First, I would give myself a D for price research. We were charged $20 per vent which did not include taking the vent covers off, which is a scam in itself. Granted some vents and returns require extra effort to get the screws to realign, but the floor vents literally take 2 seconds to pop back in. Competitive-wise, Zerorez was way over priced. So I removed them all and reinstalled them. So had they performed that, it would have been $190 extra for something that would have taken them 15-20 minutes to do. The salesperson gave me an estimate of $640 (actual $760) for our square footage, which was high, but he emphasized that they use better equipment and get "100% of the dirt out." That should have been my red flag right there. Are all our air ducts cleaner? Yes. Did they get 100% of the dirt out? NO. Had missed cleaning one cold air return in the basement after he had disconnected all his cleaning equipment. I had to point that out. Said he would do a "reverse" something.... He put that cover back on that one. After he left I took it back off to check and while it was cleaner, there was still a lot of dust residue around the opening and on the wall. Would have expected that they would have some sort of hand-held vacuum system to clean up around the vent openings. Most vents and returns had dust and webs hanging around the opening and on the carpet. Not a lot, but enough to look like 85% of the job was done. I had just cleaned the utility furnace area of the basement, so I know the area was spotless. There was debris littered everywhere when he left. Not a lot, but again, not what you would expect for "cleaning." Mostly noticeable were the metal shavings everywhere as they need to drill holes into the vents to hook up their equipment. Those shavings were all over the water softener, floor and sprinkled all over some shoes and cleaning supplies that were nearby. If drilling into duct work above things, then cover them up, or clean up after your mess. It's not construction work, it's a cleaning service. Ceiling vents in the basement spit out debris onto the furniture. Sure we could have moved it further away, had I known. He could have done a walk around and cleaned that up. Lastly, the giant hose that they hook up to the vent system that leads into an industrial strength vac system. That hose was disconnected and dragged onto the basement carpeted floor area leaving a trail of vent funk, either from our house, or the one before us. So overall, I would say Zerorez is simply average, and not a cut above the rest as the salesperson claimed. I considered a D, but did not have a benchmark other than what I would envision as customer satisfaction.

After two dogs, a cat and many visitors our carpets were dirty! The tech pretreated and cleaned our carpets. Went from brown to off-white all the stains came out without a problem. Tech was professional, offered other services which I declined and he didn't hassle me. Carpets are left damp but they elevate furniture on foam blocks to allow carpeting to dry.

It was good. It was just what I thought. They drove their car in my yard.

I've heard good things about ZeroRez, but when I called them, they gave me an estimate of $375 for duct cleaning when there are others doing very similar work for $99. I asked if there was a discount for doing carpet and ducts at the same time, but there wasn't. It isn't even the same crew that does carpet and ducts, so it would have been two separate appointments. I even asked if they could do the house I'm renting next door at the same time, but they said this would still be two service calls. The guy on the phone was sympathetic, but it seemed like he was locked into a corporate pricing system with very little flexibility to work with me on. Ended up going with a local guy instead (AAA Anderson's) and was pleased with their work. I guess I'll never know if ZeroRez would have been better, but I was glad to support a family business vs. what I can only assume is a national chain.

UPDATE: Noticed the tech scratched our floors. ZERO has said they would take care of it. Still waiting on their call back for a date. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have to assume that for the price, this is the best on the market. Everything went well

The person that came to clean our carpets was very knowledgeable and professional. In the past we have had other companies clean our carpeting and they never seem to know much about what they are doing. Zerorez got out old stains that other companies couldn't fix. I would never go with anyone else again.

Our carpet cleaner did a fabulous job. He came in, looked at the areas we needed cleaned, clearly explained what he was going to do, the products he was going to use and how long the job would take. He was friendly, professional, and I received an advance phone call alerting me to his arrival 15 minutes before he arrived. When he was finished, the carpet looked great. All the stains came out. We were left with clean, soft carpet! Very pleased with the results.

Went great! Got a call and the provider was ahead of schedule, so came about an hour early. Job was done in 1.5 hours. Technician did an AWESOME job working hard to get our carpets clean. Carpets needed it too after a long winter with a dog and new child in our home.

Zerorez called about 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment and asked if the technician could come about 5-10 minutes early. That worked well to me. He walked through the process and was very thorough. He did not nickel and dime me by noting that my stairs were pretty short so he charged me a wee bit less. What I was unhappy about was that the technician dripped water all over my hardwood floors. He also left a door open and blocked my driveway sideways as I had to run a quick errand. After he left, I spent 20 minutes cleaning my hardwood floors and removing the weird crusty marks the water left. While my carpeted areas look good, I do not think I would reuse this service without giving very explicit directions.

Derek was fantastic and provided updates throughout the cleaning process. I just purchased the home and was shocked at how filthy the carpets were, and they cleaned them right up (and provided recommendations for areas that would require more than a basic cleaning, such as a "biological" (read: baby pee) stain in a corner that had soaked through the carpet, backing, padding, and even carpet tack. Punctual, professional, extremely courteous, and while add-on services were offered (e.g. grout cleaning in a bathroom I hadn't finished cleaning yet, vent/furnace cleaning, rug protection, etc.), I never once felt pressured. I sent two rugs with them to be thoroughly cleaned (not included in my "approximate cost of service" figure) and they will be coming back later in the week to clean my air ducts and furnace. I especially appreciate the fact that harsh chemicals are not used and will definitely be calling them again for future services.

I heard a lot of commercials and thought it was a good deal and I would try it out. They were on time. They did not do a very good job. I called them back because I could tell they did a bad job compared to my other carpet cleaner, and it still wasn't good.

They are a local company here in Minneapolis and they are fine. Two people came out and they were punctual and courteous.

It went good. I think they do a really good job. They were here when they said they would be. I have recommended them to others. I feel they get the carpet cleaner than anyone else has before.

It went very well..the rug is very clean!

I initially heard about them on the radio. I called them and this was about two years ago and I had them come out and the last time we used them I went on Angie's List to see if they were there and they were so I used them again.The women who took my order she is very accommodating to our schedule and so they scheduled it, first time there were two guys there was one because the job wasn't big. They did a very good job. They didn't try to sell us anything that we didn't request. They are professional and I am certainly impressed with them.. I certainly would use them again.

Ceramic tile floors were brought back to looking like new again. Fans were used to dry them quicker. Along the way they managed to get some stuck-in dirt out of the corners in the bathroom. Furniture was moved as needed and the carpet was cleaned. Not all stains could be removed, but a lot of the stiff furniture 'holes' were brought back to life. Furniture was put back in place with the Styrofoam squares under all legs to not cause them to get wet. Definitely I'll call Zerorez again.

Very through job, well done, left no mess. I'd use them again!

Bad.... Didn't have the service since they must get you pricing based on a dart board.

We will continue to use them every quarter. They are professional and their service is amazing. They use eco-friendly and green products. They are willing to work with people on rooms and prices. They are the best company we are using right now.

Everything went great! I called just a few days before we were closing on our new home & they fit us into their schedule around our time frame. The woman I spoke with to schedule was very professional & helpful. On the day the carpets were scheduled to be cleaned the technicians (Chris & Andy) called in the time frame I was given to let us know that they would be arriving in 20 minutes. They arrived at our home & walked us through all that they would be doing. They put shoe booties on to cover their shoes & put corner guards up to protect our walls. Halfway through the 1st room they were cleaning they brought us in to show us the difference the cleaning was making - it was noticeable! We always have had hardwood floors in previous homes so carpet cleaning is new to us. They explained everything very clearly to us & gave us tips on how to help the carpet dry a little faster (so we could move in our furniture the next day) & how to maintain the carpet until the next cleaning. They were very personable & professional - you could tell they took pride in their jobs & that they were great at them too! I would use this company again & would recommend others to try them out.

I like that they don’t use chemicals. They are really professional. They move the furniture for you, which I like, and so they clean under the sofas for example and then they move it back.

I would say that they will be foolish not to use this service provider. They were very professional. They did not over sell. I was very pleased with the outcome.

They are slightly pricier, but I think they are worth it.

It was wonderful! They did not use any chemicals to clean the carpet that would normally make it feel crunchy after the service. A very nice orange smell after the cleaning. I would recommend them
