Work accomplished in just two pleasant visits. Troy came to assess situation and provide a recommendation for an opener that would provide us both functionality and durability. When he returned, he installed a very nice opener that works like a charm. Thanks very much!!!

They were very professional. Arrived on time, fixed the problem and guaranteed the service.

Twin Cities has come out and worked on our garage door a number of times. They seem tog et the job done and the price is fairly reasonable. We have had some issues with scheduling but they get resolved quickly and when the technician does come out he is pretty efficient.

Install and removal went well. Technician - Ben - was personable and professional enough. What soured me is the service after install. Upon inspection post job complete, I noticed two small scratches on lower door panel through to metal. Steel door so will rust, therefore asked for srcratch repair or if touch-up paint available to correct. I was assured that he or someone would come by next time in neighborhood and repair. Two months later and has yet to happen. Even with call to TCGD requesting follow-up to repair, nothing. I will not recommend to anyone based on this. Small action but speaks volumes.

Well they state that their springs have a lifetime warranty. Yet they are the company that replaced them 5 years ago and I still had to pay again this time. The last set of springs were both the same size. The replacements are two differant sizes .....And the door will not stay up .... Update They sent another service person out today. Chris was his name and he did a great job,. replaced one of the springs that was replaced yesterday and then readjusted them. I can not change my ratting for the company though, it should have been done right the first time, nor will I ever use them again. If you do not know enough to disconnect your garage door opener to make sure the door is adjusted right, you will not know until you have to replace your opener because you burned out the motor. Also I believe that when I emailed them, Dan the manager should have called me, but instead he decided to email me back and forth. He did not call me until after I had rated them on Angies list.

Adam called promptly and arrived as expected. He was very reassuring about the project and quickly got the job done, getting the door back in order and working. I would call Twin City Garage Door again if I needed future repairs.

We had a problem with the garage door opener stopping when the door was partially up in cold weather. Because this was not a critical problem the appointment was a couple of weeks in the future from the time of our call. The technician arrived on time, fixed the tension for the opener, serviced the door overall and explained what the issue was (tension setting). Everyone we dealt with was polite, friendly and provided good explanations. It was -10 degrees yesterday and the garage door is working perfectly. Very happy with the service provided.

Wonderful experience. My wife called on other provider and was quoted 4 times the amount as Twin Cities Garage Door. Called them and they gave me an exact quote. Came out, fixed the springs. Showed my wife and I what to look for down the road. Garage door works perfect. Pleasant experience, would recommend them A+. Wrote the check for the quote. Professional and educated us during the repair. Well done!

Service is excellent. They explain what they are going to do and how they are going to complete it. They respond quickly. The emergency service is excellent. We have had an issue on the weekend and they have been out within a few hours. We use this company through the HOA. I am president of the OPUS TWO PHASE FOUR HOA.

I called on Tuesday because my garage door was broken. We had three people lift the door open and it had to remain that way until it was fixed. I called and scheduled an appointment and it took 1 week to get into the schedule. The whole period during this time my home and my personal security felt at risk because I could not secure my garage. The day of service - I received a call at 7:15 am that I was unable to answer because I was getting ready for work. The timeframe was from 12 - 2. Because I work - I left for work. At around noon as I was leading meetings - I received a call from the office stating that since I did not leave payment they would cancel the work. I requested that they stay and complete the work, and on my return from work at 5pm I would check the work and they could at that time call me for my credit card number. This seemed ok then, but in 10 minutes, again in front of a group I was meeting with the office called and stated they would cancel the work unless I paid them when it was done. I again stated that when the work was done I would gladly pay for it, but I wanted to see the work and ensure that I received the service I was paying for. I received at least 4 calls in 20 minutes. After the third call, I left work to ensure that it was completed and that they could receive payment. I was told during the call that it would be complete at 1pm. While I was in route - I received yet another call for payment, advising me the work was complete and they wanted to get to their next job. I was only 10 minutes away at that point and they agreed to wait. When I arrived at my home - they were in fact not completed with the work and still in progress. They completed at 1pm as they originally stated. I understand businesses wanting to receive payment. I don't understand that lack of understanding of a homeowner wanting to see the work done - put the garage door up and down, and hand them a check. I felt like I was treated poorly - and harassed for a payment that was not due. I did pay them in full and feel the worker completed the work and was professional, tidy and appropriate. The office was not. I do not recommend doing business with anyone that does not understand the value of the customer and understand that we should be able to agree the work is done as promised before payment. I feel my request was reasonable and should have been respected. Sue, at the office was highly offensive and implied that I would not pay for the work and that she "did not do collections". I leave this experience with a very bad tasted in my mouth about how this office values customers. The work was completed and so far - working as promised.

I called them up and they were able to come out the first time. He came out and tried to fix the problem, but couldn't so he had to call in a 2nd guy. They 2nd guy came out and it was nice that they didn't charge me the 2nd time. They had some ideas as to what the issue was, but they were not able to fix it. They were nice guys, they were honest and were punctual.

They are unreliable and unprofessional. I had called to schedule the repair of my garage door. I was told ny their office that the Tech would call me the day before the repair to setup a service window for the repair. The Tech did not call until 7:23 am the day of the repair to schedule the window. I left work and was home during that window. It came and went with no Tech. There was no call to even say he would be late. When I called the office I was told the Tech was running an hour late. I cancelled the appointment because I had already been gone for more than 21/2 hours. There was not even so much as an apology of any type fromthe office - just a non-caring "OK."

Well. They did a good job.

I called on a Tuesday, the appointment was set for the next day, the serviceman showed up at the promised time and did the work. I was very happy with the company.

I went home and tried her suggestions and was able to fix the problem in just a few minutes. Not many companies would that but that is why I would go nowhere else for garage door service. It is also why I do not hesitate to recommend them to other people.

As it turns out, we need a new lifting mechanism for our system (the opener itself was just fine so that wasn't changed). We agreed to convert over to the one recommended by Twin Cities Garage Door and after a short wait to get the right materials in, our garage door is now working better than it ever did before. I did have to make a few calls to get subsequent appointments set up for the actual repair. It was slightly challenging to get availability matched to our schedule, and there seemed to be a few things lost in translation between the door tech & the office staff but we got it figured out. They definitely adhere to requiring a large block of time for the appointment start--like 8-12 or 1-5--which isn't too convenient for the home owner. But overall, our service technician was quite easy to work with and really competent. We'd absolutely use this company in the future!

The work went fine at the time. A year later it is making all kinds of noises.

We had someone come out from our home warranty company who took one look at our garage door opener and said he couldn't fix it, and told US to check the spring (didn't check it himself) and said if it was broken the home warranty wouldn't cover it. My husband and I checked and it was broken so we called Twin City Garage Door to come out and change the spring. I mentioned to Brent that we weren't sure if the home warranty would cover the replacement of the door opener since the spring was broken and that we were thinking about just having him go ahead and replace it while he was here. He checked out the opener and said it was worth submitting since it would save us quite a bit of money. I appreciated his honesty since he could have easily taken the job (and the pay), but instead he worked with us in submitting the report to our home warranty company, which wound up saving us about $200. We wound up having a total of three companies come out during this whole process (the warranty company sent someone out fix the opener) but Twin City Garage Door was the most pleasant, professional experience we had of the three. I would definitely recommend them!

They remotes were recalled, so they have to come out and replace them. They are very professional

excellent. from the time we called to inquire about price and scheduling, they were very professional, the price was competitive, the technician was very polite and professional and knowledgeable.

I had them install a garage door opener which I had purchased years ago. They worked with my schedule. First time was to install the opener in the summer, but due to low clearance for the track, the installer contacted me to inform me. We had to reschedule until I had time to make modifications to my joists to allow access to track. They did not take payment for the work preformed thus far. When I rescheduled, they finished on time. And even followed direction left by note regarding access code. I'm very pleased with the work done.

Very good. They initially scheduled the install for Wed on a Sat morning, and then followed up first thing Monday when they confirmed the appointment. The person showed up on time and was done installing in less than two hours.

From my initial call to the company to the actual repair, I was informed of the cost and the scheduled service time. Rob arrived and replaced the gear. He gave us the old part and informed us of its function. He lubricated the tracks so the door sounds like new. He inspected the system and explained maintenance that may come up in the future. No surprises--just a company that knows its business.
