Our new door was ordered on 6/3/2021and installed on 9/15/2021. Shortly thereafter a cosmetic dent was noticed in one of the panels. A new panel was ordered and the damaged one was replaced. On observation, the new panel was damaged also. Again, the panel was ordered and, after a time, replaced. More recently, we noticed that there is a dent on one of the panels but this one is on the interior facing side of the panel. This went unnoticed until now. The previous two cosmetic defects were to the exterior facing panels. The currently damaged panel defect is on the inside facing surface and went unnoticed until now. Most likely because we were accustomed to looking for cosmetic issues on the exterior of the panels. Although it took us a while to discover this new defect, once seen, it is impossible for us to unsee it. Unfortunately for us, Twin City Garage Door Co. refuses to cover the replacement of the panel under their warranty. We will NOT use this company for our next garage door purchase or service. One garage door purchased with three panel replacements, due to handling issues, seems excessive.

One of two springs broke 3 years into a 5 year warranty. That vendor (not Twincity) required the original receipt - which I didn't have. They don't keep electronic records of customers. I returned to Twincity, who installed the door, and they responded promptly, installed larger springs, lubed and tuned up the door. They DO provide electronic receipts and DO keep records. My only mistake was not using them 3 years ago.

Flawless. We appreciated their expertise, indicating that a garage door with windows would look awkward and not seal well because of the low height of our opening and that we had aluminum wrapped-trim around the garage door opening. After a couple of weeks after signing and returning the bid, we phoned to confirm that our install was on the schedule (it was and its time and date given). Received appropriate number of contacts/alerts just before the onset of the work. Techs arrived on schedule and replacement was done in a couple of hours. Excellent work.

It went well. Twin City Garage Door called me in the morning to remind me about the afternoon appointment window. The window was 12-2, and the technicians were there at 12:30. They worked together to install 2 new cables and fix some other important thing. When they were done, they knocked on my door, and I gave them payment with a credit card. It was very easy and professional.

Everything went smoothly. Door works fine after the replacement and lubing of the wheels.

Installation went very well. Installer, sorry I can't recall his name, was punctual and very professional. Took about 4-5 hours to install. Installation was about six weeks ago, so far no problems. Door has performed excellently.

I calledand left a message before they opened, directing to have to call back after the open but instead they called back still an hour before opening. Had me on the as the first stop (I live near the Burnsville office) and he was out by 8:30 am. Rob was courteous, resourceful, and got straight to work. I had to run to drop off my kids and by the time i got bak 25 min later he was done. Replaced both springs, lubricated the rollers, tuned-ip the door and opener, reattached the pullbar with reinforcements, and cleaned everything. It all came in under 200.

Just fine. No hiccups. My only interaction was over the phone/email. The provided a timely estimate and catalog from which I could see the options. When I made my choice, they were ready to go and the work was completed promptly. I can home from work with a new door. Huge improvement. It works and looks good-- almost like having a whole new garage.

Awesome! The doors were installed in a day by Todd Treague, who did an amazing job ensuring that everything not only was installed with heavy duty perfection, but looked great when finished. He especially ensured the trim was straight and snug against the doors. It really was fortunate that Todd was the guy who did the installation because his years of experience shined through dealing with our old garage that was probably built originally in the 1920s. The garage door openers are almost silent when they operate.

I spoke with the people at Twin City Garage Door Co and they sent out Cory. Cory called before coming out, arrived on time, was friendly and professional. He found some other worn parts and replaced them after talking to me about what he found. I would recommend Twin City Garage Door Co and Cory to anyone needing garage door service. The whole experience was hassle free and very fast.

It went well. The installer was punctual, knowledegable and kept a clean work space. I would use them again.

My garage door broke the previous evening as it was closing, after one car was in the garage. One cable had come off and the door was totally messed up and at an angle and at least one roller was broken off and one track bent. A friend who's a home handyman came over and we tried to get it straightened out but couldn't so the car was trapped. TCGD had rewound the springs on the door a few years ago so I called them first thing the next morning. They were very busy so couldn't get back to me for a couple of hours. At first they said they couldn't get out that day but when I told them a car was trapped inside they said they'd try to work me in that afternoon. Indeed, Eric, a technician was able to get out that afternoon and repaired the door. He replaced several rollers, the cables/fixtures and was able to bend the one track so I didn't need a new one. He rewound the springs, which I knew would need to be done, adjusted the door and attached it back to the electric door opener. I was prepared for the worst and felt the repair cost was very fair and reasonable especially as they were able to get out to repair it in a short time. So far the door has worked fine. Very good experience.

Scott McKay of Twin City Garage Door Company came out to give us an estimate but did not get back to us. Lots of promises, no follow through.

oyI really recommend this company! I greatly appreciate their professionalism and honesty. I called them because another garage door company told me that I needed to replace my door due to rust corrosion. I called Twin City Garage Door per a recommendation from my association, fully expecting a quote on a new door. Troy came promptly, looked at the door, opening, wiring, etc... and told me that the door did not need replacement. Only 2 metal tracks needed to be replaced, which he did on the spot, along with a general tuneup and some lessons to me about how to address my garage door problems in the winter, when my door doesn't always stay down. Very helpful! I appreciate their honesty... they could have told me (like the other company) that I needed a new door at significant expense and I would have believed them. Everything is working great.

They said and did call in the 1 hour window they specified for the day of the appointment. Then gave us a 2 hour range of when they would start the work. Appeared a few minutes early right at the beginning of the window of time. Took about 45 minutes to complete the work. Garage door seems to be running smoothly. I also liked the fact that they responded very quickly to messages through Angie's List while setting up the appointment.
