. He did a very thorough job and got the job done quickly. Also did a good job of ventilating and controlling the dust and debris from concrete removal. Overall, a very good company to work with.

This is the third time we've used John and each experience leads us to wish that he did EVERYTHING -- not just concrete. He is prompt, friendly, thorough. He will not do work if it is not needed. His crew leaves things cleaner than when they started. I actually look for more concrete work just to hire him again.

Three companies bid the job, but we chose John's because he was the most articulate and creative in explaining our various options and needs. He was punctual in giving the estimate and came back again to answer some further questions we had. John supervises the actual work on site. His crew arrived on time and were extremely careful in removing the old walk and setting up the forms, so that the neighboring trees, shrubs and flower beds were not affected. The new walk and repair to the garage floor were poured the following morning. Extremely professional from start to finish, reasonably priced, and excellent craftsmanship.

We had an idea of what we wanted and they provided excellent suggestions in both design and materials to best meet our needs. We had some new landscaping and they worked well around that - where they couldn't - they made sure everything looked like it did prior to them being here.
