Top Dog Cleaning Crew

Owner was arrogant and condensing to my 88 year old mother. This company did not do a professional job, and in fact, after they left the gas dryer still would not work as the dryer vent was still clogged. After another call was placed for them to return, and they commented "we just clean them, we don't fix them". Ended up calling another company to complete the job. Please be cautious of hiring this company.

The job was performed well and efficiently, despite our dryer vent needing extra attention upon inspection. Our technician was professional and friendly.

The cleaning went well though the clean-up wasn't as good as it could/should have been. One of the tools used was a spray tool and there was no clean-up of the over spray—onto the wood floor and coffee tables.

Just had this company out today to clean my carpets. They did a fantastic job. I have no complaints. The technician arrived on time and was polite and friendly. The cleaning took about 1 1/2 hours and the end results are better than I expected. I had a ccouple really bad stains that I have never been able to get out and they are gone. Pricing seemed fair and cheaper than the other quotes I received. I will use them again and recommend them to anyone.

I was beyond impressed by this company. After a lot of research I chose to go through them because of all their great reviews and I am thrilled that I did. They were on time, price was what they said it would be, they got my carpet looking brand new, and airducts all cleaned out and now the dust is gone from my house!! I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Short version: Good cleaning, but I was overcharged (double the original quote), and never received a receipt or explanation of charges after multiple attempts to get one. They also failed to apologize for their mistakes and I was treated very rudely during my attempts to get a receipt. Long version: Positives: Andrew was very punctual and the cleaning itself was great. The ducts and carpets were cleaned effectively, and he even got out a few mice. I have no complaints with the actual cleaning. Negatives: Well, it all started with my initial contact. Andrew had quoted me the coupon prices on the website and explained the possible extra fees over the phone. I was expecting to pay around $400-500 . Well, he showed up the day of and failed to give my husband a receipt. Our house was completely vacant when he cleaned it and I looked all over the house for the receipt, but he obviously didn't leave one as it was nowhere to be found. I e-mailed about getting a copy of the receipt because the charges seemed higher than the original quote, but I never heard back. I then called him a week later and was accused of never sending an e-mail (a simple apology would have sufficed). This should have been the first red flag for me. However, it got worse! When I asked about the receipt he blamed my husband for losing it; however, it is impossible that we received one as I had mentioned our house was empty and there was no place for it to hide. Either way, it is simple enough to furnish it upon request, right? WRONG! He said he'd call me back the following day even though he was extremely busy (and, apparently, it was too much work for him). I never got the call back so called again the day after. He told me he couldn't find the receipt, but if I texted him my e-mail address he would send it over. It has now been two weeks and I have STILL not received anything. At this point I have given up hope as they obviously have no intention of giving me a receipt. I truly feel like I was scammed. If they had nothing to hide they would have given me a receipt by now instead of giving me the run around. I am considering filing a complaint with my credit card company, but feel I may have given them too much time to make it right to actually receive a reimbursement for the overages. If Andrew had just done his job in the first place, or at the very least in the second place when I asked him (over and over) I would not be leaving this review. However, you need to know that this is a shady business with a lack of basic customer service skills. Hire them at your own risk. UPDATE: After posting this review Amy contacted me and finally provided our receipt along with an apology. I appreciate that and have increased my rating for the review as a result. However, my interactions with Andrew over the receipt still lost my business overall and warrant a less than stellar review score.

Chose this company, in part, based on their expertise in Pet Odors. Was reassured by their Angie's List ratings. Spoke with Andrew on the phone who provided a reasonable quote that was less than another one that I received. His technician, Tyler, arrived on time and his final price was less than that quoted on the phone. Overall, a professional service that I would hire again if needed.

Out of a score of 10, they would get a 25. The guy was so hard working. I have had my rugs cleaned before but this guy really worked. He got every single spot off my rug. He couldn't have been friendlier. He was on time. I couldn't believe what I paid for it. It was one of those $99 deals. He had to charge me an extra $30 for a deep cleaning. I didn't care. He just did a wonderful job. He left me a couple of cards which I am going to pass around to friends. I would highly recommend this man. I had a lot of carpeting to clean. I even had a piece left over when they put my carpeting in. It is quite a good size and I have used it as a runner going through a room that we walk through all the time. He even took that out in the kitchen and washed it. He did a nice job. I would have him back again. It was one of the Angie's List Special deals and it worked out perfect. I would give him A+++. I will use him again.

Andrew and Tyler are true professionals. Tyler performed the work. He was on time and did a great job. I will be using them for carpet cleaning in the future.

They left some duct debris out by the duct and the foyer on the entry way of our house. They left a bunch of duct work debris and lint in that area and they didn't clean up. They could clean up after themselves. I think I could have got it cheaper. I have no way of knowing the quality as it was the first time I had duct work cleaned, and there is no way of gauging what you can't see. I would probably try somebody different in the future.

The second time around was wonderful. The recliner came out great.

Procedure was great. Thorough cleaning of ducts and dryer vent. Good attention to detail. Technician was personable and gave helpful advice.

Top dog was able to get all the mess cleaned up and there are no visible stains. The only issue I had was getting them here asap but the soonest they could get to my house was two days out but they did their best to get to me as soon as their schedule permitted. So I had to live with the mess longer then preferred. They also had had to do a second visit for some spots in the carpet that were still showing. They returned with no issue and were able to retreat that area and it cleaned up well.

Tyler was fantastic. He was professional, kind to our kids (who ask mountains of questions), and thorough. I would definitely use him again and may use him for carpet cleaning as well.

Courteous, friendly and a job done with exceptional professionalism. We think we found the right team to take care of our home maintenance chores. Will definitely hire them next time.

Showed up on time, friendly and professional. Pointed out that the ducts in this recently acquired property were undoubtedly filthy and did we wish them deep cleaned and disinfected? We agreed and he performed that service, having to empty the filter in his truck repeatedly as there was everything from playing cards, clods of dirt, writing utensils, small children, and the like trapped in the ductwork. Also completely cleaned the furnace, replaced a couple of missing cover plates to improve the airflow, and cleaned the carpeting on the second floor as well as the stairs leading up to same. Would definetly use this service again.

Arrived within the agreed upon time window, though the 30-minute warning was 54 minutes. Very friendly, professional, calm, and informative. The machinery and tools used were in great shape and not disruptive to my evening at all. You could easily continue with a family dinner and/or watching TV as then work was done. I had six different companies bid on my job, and Top Dog was the same or less than all six other companies. The friendly and responsive phone communication, along with the price, sold me on Top Dog. I can't imagine why one would be disappointed with this company.

I am very pleased with the job done by Andrew Elms and crew. Andrew answered the phone personally and we scheduled the work within 2 days. The crew arrived on time and were very professional - each worker introduced himself. I walked the dog while they worked and when I returned an hour later they were finished! The carpeting was dry by the end of the day. They were able to clean the areas where the dog likes to lie, and removed a ton of dog hair from the carpeting and the couch. Their truck-mounted equipment has much more suction than my vacuum. Andrew has his own employees (all relatives), no subs. His price was in line with other quotes and he offers a senior discount. I will definitely be calling him in the future.
