Description of Work: These guys are AWESOME! I needed to have a full transmission service on my 09 Yukon, so I checked around for prices and recommendations. I followed my neighbors recommendations and took it here. They are VERY knowledgeable and fair priced - I cant say enough on how good they really are!

Excellent! Top notch!
Description of Work: It's hard for me to explain what they did but it smelt like exhaust coming into my vehicle. It was a valve of some sort that needed replacing and the dealership wanted a lot more than I could afford and also was going to do more work then need be. I consulted with a couple places and this place was by far the kindest and overall best service. I knew when I called that this was the place for me. I am now back for another problem and they're already on top of it, remembered me when I walked in the door! Feels like family taking care of me.

Description of Work: We brought our van to TSI because of suspected transmission problems. It was possible that we might need a new transmission. TSI quickly diagnosed the problem (not transmission related) and made the repair. They performed only the necessary repairs and did not take advantage of the situation. They were professional, explained what needed to be done and why. Our problem was resolved for a very reasonable charge; much less that a new transmission. We are very, very satisfied customers and will use TSI again.

Called and were able to get right in. The transmission was no longer shifting properly and stopped completely on the way to the shop. We were given options to evaluate the problem and chose the full evaluation. They ran diagnostics but were not sure of the extent of the issue without digging in. They provided a range estimate and came in within the range. They fixed the problem promptly by replacing the transmission with a used unit and my son had his car within a few days. They were very courteous, helpful in explaining the different options, prompt in completing the work on schedule and on the estimate. Given the circumstances, we could not get additional estimates for comparison, however based on Angies reviews I didn't feel it was necessary. I would highly recommend this shop for your transmission needs.
Description of Work: Repaired the transmission on my son's older model cadillac on time and within the estimate range.

Everyone at TSI was very professional and helpful. Tom did a great job of explaining what was wrong with my car and how they would be able to help me. I'd definitely go back and have referred friends and colleagues to them. They even sent me a thank you note within a week of service. They are fantastic!
Description of Work: My car's transmission was not functioning properly and TSI examined the car and determined I needed a minor repair. I had to have the transmission sensor replaced. They were able to complete the job within a very short time frame.

They are very good and have a reasonable price. They don't tell us what all we need done like other auto companies. They are upfront and honest. They have knowledgeable technicians. To me they are a money saving and knowledgeable company.
Description of Work: We have three vehicles. When it comes to periodically changing the transmission filter and the fluid, I take my vehicles there.

Although it took longer than they estimated to determine what was wrong they were able to find a BMW bulletin that described the problem perfectly and what was needed to make the repair. BMW was not able to get this information for me. However TSI could not do the repair as it required special tools.
Description of Work: My BMW 330i had a problem when downshifting from 5th gear (manual gear box). They said they would look at it for no charge and give me an estimate.

I called earlier in the day and dropped the car off around noon. By mid-afternoon they had an assessment. Unlike the other place I got an estimate, these guys were willing to open the transmission up and do repairs. The other shop would only do replacement even though they thought it was only bent fork inside. The bill would start at $1200 and could top out at $3000.
Description of Work: They looked into my loss of reverse and the synchro on 5th gear.

I CALLED TSI IN THE AM AND THEY WERE ABLE TO GET MY CAR IN A FIXED BY 5PM THAT AFTERNOON. THEY WERE FRIENDLY AND PROMPT AND FIXED ONLY WHAT WAS NEEDED WITHOUT TRYING TO SELL ME MORE.
